The third round of fan voting for Survivor 50 opens on April 16 during the eighth episode of Survivor 48, titled "A Rift Between All of Us," which begins airing at 8 p.m. ET.
CBS has confirmed to Gold Derby the three new questions and descriptions up for grabs this time around. They encompass vastly different aspects of the game we all love: design, survival, and strategy. Remember, the yet-to-be-named cast members who take part in Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans won't know which options viewers picked until they actually arrive on the island.
More from GoldDerby
1. Individual Immunity Necklace
"Time for another design element! Which individual immunity necklace would you like to see in Survivor 50?"
2. Tribe Supplies
"Give them their supplies or make them earn them?"
3. Twists
"The right twist at the right moment can change the game for players in exciting ways. But some fans prefer a more straightforward game where strategic alliances are all that matter. Which are you?"

Seasons 49 and 50 will film back-to-back this summer and begin airing in September 2025 and February 2026, respectively. The golden anniversary cycle will consist of all-star players that "represent the entire series," Jeff Probst has confirmed.
For the first time ever, as the In the Hands of the Fans subtitle suggests, "our loyal fans will take control — deciding key elements of the game, from twists to idols to advantages," the host/showrunner added. "I can't wait to see what the fans choose for our returning players!'
To date, the following questions/topics have already been voted on by viewers: "Tribe Colors," "Rice or No Rice," "Final Four Firemaking," "Vote Reveal in Los Angeles or Fiji," "Final Four Challenge," "Advantages," and "To Switch or Not to Switch."
Earlier this week at a Q&A in Santa Monica, Probst declared, "It's fun to watch the tallies come in," referring to the previous voting rounds. "I nervously click the link and I go, 'Please be something fun.'" He urged people at home to vote for options that will "let the players play."
While the 50th installment is still a year away, the 48th edition is airing now. After last week's double elimination of Cedrek McFadden and Saiounia "Sai" Hughley, there are still 10 players in the running to win the $1 million prize: Chrissy Sarnowsky, David Kinne, Eva Erickson, Joe Hunter, Kamilla Karthigesu, Kyle Fraser, Mary Zheng, Mitch Guerra, Shauhin Davari, and Star Toomey.
