Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke is 'overwhelmed and emotionally drained' as she's seen crying in public after wrestling icon's death
The wrestling icon suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at the age of 71 last month but, by then, Hogan had gone years without speaking to Brooke, 37.
Brooke initially remained silent in the wake of his death, before later taking to social media and demanding an autopsy on his body, as she came to terms with the news.
She then held her own memorial for the WWE legend last week after choosing not to attend the funeral with family and friends at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church.
Despite their estrangement, the death has taken a huge toll on the 37-year-old - with pictures this week emerging of an emotional Brooke walking through Orlando.
Now, a source close to the family has shed light on her situation and told the Daily Mail: 'Brooke is overwhelmed right now with everything.
'She has been receiving a lot more attention than the recent past, her father just died, so things are a bit off the rails right now.
'She hasn't been able to really digest it all. Also, we are days removed from what would have been her father's 72nd birthday.
'She is a very emotional person anyways, but all these things combined have made her have to dig deep in her feelings. She has been crying privately and publicly and it just hits her at different times.'
In the days before his passing, WWE superstar Hogan was able to reconcile with his estranged daughter over a 'tearful conversation'.
However, Brooke revealed she had felt her father starting to pull away - saying he no longer wanted support or advice from her, despite his health issues.
The source continued: 'Her husband and her kids have been such a support system. For all that she has lost, she has realized all that she has and all that she has had.
'She was so close to her father and all the feelings that come from that, especially since they were estranged for a bit before his death has put everything into perspective.
'Nobody is ready for when this happens, but dealing with it in the public eye with arguable one of the most popular people on earth is an interesting thing to go through. This isn't an act in any way, she is emotionally drained.'
Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, died on July 24 from a cardiac arrest, according to a Florida medical examiner's office.
Brooke announced last week that she had opted to 'privately' honor her father
The 71-year-old previously had leukemia and atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm, the report from the District Six Medical Examiner also said.
However, despite his previous health issues, Hogan's daughter Brooke took to social media in the days that followed to seemingly accuse the authorities of foul play.
She later backtracked from those claims via a social media post but insisted she still wanted 'answers' over her father's death.
Meanwhile, Hogan's son-in-law and Brooke's husband, Steven Oleksy, claimed the WWE icon had 'no interest' in meeting Brooke's twins prior to his death.
According to People, Oleksy said: 'I sent text messages once again to kind of gauge where he was at, but there was no interest.'
Reports back in April claimed that Oleksy had made several failed attempts to 'foster peace' with the wrestling legend.
Oleksy continued: 'She [Brooke] was there for every surgery leading up to the last two years. She would fly down on her own dime, take care of her dad, and it just made a lot of sense.
'No one understood his body, procedures, medications and everything else more than my wife,' he said.

Is Taylor Swift the modern day William Shakespeare? Pop star makes multiple references to iconic playwright on new album
Taylor Swift has made a number of references to iconic playwright William Shakespeare on her upcoming album, The Life Of A Showgirl. The singer, 35, released the cover and tracklist for her 12th studio album on Wednesday, while appearing on boyfriend Travis Kelce 's, 35, New Heights podcast. And notably, she made several mentions of the renowned 16th-century English playwright, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest writers in history. The Grammy winner alluded to Shakespeare with the opening song on her record as well as the album cover. Swift also revealed that she had to give Kelce a crash course on the plot of Shakespeare's tragedy, Hamlet, as he never read it. While showing off the vinyl to Travis and his brother and co-host, Jason, Swift — who has previously been praised by a Shakespeare scholar as 'a real poet' — shared that the first track is titled 'The Fate Of Ophelia.' Ophelia is a character from Hamlet. She is the love interest of Prince Hamlet, and tragically dies by drowning in a brook. Fans noted that Swift appeared to also reference the character in her cover artwork, which shows her almost fully submerged in water, in what looks like a bathtub. The imagery brought to mind the iconic 1851 painting by John Everett Millais, which depicts Ophelia floating in a river just before she drowns. After Swift announced the name of the first track on the podcast, her boyfriend jokingly asked his brother, 'Do you know what Fate of Ophelia is?' Meanwhile the singer looked at the athlete while smiling and asked, 'You want to talk about Hamlet?' 'I don't want to get Jason all riled up,' the Kansas City Chiefs tight end replied. Swift then told Jason that her boyfriend 'might not have read Hamlet' but that she 'explained it to him.' 