Look: Braden Fiske was hanging out with Aaron Donald at the Angel City FC game
Braden Fiske didn't get the chance to play alongside Aaron Donald with the Los Angeles Rams but he has had the opportunity to spend time with the future Hall of Fame defensive tackle. Donald has remained close to the Rams organization and attended practices, so he and Fiske have been in touch.
They appear to be friends outside of football, too.
Donald posted photos on Instagram of himself and his family at the Angel City FC game and he was sitting in the same row as Fiske. They even took a picture together at their seats, rocking Angel City FC gear in support of the local team.
Last summer, Fiske had the chance to work out with Donald before training camp, which was a great way for him to get ready for the summer grind.
When Donald attended a Rams-Cowboys joint practice in August, Donald came away impressed with Fiske.
"That guy's going to be a player,' Donald told Andrew Whitworth.
If Fiske can follow Donald's lead and get the guidance of a legend, he'll be on a path to doing great things in the NFL.

NYT ‘Strands' Today: Hints, Spangram And Answers For Thursday, June 5
Strands NYT Looking for Wednesday's Strands hints, spangram and answers? You can find them here: The New York Times' Strands puzzle is a play on the classic word search. It's in beta for now, which means it'll only stick around if enough people play it every day. There's a new game of Strands to play every day. The game will present you with a six by eight grid of letters. The aim is to find a group of words that have something in common, and you'll get a clue as to what that theme is. When you find a theme word, it will remain highlighted in blue. You'll also need to find a special word called a spangram. This tells you what the words have in common. The spangram links two opposite sides of the board. While the theme words will not be a proper name, the spangram can be a proper name. When you find the spangram, it will remain highlighted in yellow. Be warned: You'll need to be on your toes. 'Some themes are fill-in-the-blank phrases. They may also be steps in a process, items that all belong to the same category, synonyms or homophones,' The New York Times notes. 'Just as she varies the difficulty of Wordle puzzles within a week, [Wordle and Strands editor Tracy] Bennett plans to throw Strands solvers curveballs every once in a while.' Time to do the NYT hint and then my own hint after that: Mary, Mary, quite… And mine is: Rhyme words Now we begin the answer portion of the program which is the spangram and the full list of the other answers, the spangram is: GARDEN Here it is on the page, and read on: Strands NYT And the answers are: Strands NYT Well, I hope you're up on your nursery rhymes that first originated in the year 1744, because that's what we're doing today. There are more modern version of the poem, which was originally from England, and we're taking different words from that version, which is: Well, I got contrary, but to get the rest of those I needed a few hints, as this is not exactly what I'm reading to my kids at night. Also, the spangram is just another word, that's not what the spangram is supposed to be. They keep doing this! Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Rams lifting contest: Aaron Donald vs. Jared Verse?
During his rookie season, Rams edge rusher Jared Verse established himself as one of the NFL's most boisterous players — and also a force to be reckoned with ala former Rams star Aaron Donald. So it should be no surprise that Verse, the NFL defensive rookie of the year, unabashedly if not kiddingly sounded Wednesday as if he was challenging Donald, a future Hall of Famer and legendary training maven, to a workout duel. During an appearance on the 'Adam Schefter Podcast,' Verse was asked if he could work out with Donald during the offseason. 'No, he don't want that,' Verse said. 'He's not ready for that.' Verse did not stop. 'That little 500 bench he had. He's not ready for that,' Verse said. 'Hey, I'll be moving weight. I'll be moving weight.' So Donald can't keep up with you right now? Schefter asked. 'Hey, whenever he's ready for a workout,' Verse said. 'Man, I'll be seeing his little Instagram posts, the benches, the dumbbell benches. Hey, he can get me whenever he's ready.' Donald playfully responded in a video on social media. 'Somebody put the word out,' Donald said. 'I'm looking for you, Verse. I'm looking for you. Come to the house. I just want to talk. I just want to talk, that's it. 'Nothing much, big dog. That's it. Just a little conversation. Put in a little weights. Do a little cardio. You know, the old-man retirement workout. Let's put you through it. See what you can do. I just want to talk. Come on, I just want to talk.'

Warriors Turn Heads With Strong Steph Curry Message on Wednesday
Warriors Turn Heads With Strong Steph Curry Message on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After squeaking by the Houston Rockets in seven games, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors saw their season come to an end after falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves 4-1 in the Western Conference semifinals Advertisement The Warriors faced an uphill battle after winning Game 1, as Curry exited with a hamstring injury and never returned. Initially given a one-week recovery timeline, he was unable to get healthy, and Golden State went on to lose four straight games without him. During the 2024-25 regular season, Curry averaged 4.4 made 3-pointers per game, the most in the NBA. However, playing in only 70 contests, the former Davidson guard totaled 311 made 3-pointers, third behind Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and Detroit Pistons guard Malik Beasley. Although he didn't lead the league, Curry still made history by becoming the only player to hit 300 or more three-pointers in six different seasons. He first reached this mark during the 2015-16 NBA season when he hit a career-high 402 shots from distance. Curry was also able to accomplish this last season as well, making 357 from long range. Advertisement The Warriors announced the news on Instagram. "6th Season with 300+ 3PM for No. have only been 10 times in NBA history that a player has reached 300 threes in a season." NBA fans were left impressed with Curry's achievement, taking to the Instagram comment section to share their thoughts "only missing szn was cuz of injury. truly incredible," one fan said. "Best player in the nba mj could never," wrote a second. "Look at curry's man so inspirational," added another. "Okc lucky they ain't see steph," commented a fourth. "Same guy, same GOAT," replied a fifth. "surprised he didn't get it 2022 championship year," added a sixth. Curry's former teammate, Klay Thompson, hit 301 in 2022-23 while James Harden made 378 in his 2018-19 season with the Houston Rockets.
