Kochi/Kottayam: After a hiatus of more than a week, monsoon rains resumed in many parts of the state on Tuesday with shows expected to continue till Saturday. Across the state, nine districts — except for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Idukki, Palakkad, and Wayanad — were on yellow alert on Tuesday.