'Don't tell my middle school English teacher I didn't read it. Because I definitely was supposed to,' the athlete quipped. After his brother poked fun of him, Kelce replied, 'It's alright, I watched the Lion King.' 'See, he knows what Hamlet is,' Swift concluded, referencing how the Disney animated musical was inspired by the play. Fans noted the similarities between the cover and Millais' painting The football star's brother was surprised by this, asking, 'Wait, Lion King is based off Hamlet?' 'Yes!' Swift exclaimed. Interestingly, Swift's former best friend, Blake Lively, 37, also once starred as a character named Ophelia in the film Savages. The two have fallen out in recent months, after Swift got dragged into the actress' legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni, 41. In one now infamous and toe-curling exchange, Lively appeared to refer to herself as the character Khaleesi – from Game of Thrones – and to Swift as one of her 'dragons.' The whole furor reportedly left Swift - who is godmother to Lively's three daughters – feeling 'exploited' by her pal of ten years. And it's possible Swift will address the friendship breakup on her new album, as another of the 12 tracks is titled 'Ruin The Friendship.' The singer also shared that the album was inspired by events happening behind the scenes in her life during the Eras tour. This is not the first time Swift has referenced Shakespeare. In her 2008 song 'Love Story', she famously alludes to the playwright by weaving a narrative that draws from his famous tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. 'You were Romeo, you were throwin' pebbles/ And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet,"' she sings. In 2023, Shakespeare scholar Jonathan Bate praised Swift's writing prowess, calling her 'a real poet' in an article from The Times. He also noted how Swift's songs have alluded to other famous authors, including William Wordsworth, Emily Dickinson, and Charlotte Brontë. Swift's inspiration is no surprise, as Shakespeare is widely believed to have been the greatest dramatist of all time, and Swift is considered by her fans to be a master of storytelling. Shakespeare's plays are studied for their timeless themes of love, betrayal, ambition, and revenge, and Swift's music explores many similar themes. The playwright continues to occupy a position unique in world literature as someone whose reputation transcends that of all other popular writers. He is credited with producing 39 plays, 154 sonnets and three long poems. His plays, the most famous of which include Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Othello, have been translated into every major language. They are performed thousands of times a year by actors all across the world and studied by millions of students. Meanwhile Swift's adoring fandom is anxiously awaiting the release of her upcoming record, which is set to come out on October 3 — just over a year and a half after the release of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. The album's cover art has a collage-like look as cropped, close-up photos of Swift's bedazzled body are used as a border. 'The Life Of A Showgirl' is spelled out in glittery orange lettering. The busty starlet stares stoically at the camera in the striking image captured by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who she last worked with on the album artwork for her 2017 album Reputation. She said she wanted to go 'all out' on the imagery for The Life Of A Showgirl because she is 'so proud' of the music. The Life Of A Showgirl marks a major musical departure for Swift as it is her first album in over a decade that will not feature production by her go-to collaborator and co-songwriter, Jack Antonoff. Instead, Swift confirmed she co-produced her new album with pop music heavyweights, Max Martin and Shellback.

Jenna Bush Hager tells Travis Kelce he'll never shake off wild party boy image
As the two-year mark of dating Taylor Swift publicly is fast approaching next month, Travis Kelce has received a stern warning from Jenna Bush Hager that he will never shake off his party-boy image. Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush, also has a past with trying to overcome the image of being a wild partier in the public eye. Less than three months after her father was sworn into office, Bush Hager was charged with a misdemeanor for possession of alcohol. In May 2001, while as a student at the University of Texas, she was busted with another misdemeanor, this time for trying to use a fake identification card. Both times, the sitting President's daughter pleaded no contest. Now, the 43-year-old co-host of 'Today', with sports broadcaster Erin Andrews as a guest panelist, heeded the warning to Kelce, 35, about his partying past in relation to his comments in his recent GQ article, even if he has the 'Anti-Hero' singer on his arm. 'He also talked about something, which I thought was hilarious. He talked about his partier image, and he said, "I'm starting to phase out of wanting to be known as the party guy. I have a good understanding of how I want to be portrayed,"' Bush Hager said. 'Can you relate?' Andrews replied to Bush Hager. 'Well, I just have to tell Travis something. Travis, I'll talk straight to you, my friend. I was also known as a party girl. Once a party girl or boy, always a party girl or boy. Sorry, Travis.' 