We've all heard stories of some of the craziest classic cars to ever be found within the confines of a barn, abandoned warehouse, or field before. Everything from classic Hemi 'Cudas to beaten-up old Chevys has been rediscovered and given new life by the brave enthusiasts willing to go where no one else will. However, it isn't every day that you see someone come across a mass of classic cars by buying the entire lot. Yet, that is precisely what this new owner did, and now he's got 85 different classic cars to choose from. While he may have bought the land for the farm, he got something so much more valuable.
Right up front, you'll notice a lineup of 1940s Fords and Chevys sitting next to each other after having just been moved. Judging by appearances alone, it's likely that these have been sitting for decades. Of course, not a single car in the lot is in perfect condition, but there is a rumor that one of the vehicles, a 70s lincoln continental, has been kept in enclosed storage for most of its life in a separate building. Apparently, this fascination with the car came from a movie the owner watched called "The French Connection," He fell head over heels. Since then, the vehicle has remained one of the only vehicles on the lotto that does not have visible signs of decay or rust.
It's quite a funny sight to see a bunch of cranes and forklifts picking up the bodies of old forgotten ford sedan and chevy coupes to a new home. Many cars actually had to be cut out of their place due to a massive sum of trees and roots growing up from underneath them. This happens to the old cars we all see lying around in abandoned lots in various states of decay. While it's almost sure that some of these cars will probably be scrapped, we hope that the majority of them find good homes with enthusiasts who will restore and customize them to their liking. We may one day see this fleet of forgotten Chevys, Fords, and Dodges up and running once again.

Rad! 2026 Ford Mustang FX Package Remasters 1980s-Era Fox Body
The so-called "Fox body" Ford Mustangs, the third-generation cars built from 1979 through 1993, are enjoying a sort of nostalgia-driven renaissance in interest these days. Unsurprisingly, this is because those who were young when the Fox bodies were on sale are now older, maybe with some extra cash and spare garage space to start collecting these Mustangs off-lawn, so to speak. How "in" are Fox bodies these days? Ford is even getting in on the action with a new FX package that celebrates the Mustang defined by the 1980s. This isn't the first time Ford has dipped into Fox-body lore lately, either—when the current Mustang arrived for 2024, its digital gauge cluster even included a setting that recreates the Fox body's old-school analog gauge pack. The FX package takes the nostalgia a lot further, of course, with white badges, white wheels, retro "Mustang" lettering, and more. It's available only on the Mustang GT Premium trim level, on both the coupe and convertible, and with or without the Performance package. It Ain't Real If It Ain't Teal Ford doesn't choose just any white paint for the FX package; since all things Mustang must treat time like a flat circle, everything you see painted white is, specifically, painted Oxford White, a hue that was available on the original Mustang. It's used for the "GT" badges, wheels, retro "Mustang" sticker on the rear glass (coupe only), and the "nostrils" in the grille on Performance package variants. There are two wheel designs and both evoke classic Fox body designs, with the version you see here adopting a slick turbofan style. The other version—for non-Performance-pack cars—is a classic five-spoke. Both wear color-matched center caps bearing "Mustang GT" lettering in what Ford says is a new font (that happens to look like an old, Fox-body font, but who's keeping close track?). Oh, and speaking of paint, the FX package introduces a new-for-2026 paint color (which also will be available on other '26 Mustangs): Adriatic Blue Metallic. Put simply, it's a rad teal color (pictured here)—what could be more Fox-body-era than that? Another new paint color this year is Orange Fury Metallic. It has no specific history linked to the Fox body, it's just worth mentioning since it hasn't been offered on the Mustang since 2019. Pivotal Digital Setting aside how blown peoples' minds would have been if, in the 1980s, their Fox body Mustangs came with the sort of digitized dashboard that today's Mustang gets (FX package included), Ford has put some effort into backdating the FX's interior. Plaid-like seat inserts do a lot of the heavy lifting here, but remember, there's always that Fox body gauge cluster option. Less obvious is the Dark Alley interior trim borrowed from the Mustang Dark Horse model, as well as subtle blue stitching and a "Mustang GT" badge on the passenger-side dash. Ford hasn't outlined the FX package's price yet, but mentions that order books for the 2026 Mustang lineup overall open in later in June 2025. We'll surely find out then how much this retro FX package (and the Mustang overall) costs. But if you want to rock out with your 1980s out in a new-generation Mustang, you should definitely peep this one.

