So, what is Maya's dating history? Here's everything you need to know.
The Hide and Seek hitmaker, 30, and Maya first met in October 2014 at the Red Bull Culture Clash and began dating the following January.
The famous couple went their separate ways in 2020, four years after becoming an item in 2016.
Maya and Stormzy – real name Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. – had tongues wagging after they reunited in November 2022 but at the time, Maya's team confirmed the claims they had reunited were unfounded and they weren't in a relationship.
In an interview with Louis Theroux on October 22, 2022, the Big For Your Boots rapper described the break-up as his 'biggest mistake.'
He explained: 'My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man. It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you.
'That's probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn't it? Away from someone passing away, that's the biggest loss you can have.'
Speaking about the early days of their romance in January 7, 2023, Maya shared: 'We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers. I was starting at MTV. He'd not even released a single at that point. We were just little babies.
She continued to The Sunday Times: 'I'm not naive to the fact that when you are a woman in the industry, most of the things that people want to talk about are your relationships. It's different for men. I'd seen that happen to other people. I don't think either of us knew it was going to be such a big thing.
'We were just: we're young and in love and we're going to go for it and work really hard. We're just together. We never really did red carpets. We didn't do any of that stuff.'
Maya and Ben Simmons enjoyed a whirlwind romance kicking off in the summer of 2021 – and were believed to have got engaged over Christmas a few months later.
The couple chose not to publicly speak out about their relationship or engagement, but Maya didn't deny the proposal when grilled about it by comedian Mo Gilligan when they hosted the Brit Awards in February.
Maya moved over to America, where the NBA player is based, but returned to the UK full-time when they split in August 2022.
An insider had earlier claimed: 'Maya called off the engagement after things came to a head last month.
'She is not going back to New York now. It's heartbreaking for both of them, especially as they were so committed to each other.'
Hold your horses, the Passionfruit hitmaker and Maya were not in a relationship, but he did mention her name in a track.
The rapper, 36, teamed up with Headie One on the track, and left fans stunned by his casual name drop of the MTV presenter.
'Chubbs might jam this yute for a chain,' he spits when freestyling the first line, before quickly adding: 'And gave it to a sweet one, called that Maya Jama.'
Although fans couldn't help but question what this meant for the duo, the star simply shrugged off the shout-out.
We're sure she was flattered though!
Maya was spotted rekindling the flame with her ex Stormzy, 31 in 2023. Rumours swirled after the star was seen milling around London's All Points East festival on the day of her former beau's headlining set.
After onlookers whispered about their private backstage chats, the pair of exes teased followers with cryptic holiday snaps that hinted they were vacationing as a couple.
Finally appearing to confirm they were well and truly back together, Stormzy gripped Maya's hand as the stars enjoyed a stroll in Greece.
Pictured stepping out hand in hand in Greece, the former lovers appeared happier then ever to have found each other again.
Unfortunately, despite being seen at various events together over the next year by July, the golden couple announced their split in a joint statement.
Explaining their relationship 'didn't work,' they wrote: 'We still think the absolute world of each other, we still care and respect each other, we are still grateful for the time we've had together, and we are still friends and will always be friends.'
Ruben Dias is Maya Jama's current beau. The Love Island presenter, 30, has been linked with the Manchester City defender, 27, for some time now, and it has been reported that they met at the European Music Awards (EMAs) in November.
The couple has been growing closer, and at the weekend, Maya was snapped supporting the footballer during his game at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
She was first spotted with Portuguese international player Ruben on New Year's Eve, and Maya even flew to Portugal to watch Ruben play a game in March.
The couple seemed to confirm their romance on April 28 as footage captured by The Sun showed the couple kissing at hugging while attendingYouTube personality KSI's Baller League football event at Copper Box Arena on Monday night. More Trending
Speaking about what she wants in a relationship these days, Maya revealed in an interview with the Standard in November 2024 that she's on the hunt for true love.
'I am so happy right now but the next person I meet I want to marry and have kids with, so obviously I'm feeling fussy. I've created such a nice life for myself alone and I don't want anyone who's not going to add to that'.
She continued: 'I'm in this lovely bubble and I don't want you unless you make me happy. If you're not, I kind of don't need you.
'One thing I've learned: some people are like, 'I'm lonely, I need someone.' But the mission in life is to make yourself happy, then find someone who brings something that matches that to the table.'

