Was Mila Kunis Mentioned In The Sean 'Diddy' Combs Trial?

Graziadaily27-05-2025

Since Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested for charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation, his many A-list friends have come under scrutiny. Diddy, who denies all allegations and has pleaded not guilty in court, threw infamous partied throughout the 2000s which were attended by countless celebrities- a lot of whom have now been mentioned during his trial.
So far, plenty of people have taken to the stand and testified against Diddy, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, Danity Kane singer Dawn Richard, rapper Kid Cudi, Diddy's former personal assistant David James and an escort Diddy allegedly paid for 'freak offs' called Daniel Phillip.
Various celebrities have also been mentioned during the course of the trial including Lauren London, Usher, who previously described Diddy as a mentor and Michael B. Jordan, who reportedly had a brief flirtation with Ventura during the period of their on-off relationship. However, it's not yet clear where they would fit into the case and there's been no suggestion that they were involved in the alleged crimes, nor are they accused of any wrongdoing.
Another celebrity that's come under fire is Mila Kunis and her husband Ashton Kutcher. Although neither of them have explicitly been mentioned in the trial so far and have not been accused of any crime, their close ties to the music mogul has meant that they've come under intense media scrutiny ever since he was arrested last year. After his arrest, photos emerged showing a young Kutcher with Combs, including one of him co-hosting the record producer's annual White Party in 2009. It remains uncertain whether either of them will be called to testify in the Diddy trial.
Kutcher has reportedly been friends with Diddy ever since 2003, right around the time the actor launched his prank show Punk'd. Diddy told James Corden on The Late Late Show in 2018, 'I gave [Kutcher] a call one day and said, 'I heard that you are going to punk me, and I just don't think that's a good idea."'
Appearing on the YouTube series Hot Onesin 2019, Ashton Kutcher declined to share details about the rapper's parties, saying, 'I've got a lot I can't tell.'
He also recalled that the pair began training for the New York City Marathon together shortly after they first became friends. 'We had paparazzi all around us at the time and [Diddy] was like, 'You gotta slow down, but make it look like you're not slowing down, because I don't want to look like I'm not going to be able to finish this thing.'
Kunis has been forced to deny rumours that she and Ashton are splitting up due to tension placed on the marriage during the trial. Unfortunately for the actress, this Diddy trial follows another public relations controversy for her and her husband. In 2023, they both voiced their public support for their That '70s Show co-star Danny Masterson after he was accused of sexual assault. The couple faced backlash when their character letters were made public in which they praised their friend as a 'role model' and an 'exceptional person.' Shortly afterwards, Masterson was sentenced to 30 years in prison when a jury found him guilty of two counts of rape.
With Diddy's trial predicted to end in early July, we'll need to wait and see if Mila or Ashton are mentioned or even called to the stand.