The answer is, of course, more affordable gas models and EVs — and some are finally here or on their way, including the 300-mile-plus, $35,000-ish Chevrolet Equinox EV, even cheaper and still great gas Chevy Trax, Ford's Maverick, and the forthcoming new-generation Nissan Leaf. Even Tesla's promising something cheaper, sometime. But what if someone were to go, like, really, really cheap? We're talking cheap to buy and cheap as a sort of lifestyle, a low-buck aura that cuts through modern cars' and EVs' expensive stigmas — we're talking, of course, about a potential small hatchback inspired by one of the worst cheap cars ever made: a new Yugo. Only this time, it won't be produced by an Eastern European former arms manufacturer or (so far) based in any way on an existing Fiat design. Word began spreading earlier this year that a professor, Dr. Aleksandar Bjelic, had taken over the Yugo name — and was working on resurrecting the infamous hatchback for modern times. The first concept has now debuted at the 2025 Car Design Event in Europe, and we're getting our first peek at Serbian designer Darko Marčeta's work. Color us surprised that the new Yugo, as it's being referred to, hews closely to the original's severely boxy, traditional hatchback shape. It goes beyond even today's boxiest vehicle on sale, Hyundai's Ioniq 5, itself inspired by (better) 1980s hatchbacks, even adopting a forward cant to its nose like that of the 1981 Yugo. Autos designed to offend: These are the 10 dumbest cars of all time Other classic Yugo details are present, as well, from the way the hood line kicks up above the headlights before leveling out until the base of the windshield, to what we can only describe as feigned panel misalignment. Look closely at the way the door cuts into the rocker panel elements on the scale model's bodyside, or how the flat-seeming front bumper abruptly is cut along each front corner's vertical boundary — it's sort of a mess. You see, the original Yugo was notoriously poorly built, to such a degree that matching that "charm" would take actual effort with today's manufacturing improvements. Maybe the designer intentionally set a bunch of body cut lines in conflict with one another to give a slightly schlubby appearance in line with the frumpy original. Or maybe we're getting too conspiratorial over a 1:5-scale model that isn't even a full-size concept car. It would compete with other mini hatches in Europe, as we suspect it's not coming here, but never say never. A larger, apparently working prototype, is promised later this year. Yugo — the new one — is apparently seeking larger automakers to partner with, likely for sharing running gear and other components. We mentioned already that the new Yugo could be an EV, but apparently the backers are hoping to make the hatch a multi-powertrain vehicle, one offering gas engines — including maybe a turbo option — as well as an all-electric variant. We don't want to get too nostalgic, here, but it bears noting that a certain Italian brand once associated with the original Yugo has just such a multi-powertrain, small car that it'd surely love to get more scale from: the Fiat 500e. A new-age Yugo based on the Fiat 500e, which soon is being adapted to support gas powertrains? That'd be too easy.

Not a week will go by without one of the world's major automakers suffering a recall of some sort - that's just the nature of mass production - but Ford may be, once again, having a harder time than most. The Blue Oval has just announced a new recall for the compact Maverick pickup, affecting 63,898 vehicles. The root of the problem lies in retaining clips for the airbag indicator light, which "may be loose or dislodged," according to the NHTSA recall documents. Fortunately (or unfortunately, if you're affected), the recall only extends to 2025 Maverick trucks; if earlier models were also affected, we'd be talking about a six-figure recall. Ford will notify owners via mail by Monday, June 9, 2025. However, that's only to let them know about the recall. A second letter will be mailed once the remedy is available, which means Ford is still working on a fix, or at least, it doesn't have the new retaining clips in dealer inventory yet. Regardless, the fix won't cost owners anything. It should be noted that this recall shows no signs of arresting or otherwise affecting the actual airbag system, so the truck should still be safe to drive. Recall number 25C17 refers, if you want to know more. While this is certainly a minor issue, it's one of many that has affected Ford of late. Nearly 1.1 million vehicles were affected by a rearview camera issue this week, and 1.3 million F-150s with potentially faulty transmissions were recalled a little more than two months ago, with several others in between. Stellantis recently recalled nearly 49,000 Alfa Romeo Tonales and Dodge Hornets over a backup camera issue. That's 49,000 units across two brands, with the former starting around $38,000 and the latter around $30,000. The Maverick is even cheaper at $28,145 before destination and handling, and that's remarkable. This isn't a jointly developed crossover; it's an all-Ford pickup, yet it's cheaper, and a small, understandable oversight in quality control for its latest 2025 model still affected roughly 15,000 more vehicles than the abovementioned Stellantis recall, despite that issue concerning 2023-2025 Tonales and Hornets. Basically, what we're saying is, Ford's big recall numbers are just proof that it still sells a ton of vehicles that Americans love in numerous segments, so from that point of view, the recalls that the manufacturing industry will always face are something of a badge of honor for Ford. In fact, Ford sales surged 16% last month as buyers try to avoid potential future price hikes from tariffs, so America still loves the Blue Oval, despite the occasional lapse in quality.