New Love Island bombshell Toni reveals crippling health battle that saw her rushed to hospital

LOVE Island bombshell Toni Laites has opened about her chronic health condition ahead of entering the villa. The American star, 24, is set to enter the Mallorca house as the first bombshell of this year's series – and is r eady to bag a British boy as she believes they're "more polite with better manners" than their American counterparts. 6 6 But ahead of entering the villa, Toni shared that she is also battling an illness that leaves her in agonising pain. She said ahead of entering the show: "I have ulcerative colitis. I had to go to hospital the same week as my senior prom. "They told me, 'You can't go' and then they said, 'Surprise, you're going to prom!' "Nothing that exciting happens in Connecticut, so it was a big deal and a few articles were written about me." "What I hope people see from me being on Love Island is that not all illnesses are visible," she added. "It doesn't have to hold you back, you can travel etc…I live my life day-to-day like anyone else." In 2018, Toni was taken to prom straight from the hospital at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, with the team looking after her making sure she was primped and primed for the event. She wrote a gold sequinned mermaid gown for the event, and posed with her doctors before going. The hospital later shared photos of her getting ready on Instagram, writing: "After spending a week inpatient for a flare up of #UlcerativeColitis, 17-year old Toni Laites of Newington was told she would be unable to attend her her team of doctors and nurses at Connecticut Children's banded together to grant her a therapeutic leave, giving Toni the opportunity to experience the Cinderella prom she always dreamed of." Toni has said she's entering the Love Island UK villa because dating in the States is "a mess" – particularly after moving from Connecticut to Florida and then Las Vegas, Nevada. "I live in cities that are fast-paced and party places; Las Vegas and Florida," she explained. "People are here for a good time, not a long time. I live in Sin City! "I do love Las Vegas. I've met some of the greatest people I've ever met there. I'm willing to relocate, it would just break my heart to not have my job anymore." She warns that her "icks" are bad breath, bad hygiene, and not being dressing appropriately for a date. Toni will enter the house this week, with the series kicking off on Monday night with Maya Jama welcoming this year's line-up to the villa. What is Ulcerative Colitis? Here's what you need to know about Ulcerative Colitis.. Colitis is a condition where the colon and rectum become inflamed. The colon is the large intestine, or bowel, and the rectum is the end of the bowel where stools are stored. Ulcers can develop on the colon's lining and bleed and produce pus. Ulcerative colitis is a form of colitis that is caused by autoimmune inflammation (the body attacking itself), whereas colitis can be caused by a number of factors including infection. Ulcerative colitis is similar to another condition which causes inflammation of the gut - Crohn's disease. Symptoms can often be very mild for weeks or months but flare ups with extreme symptoms can cause a lot of pain and trouble for sufferers. Find out more here. 6 6 6

