Kindness never goes unnoticed. Whether big or small, it has a positive impact on the recipient and can make a difference in their day or even their life. Recently, a small act of kindness by a senior management staff member, belonging to Kerala, at a local Dubai clinic won hearts after he helped another Indian origin man when he felt sick.
He stated that Dubai is regarded as one of the best cities in the world, not just for its government amenities, but also for the wonderful people who live there.
Indian Man Praises Dubai
In a video shared on Instagram, the Indian-origin man shared he went to a clinic after feeling sick and couldn't find any water dispensers that dispensed hot or warm water. Finally, he approached someone from management and asked for assistance.
The user went on to mention that he was surprised when the person, who was in a managerial position and from Kerala, requested him to be seated and got him warm water from the pantry.
Touched by the management's kind gesture, he said, 'Main kaise bhool sakta hun yaar. Literally, bande ne dil jeet liya. Suit pehn kar banda mujhe paani garam karke de raha hai (How can I forget this? Literally, the guy has won my heart. Wearing a suit, the guy prepared hot water for me)."
Indian Man Highlights Dubai's Civic Sense
He added that a nation's greatness is determined not just by its government facilities, but also by its citizens' civic sense and consideration.
He continued, 'Humare India mein hota to koi ketha 'are yaar main thodi, jaao dekho'. But this is Dubai, isko logon ne bhi Dubai banaya hai, sirf yahan ki Government ne nahi (If this had happened in India, then someone would have said, 'Why should I? Go and see yourself.' But this is Dubai, people have also made it Dubai, not just the government here)."
The man concluded the video saying, 'I think India mein bhi ye chiz karna chahiye. So thank you, thank you so much for helping me. Jab bhi mauka mile zaroor kisi ki help karein (I think this should be done in India as well. So thank you, bro, thank you so much for helping me. Whenever you get a chance, please help someone)."
Apart from its modern architecture, luxury shopping, thrilling adventure activities and vibrant nightlife, Dubai is often praised for its high civic sense to maintain cleanliness and law and order.

On the first day of operations, passengers were visibly impressed, and social media buzzed with admiration. How did X users react? Several users shared photos and videos of the station, with one calling it 'absolutely brilliant' and another joking that Mumbai should be 'envious.' Others praised the design as being on par with metro stations abroad, a rare exception in India, where many believe corruption and poor planning often lead to substandard public infrastructure. Many users credited the station's impressive quality to the involvement of the private sector, arguing that partnerships like these are the way forward. Some even suggested a hub-and-spoke model for future metro planning, with stations designed and maintained in collaboration with nearby workplaces. Alongside all the praise, there were also earnest appeals from citizens urging fellow commuters to help maintain the station's cleanliness and not tarnish its look by spitting or littering.'My fellow Indian brothers and sisters, please don't spit here or throw garbage. Let's keep it as beautiful as it is today.' The Yellow Line is expected to significantly ease commute times for residents and tech workers traveling across South Bengaluru. On day one, footfall was steady, and the overall response, both online and on-ground, suggests this stretch could set a new standard for urban transit infrastructure in the city. Indian Navy Undertakes First-Ever Submarine Rescue Seat Certification For Friendly Foreign Navy

Last Updated: Certification was carried out for South African Navy, paving way for implementation of the Submarine Rescue and Cooperation Implementation Agreement. The Indian Navy successfully undertook the first-ever Submarine Rescue Seat Certification for a friendly foreign navy, marking a significant milestone in international naval cooperation, officials said on Tuesday. The certification was carried out for the South African Navy, paving the way for the implementation of the Submarine Rescue and Cooperation Implementation Agreement signed between the two navies in September 2024. The Submarine Rescue and Cooperation Implementation Agreement was signed by Indian Navy chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, and Vice Admiral Monde Lobese, Chief of the South African Navy, on September 3 last year. This agreement enables the Indian Navy to provide rescue assistance to South African Navy submarine crews in the unfortunate event of distress, by deploying the Indian Navy's Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV), they said. The certification process involved rigorous training and evaluation, demonstrating the Indian Navy's commitment to enhancing maritime safety and operational readiness. The successful execution of this certification marks a new chapter in the strategic partnership between India and South Africa, reinforcing their shared vision for a secure and prosperous Indian Ocean Region, officials said. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