Tokyo-based online broadcaster brings DJs into fish shops and classic cafés

As redevelopment, rising rents and fundamental changes in the city's social fabric put an ever tightening squeeze on traditional shops and eateries across Tokyo, many old-school businesses like neighbourhood greengrocers and fishmongers, worker's caffs and candy stores are becoming endangered species in the urban jungle. But all's far from lost for the capital's mom-and-pop shops, especially with a new generation of techno and house heads now spotlighting their community value. Yup, you read that right: Online music broadcaster new YouTube session series The Shoten has sparked buzz on social media by inviting up-and-coming local DJs to play sets in surroundings such as an antique furniture store in Shimokitazawa and an Akabane fish shop run by the same family for four generations. The crew came up with the idea of channelling the power of tight tunes to champion at-risk sites of urban culture after growing disillusioned with the lack of communication between the Japanese club scene and the wider community. They wanted to bring music and music fans closer to their neighbourhoods and vice versa, encouraging interaction and mutual understanding. These efforts appear to have struck a chord: the first 'Shoten' video, in which Kanta Ando 's chill techno and house tunes soundtrack a morning's comings and goings at the Uoyou fish shop on Akabane's Suzuran-dori shopping street, has racked up over 12,000 views since February. Even more popular is the clip from April featuring Kiyoko spinning deep techno at Yotsuya kissaten Coffee Lawn, a local staple that's been serving up a largely unchanged menu of coffee and snacks for seven decades. In the video, the DJ's beats add an intoxicating touch to the venue's timeless atmosphere. has been releasing new The Shoten videos at a steady pace over the past few months, with six episodes available at the time of writing. In the two newest clips they've taken their show on the road, setting up the decks in a traditional rice storehouse in the city of Takayama, Gifu. With the team hoping to release interviews and documentaries as well as organise live events in the future, we'll be sure to keep a close eye on The Shoten from here on – and very much look forward to stumbling into the middle of a DJ set at our local lunch spot or neighbourhood bathhouse one day. Much of today's testimony was spent revisiting Diddy's March 2016 assault on Casandra Ventura, an incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles that was captured on security video and shown to jurors at the start of his trial. Eddy Garcia, the hotel's security supervisor, testified that Diddy and his team desperately wanted to get the sole copy of the video and prevent it from getting out. In exchange for $100,000 divided among members of the hotel's security team, Garcia said, he signed a nondisclosure agreement that called for his silence and the destruction of evidence. Here's what else to know about today's testimony: Garcia testified that he was so 'nervous' about the NDA that he didn't read it all before he signed it. Diddy presented stacks of cash in a brown paper bag, added Garcia, who said he bought a used car with his $30,000 share. Garcia also said he wasn't initially truthful to police when he was asked about the assault. On cross-examination, the defense pointed out the NDA didn't stop Garcia from speaking about it in legal proceedings, a line of questioning presumably intended to undermine the government's potential claim of obstruction of justice. After Garcia, Derek Ferguson, the former chief financial officer of Bad Boy Entertainment, took the stand to discuss the structure of Diddy's businesses and how money flowed. 🔎 The view from inside By Adam Reiss and Jing Feng For the first time during the trial, a spectator disrupted the courtroom decorum, prompting U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian to order court marshals to 'escort her out right now.' The uproar began before the jury was seated and Garcia took the stand. At first, both prosecutors and the defense team were discussing with Subramanian exhibits in the trial and whether to offer evidence of Diddy's jail calls. Prosecutors also complained to Subramanian that a person who had been in the courtroom Monday broadcast on YouTube the real identity of a government witness, who went by the pseudonym 'Mia' when she testified. Suddenly, a woman in the courtroom began shouting in defense of Diddy, including that 'it's not right what they're doing to him' and 'Diddy's innocent.' She was quickly removed. Prosecutors later told Subramanian that the true name and identity of 'Mia' were being reported and asked for him to ban the outlet that made them public from the court. He said he would consider such a court order. Tomorrow: Frank Piazza, a forensic video expert, and Bryana Bangolan, who alleges that Diddy dangled her over an apartment balcony, may testify. PSA: Every night during Diddy's trial, NBC's 'Dateline' will drop special episodes of the 'True Crime Weekly' podcast to get you up to speed. Scarlett Lee, 30, was found in possession of animated images depicting children being sexually abused. (Image: South Wales Police ) A paedophile was found with a folder of animated images depicting child sex abuse despite being made subject to a court order for the same offence. She also breached an order after using a different name to access social media accounts, after she had transitioned. Scarlett Lee, 30, previously known as Scott Henwood, was made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) in February last year when she was convicted of possessing a prohibited image of a child. She was made subject to a two-year community order, as well as sex offender notification requirements and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. ‌ A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Tuesday heard the defendant was living in support accommodation and on May 11 last year, a support worker cleaning her room noticed a message of a sexual nature on Lee's phone. For the latest court reports sign up to our crime newsletter. ‌ The worker notified her senior manager who spoke to the defendant, who then showed the manager an animated sexual image on her computer. Prosecutor Dominie Patel said Lee was asked if she had accessed the dark web, which she denied but she said: "There's probably stuff I shouldn't have on my laptop". The police were called and a number of devices were seized, including a PC tower. Article continues below An examination of the device revealed a folder containing 80 animated images depicting adults engaging in sexual activity with children. The defendant was bailed but on March 12 this year, she breached the SHPO she was subject to after using a name other than Scott Henwood to access a YouTube account. When questioned by police, the defendant said had changed her name to Scarlett Lee by deed poll, and believed the SHPO had been updated to include her new name. ‌ Lee, of The Parc, Bridgend, pleaded guilty to possession of a prohibited image of a child and breach of a SHPO. The court heard she has three previous convictions for breaching a SHPO and had previously been made subject to an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for two years. In mitigation, Bethan Evans said her client has a number of "personal difficulties" including her mental health, being diagnosed with autism and bipolar disorder, bullying and isolation. It was also said she has lost contact with her family following her "transition". ‌ Sentencing, the Recorder of Cardiff Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke said: "You have no regard for orders made by the court. You have a persistent interest in child abuse images, but you deny having a sexual interest in children or of understanding the SHPO." The judge added there was "no or little realistic prospect of rehabilitation". Lee was sentenced to a total of two years and four months imprisonment. Article continues below She will remain subject to sex offender notification requirements and the SHPO.
