Scarlett Johansson Says She Asked For Her ‘Thunderbolts' EP Credit To Be Removed: 'I Wasn't Involved'
Scarlett Johansson says she had nothing to do with Thunderbolts and asked her credit to be removed.
In a new interview, the Avengers star said she requested her name not be in the credits of the Marvel film.

Johansson and Thunderbolts star David Harbour had a sit-down for Interview where he noted that their exchange was taking place on opening day for the Marvel movie.
Harbour tells Johansson her Black Widow character was 'all over this movie' and asked if she had seen it.
'No,' Johansson replied.
Harbour then said, 'Okay. You are an executive producer on it. Congratulations.'
Johansson then clarified, adding, 'I asked to have my credit removed because I wasn't involved.'
'You hated the movie that much?' Harbour joked, to which Johansson replied, 'No, you're just wanting that to be the case.'
Harbour told his Black Widow co-star that she would 'be proud of us,' with Johansson saying, 'I am proud of you.'
Johansson made her MCU debut as Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) in 2010's Iron Man 2 before starring in 2012's The Avengers. The star went on to be one of the core cast members of the Marvel superhero team-up, ending her time in the MCU with the Black Widow prequel that was released in 2021.
Thunderbolts occurs years after the events in Black Widow, where Harbour plays Alexei Shostakov, the Red Guardian, and Florence Pugh plays Yelena Belova, Black Widow's adoptive sister.
After the release of Black Widow, Johansson sued Disney, saying in the lawsuit that the release of the film day and date on Disney+ and in theatres was a breach of her contract. The lawsuit contends that the Disney+ release siphoned potential theatergoers, costing her potential compensation tied to the movie's theatrical revenue.
The bitter profits lawsuit was settled months later, with Johansson saying, 'I am happy to have resolved our differences with Disney. I'm incredibly proud of the work we've done together over the years and have greatly enjoyed my creative relationship with the team. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in years to come.'

David Harbour Says It's A 'Relief' That He's Almost Done With Stranger Things
David Harbour has admitted that a part of him is happy that Stranger Things is coming to an end. The Emmy nominee has played chief of police Jim Hopper in all four seasons of the hit Netflix sci-fi series, and will make one final outing in the role later this year for its fifth and final run. As part of a conversation with Scarlett Johansson for Interview magazine, David was asked whether it was 'a relief' that the last season of Stranger Things is almost here at last. 'When I started I loved it so much,' he responded. 'Buddies of mine who'd done TV shows for many years said, 'By season three or four you'll be running'. And I was like, 'Never! I love all these guys so much'. And then you get to a certain point where you're like, 'How much more story is there?'. 'You're having to play a lot of the same beat, and there's a feeling where you're like, 'I want to take a risk. I want to do something that people haven't seen me do before'. So yeah, after 10 years, it's like, 'Okay'.' Scarlett then said she felt similarly about her decade-long stint as a key figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Black Widow star recalled: 'Some of the films that I did for Marvel engaged my character more than others. [In some] films, the cast was so enormous and there was so much plot to serve that you start to feel like you're a device to move it along. 'And if you're committed to five and a half months of that, it's like, 'Okay. I can't paint my nails, I can't get a haircut'. These sound like silly problems, but your identity is wrapped up in this job for a long time, and if you're not doing engaging work as an actor, you feel a little cagey sometimes.' 'It's the same thing with this show,' David agreed. 'There'd be certain seasons where you feel like, 'I'm going to go in this different direction'. But as you say, a piece of your psyche is occupied with this group of people and this storyline.' The final season of Stranger Things has been hit by several roadblocks (most notably the Hollywood strikes of 2023), which means it's now been three years since fans' last trip to Hawkins, Indiana. However, Netflix finally confirmed last week that the first 'volume' of Stranger Things' final season will debut at the end of November, with two more drops following on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. David previously said the script for season five was 'terrific', insisting that creators The Duffer Brothers 'continue to outdo themselves'.

Dakota Johnson recently joined a special club of sorts after her Marvel superhero movie, 'Madame Web,' was panned by critics and audiences alike. Johnson ended up winning a Razzie for Worst Actress for her role in the flop earlier this year. But luckily, she had an A-list pal to help her through the embarrassment. 'Recently, I actually exchanged texts — well, I got a voice note — from Sandra Bullock. I know, because I don't know if you know, but I won the Razzie for Worst Actress,' Johnson said during an appearance on Amy Poehler's new podcast, 'Good Hang.' 'Oh, my God, you did? Congrats!' Poehler said, adding, 'There's a lot of good people that have won that.' Johnson joked that she won the award for 'this really good movie, called 'Madame Web.'' 'I asked if they'd send [the Razzie] to me,' Johnson said of winning the award. 'But Sandra Bullock sent me a voice note being like, 'I heard you are in the Razzie club and we should have brunch ― we should have, like, a monthly brunch.' Because I guess she won that the year that she won the Oscar as well. It was in the same year, I think.' Jameela Jamil stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday night for the world premiere of Disney and Pixar's new film 'Elio,' in which she voices the character of Ambassador Questa alongside costars Zoe Saldaña, America Ferrera and Brad Garrett. For the special occasion, she chose to do her own glam, opting against using a makeup artist to create a cat-eye aesthetic to go with inky black micro bangs. YSL Beauty's Setting Powder was added on top for her 'nerves,' as well as the Nars powder blush in shade Gina, Benefit's Hula Bronzer and roller liner, Charlotte Tilbury setting spray and Pat McGrath Mascara. 'I hate false lashes and I don't need to use them when I use this mascara,' Jamil noted. 'The absolute game changer in my makeup is my Haus Labs Bio-Radiant Glassy Highlighter Balm, which gives you instant glass skin even if you have the face of a dehydrated foot,' she added. For her bouncy blowout and wide curls, Jamil partnered with hairstylist and wig designer Terrie Owen.