'It kind of follows you around like a chaser, you know? And you gotta just stick with it.' Bush Hager, now a mother of three to children Mila, 12, Poppy, 10, and 6-year-old Hal, has spent enough time in the public eye to maneuver being just the Commander in Chief's bombastic daughter, to a mild-mannered, prototypical morning-show host. Kelce may need a little while longer to overcome some of the perceptions about him, especially as his mainstream popularity has never been at a higher level with the release of Wednesday's 'New Heights' episode, with Swift as a guest for the first time. 'That doesn't mean that's all of who he is, or all of who you are. But this is the secret to life: You can't worry about how other people think of you,' Bush Hager added. 'The big secret of life - and I try to talk to my girls about this - you can't worry about how other people see you.' 'People may see Travis as a party guy, anybody that knows him knows that may be one element, but he's a million different things. But the moment you stop worrying about how people see you is the moment you're free.' The Chiefs star welcomed his 14-time Grammy-winning girlfriend on the hit podcast he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce to discuss their relationship and to unveil the cover of her 12th album, 'The Life of a Showgirl', which will be released October 3. Swift and Kelce have been dating publicly for nearly two years in contrast of that perception Swift briefly broke down in tears as she opened up on her long battle to reclaim her masters. She also lifted the lid on her whirlwind romance with Kelce, her father's recent heart surgery and her epic Eras Tour. And the NFL star quickly went viral after showering his girlfriend in compliments and affection. 'I'm the luckiest man in the world,' Kelce said repeatedly. The couple finished the episode with a kiss, after he was also seen holding and stroking Swift's hand and even kissing her head - much to the anger of some of the 1.3million fans who tuned in for the live stream. Travis also gushed over his girlfriend during the near-two-hour show on Wednesday night. 'I give the Eras Tour credit (for our relationship) because if I had never gone to that show and been mesmerized and captivated and left with such a desire to want to meet you, I would never have gone on here and told everyone how butt-hurt I was,' Kelce said. 'I have never been just so engulfed in the curiosity of who you were.' Kelce also opened up on their first meeting, telling the 1million-plus fans watching: 'She makes me so much better... (to) see you on the stage and you see how crazy you can get an entire stadium going and then I get you in a room and it's like I've known you forever.

Travis Kelce does bizarre impression while girlfriend Taylor Swift suffers confetti gaffe
Travis Kelce pulled out a bizarre impression as his girlfriend Taylor Swift suffered a gaffe on the special episode of the New Heights podcast. The Kansas City Chiefs star welcomed his pop sensation girlfriend to his and brother Jason's hit show much to the delight of one million-plus Swifties - and football fans - across the globe. The songstress's highly-anticipated podcast debut celebrated her buying her masters back, discussed her newfound knowledge of the NFL and lifted the lid on Travis's surprise Eras Tour performance. But most importantly it launched the singer into her new 'era' as she unveiled the cover and track list of her 12th studio album, 'The Life of a Showgirl', which will be released on October 3. As Swift, sat next to her NFL beau, pulled out the record sleeve confetti dropped in a flourish around them with a stray bit accidentally finding its way into her mouth. The 'Fortnight' hitmaker was then caught puling the strands from her lips, sending Travis into hysterics. 'this is my favorite impression he does. it gets me every time. I will fall off the couch laughing at that' 🥹 — ariana ♫❤️🔥 (@tscrazier) August 14, 2025 'This is like when the cats taste something that they're confused by,' she told her boyfriend, who promptly began to stick his own tongue out. The tight end bizarrely continued to lick the air with a disgruntled expression on his face, seemingly imitating one of Swift's three cats. Swift owns two Scottish Folds, Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey, who she adopted in 2014 and 2011 respectively, and a six-year-old ragdoll called Benjamin Button. 'This is my favorite impression he does,' Swift said of Travis's cat impersonation. 'He says it's a cat ate something that it doesn't know what it is. That gets me every time. I will fall off the couch laughing at that.' However, it wasn't the three-time Super Bowl winner's cat acting skills that drew ire from the 1.3 million viewers who tuned in for the live premiere, it was his 'cringe' behavior. Swift briefly broke down in tears as she opened up on her long battle to reclaim her masters. The couple finished the episode with a kiss, after he was also seen holding and stroking Swift's hand and even kissing her head. 'New heights!?! more like new lows full of cringe,' one wrote. 'New Heights tswift release s*** is so cringey,' said a second. 'It's embarrassing. Travis Kelce is so very cringe,' said a third. 'Friendship ended with taylor swift this podcast is so f***ing cringe,' wrote a fourth. Another took aim at Swift, adding: 'I can't stand her or her boyfriend Travis Kelce' Those comments came after Kelce gushed over his girlfriend during the near-two-hour show on Wednesday night. 'It was the easiest conversation I ever had and it was just so much fun that it just knocked my socks off. She blew me away and I had never experienced something so mesmerizing on stage and then so real and so beautiful in person.'
