Athlete of the week: Seth Bearden
Midwestern State men's golfer Seth Bearden is having a great 2025 campaign, with three individual tournament victories this season. The most recent coming at the Oak Tree Invitational. Last week in Edmond, Oklahoma Bearden shot rounds of 70, 68 and 71 to earn the win by four strokes over the nearest competitor in the field. Seth's season stroke average is 71.4, owning 12 rounds of even par or better and seven rounds in the 60's. As part of earning our athlete of the week honor, Bearden will be featured on the digital billboard on Lawrence Road in Wichita Falls throughout the week.