Doctor Who fans in disbelief over 'disrespect' of iconic star Jenna Coleman

Fans of Doctor Who have been left in a state of disbelief at the 'disrespect' of former companion and viewer favourite Clara Oswald. This came as a special episode of the spin-off documentary series Doctor Who: Unleashed celebrated 20 years of the sci-fi drama's rebooted iteration. First airing on BBC One on March 26 2005, Doctor Who returned to screens after an absence of 16 years, introducing Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor, and Billie Piper as companion Rose Tyler. The rest, as they say, is history – and Doctor Who recently wrapped up its most recent series, with Ncuti Gatwa stepping down as the Fifteenth Doctor during a surprise regeneration. Looking back over 20 years of filming in Cardiff, last night's Unleashed paid tribute to Doctors and companions past. However, many fans were disappointed by one particularly glaring omission – namely, the curious absence of Clara Oswald, as played by Jenna Coleman. Clara was initially introduced as a companion to the Eleventh Doctor, as played by Matt Smith. First appearing in the Series Seven episode Asylum of the Daleks in 2012, Jenna's enigmatic appearance (playing one of three different people who shared a similar name, but the same face) turned into a full-time companionship under the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi). Clara departed the TARDIS in Series 9, with the 2015 finale Hell Bent being her last in a starring role. However, she did return for the Twelfth Doctor's final episode, showing up for a cameo in the 2017 Christmas special, Twice Upon A Time. As such, Clara is one of the rebooted Doctor's longer-serving companions… making her absence from this week's celebration seem particularly odd. 'I'm in utter disbelief over how little time was dedicated to the 12th Doctor's era in the new Unleashed ep, only a little under 2 minutes in an hour long special,' wrote DWfigurephotos on X. The user continued: 'The episode 'Blink' alone got more time dedicated to it than Peter's entire run! 🤦‍♂️ Also no Clara AT ALL?!' 'I know the Doctor temporarily lost all his memories of Clara, but it seems that the makers of Doctor Who Unleashed have forgotten about her completely,' said MrDavidEBrown. 'Is it just me or is it odd that the #DoctorWho Unleashed 20th Anniversary Special didn't even mention Clara. It just skipped over her completely. I can understand if Jenna Coleman wasn't available, but to not even mention or show the character seems really strange,' commented JovialVulcan. 'The whole time when Jenna Coleman played Clara, was skipped over. Her name not mentioned & only a glimpse of her from the distance in a scene from 'Deep Breath'. I wonder why that was?' said PayneNotes1. Also missing from the line-up was Series 3 and 4 companion Martha Jones, as played by Freema Agyeman. Surprisingly, Millie Gibson's Ruby Sunday didn't rate a mention either, although she did appear in the background during an interview with Ncuti and Varada Sethu. Former companions who were included in this love letter to Cardiff-era Who included Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill, who played Amy and Rory Pond during Matt Smith's run on the show. Representing Peter's time, Pearl Mackie also addressed her time as Bill Potts, while Jodie Whittaker's TARDIS-mate Mandip Gill provided some insight of her own. Catherine Tate may not have appeared in an interview, but showrunner Russell T Davies and the documentary did at least acknowledge her existence. Meanwhile, as the most recent companion, Varada joined Ncuti on the red carpet to discuss their stints on the show. As perhaps the Doctor's most well-known companion, Billie Piper joined David Tennant as they reflected on their time in the TARDIS together. Both have returned to the show since their exit, with David starring in three special episodes last year after (re)regenerating from Jodie's much-maligned Thirteenth Doctor. His three-episode return culminated in the show's first bi-generation – heralding the arrival of Ncuti Gatwa as the show's Fifteenth Doctor. More Trending In shocking scenes during this month's series finale, Ncuti stepped down from the show after only two seasons – apparently regenerating into Billie Piper as the episode ended. Whether Billie is actually the Doctor remains to be seen, but her return to the show has left fans worried for its future. View More » Amid rumours that David Tennant might come back (again!) some have suggested that the show is 'running out of ideas' and coasting on its past. Got a story? Love Island contestant who replaced axed star admits already breaking show rules

The latest series of Love Island is due to grace our screens on Monday night where a whole host of new contestants will try and find love A Love Island contestant who replaced axed Kyle Ashman has broken show rules after signing up. Conor Phillips is due to enter the villa on Monday night when the new series begins. The 25-year-old rugby player has been preparing for his island stint and even recruited a former islander for help. He has replaced Kyle Ashman who was originally meant to be going on the show but was sent home just days before the series launch after it came out that he'd been quizzed by police over an attack in February. ‌ Conor has now said that he spoke to former winner Greg O'Shea before flying out to Majorca to get some advice. However, islanders are not meant to reveal that they are going on the show beforehand. ‌ READ MORE: Zara McDermott shares 'unreal' £30 hair waver that's been creating her go-to summer hair Fellow Irish rugby player Greg won series five alongside Amber Gill. Conor said: "I know Greg through rugby circles so I spoke to him about going on Love Island. "He just said 'be yourself, it's a really really really cool experience that not many people get. So enjoy it and yeah take it day by day and if you can be yourself you can't really go too far wrong'. So that's my plan. He was like 'my advice might be a bit different from others because I won'." He added: "I'm 25 and I've only had one relationship and it wasn't very long. So I feel like I'm maybe doing something wrong or maybe I'm not in the right places. So, hopefully that this is the right place and it should be you know because you're in a lovely villa surrounded by beautiful people, so I'm hoping that this is the one." Kyle has since spoken out about why he was removed from the show. He said: "I fully co-operated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." ‌ It was reported that two masked people stormed a wake in Stafford and hacked at a dad with a blade. Kyle was one of two quizzed but was then released with no further action. It has been said that ITV were unaware of the incident which took place and was not flagged up when contestant checks were carried out. The 38-year-old victim nearly lost his arm and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and kept in for around two weeks. Another person who was at the wake was glassed while another was struck with a metal pole. Two more people were run over by a car during the 15 minute attack. Love Island returns Monday, June 9 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
