Ex-President Bill Clinton & wife Hillary ordered to give testimony regarding Jeffrey Epstein
FORMER US President Bill Clinton and wife Hillary have been subpoenaed to give bombshell testimony regarding Jeffery Epstein.
The House Oversight Committee - controlled by the Republicans - yesterday also demanded interviews under oath for eight former top law enforcement officials.

The Clintons have been called to appear before the committee in October along with Attorneys General Bill Barr and Jeff Sessions who served under President Trump during his first term.
The panel issued a subpoena to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for records related to Epstein in its investigation into the paedophile.
The effort also called for other high-profile Democrats with expected ties to Epstein to be subpoenaed.
Committee Chair James Comer announced the move less than two weeks after DOJ officials interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for trafficking underage girls.
She was moved to a minimum-security facility in Texas earlier this week.
Lawmakers say the probe could reveal connections to President Trump and other former senior officials.
The investigation kicked off after Trump faced backlash over a two-page memo which stated that no Epstein 'client list' exists.
It comes as the Justice Department, under Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, weighed whether to release the transcript of the closed-door interview with Maxwell.
The two-day interview, conducted last week in Tallahassee, reportedly focused on roughly 100 individuals connected to Epstein, with Maxwell's attorney saying she answered "every single question" under limited immunity.

Israel security cabinet backs plans to take over Gaza city in further escalation
Israel's security cabinet has approved a plan to take over Gaza City, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said early on Friday. The war has already killed tens of thousands of Palestinians, destroyed much of Gaza and pushed the territory of some two million Palestinians toward famine. Ahead of the security cabinet meeting, which began on Thursday and ran through the night, Mr Netanyahu said Israel planned to retake control over the entire territory and eventually hand it off to friendly Arab forces opposed to Hamas. The announced plans stop short of that, perhaps reflecting the reservations of Israel's top general, who reportedly warned it would endanger the remaining 20 or so living hostages held by Hamas and further strain Israel's army after nearly two years of regional wars. Israel has repeatedly bombarded Gaza City and carried out numerous raids, only to return to different neighbourhoods again and again as militants regrouped. Today, it is one of the few areas of Gaza that has not been turned into an Israeli buffer zone or placed under evacuation orders. A major ground operation there could displace tens of thousands of people and further disrupt efforts to deliver food to the territory. It is unclear how many people reside in the city, which was Gaza's largest before the war. Hundreds of thousands fled Gaza City under evacuation orders in the opening weeks of the war, but many returned during a ceasefire at the start of this year. Israel already controls around three-quarters of the devastated territory. Palestinians in Gaza desperately appealing for aid (Image: AP) Families of hostages held in Gaza fear an escalation could doom their loved ones and some protested outside the security cabinet meeting in Jerusalem. Former top Israeli security officials have also come out against the plan, warning of a quagmire with little added military benefit. An Israeli official had earlier said the security cabinet would discuss plans to conquer all or parts of Gaza not yet under Israeli control. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity pending a formal decision, said that whatever is approved would be implemented gradually to increase pressure on Hamas. At least 42 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes and shootings across southern Gaza on Thursday, according to local hospitals. Asked in an interview with Fox News ahead of the security cabinet meeting if Israel would "take control of all of Gaza", Mr Netanyahu replied: "We intend to, in order to assure our security, remove Hamas there, enable the population to be free of Gaza. "We don't want to keep it. We want to have a security perimeter. We want to hand it over to Arab forces that will govern it properly without threatening us and giving Gazans a good life." Israel's military chief of staff, Lt Gen Eyal Zamir, warned against occupying Gaza, saying it would endanger the hostages and put further strain on the military after nearly two years of war, according to Israeli media reports. Of the 42 people killed on Thursday, at least 13 were seeking aid in an Israeli military zone in southern Gaza where UN aid convoys are regularly overwhelmed by looters and desperate crowds. Another two were killed on roads leading to nearby sites run by the Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, an American contractor, according to Nasser Hospital, which received the bodies. Library user borrows rare Chinese artwork, returns fakes
A California library user who allegedly took home rare Chinese manuscripts and returned fake ones in their place has been charged with $216,000 worth of theft, US officials have said. Jeffery Ying used a number of aliases to get access to classics works, some over 600 years old, at the library at the University of California, Los Angeles, the Department of Justice said. Mr Ying, 38, would check the works out and return days later with dummy manuscripts. He would frequently travel to China shortly thereafter, charging documents say. "The library noticed that several rare Chinese manuscripts were missing, and an initial investigation revealed the books were last viewed by a visitor who identified himself as 'Alan Fujimori,'" the DoJ said. When detectives raided the Los Angeles area hotel where Mr Ying was staying, they found blank manuscripts in the style of the books that had been checked out. "Law enforcement also found pre-made labels known as asset tags associated with the same manuscripts that could be used to create 'dummy' books to return to the library in place of the original books." Libraries allow rare, one-of-a-kind works to be examined on site; they are not permitted to be taken home like regular paperbacks. Mr Ying, from Fremont, in the Bay Area, was also found to have a number of library cards in different names. If convicted of the charge of theft of a major artwork, Mr Ying, who is being held in state custody, faces up to ten years in federal prison. China is home to one of the world's fastest-growing art markets, with a booming number of state-sanctioned museums as well as a lively private market, as an increasingly wealthy and nationalistic middle class looks to claim the country's cultural heritage.
