Police look for car stolen from Brighton, Vermont
BRIGHTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Vermont State Police are looking for a car that was reportedly stolen from Brighton Monday.
The vehicle, a 2010 Kia Forte, was taken from Curran Avenue. This grey car has the license plate number KTZ763.
Anyone with information about this situation can call VSP at 802-334-8881.
Local and state police have previously reminded Vermonters of numerous ways to keep their cars secure, such as parking in well-lit areas and not leaving valuables behind.

Temple SWAT Team Called to Residence
Temple, TX (FOX 44) – The Temple SWAT team was called to the 200 block of South 25th street due to an individual barricading themselves and to others in their home. Around 2:53 Saturday afternoon, Temple Police conducted a felony warrant service for parole violation for a felony assault offence for 44-year-old Mathew MacMann. MacMann and the two individuals in the home refused to cooperate with police and instead barricaded themselves in the home. After police efforts to get the individuals to exit the residence the Temple SWAT Team was called to the scene. SWAT Team negotiators made contact with MacMann and learned there was a canine inside the home prompting the call to Temple Animal Control who safely removed the canine. At around 6:26P.M., the two individuals exited the home leaving MacMann as the only person inside. SWAT then used chemical munitions and surveillance technology to search the residence. Upon the preliminary search, MacMann was not located, which lead officers to use a K9 to deepen the search. The K9 alerted offers to the attic and after surveillance tech was used, MacMann was found. Midway softball claims 6A D-1 State Championship
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 44) — Midway avenged last season's runner-up performance by dominating Clear Springs 9-1 to clinch the 6A D-1 title. The Panthers have been on a mission all season long and that showed once again, with the Panthers jumping out to a two-run lead in the thanks to a RBI singles from Lanee Brown and Amaya Locke. In the third Inning, Midway exploded for five run two-out rally that took advantage of multiple walks and two errors. Peyton Phillipp earned the games MVP by tossing a complete game with 11 strikeouts while only allowing one run to cap off a monumental season. Jonesboro repeats as 1A State Champions
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 44) — The Lady Eagles are staying atop the 1A mountaintop for the second-straight year, rallying to take down Brookeland and defend their first ever state championship from a season ago with a 9-8 win on Saturday morning. The Lady Eagles came out of the gates hot, taking a five-run lead in the top of the third. Brookeland didn't back down, slowly chipping away at the lead in the next two innings to tie the ballgame at five before taking an 8-5 lead in the fifth. Jonesboro responded in the next frame, with back-to-back doubles from Ally Thorman and Ella Gustin helping give the Lady Eagles the lead right back, 9-8 heading into the bottom of the sixth. Ally Thorman held it down in the circle from there, allowing just one hit in the final two innings and getting the final out to clinch back-to-back state championships for the Lady Eagles. Ella Gustin finished as 1A State MVP, going 2-4 with 3 RBI's on the day.
