Disney has dropped some new photos from it's upcoming film Tron: Ares , and they offer a first look at Evan Peters as the film's villain, Julian Dillinger.
The third entry in the Tron franchise. following 1982's Tron and 2010's Tron: Legacy , is finally surfacing after years of development, and Peters' character appears to be stirring up trouble on both sides of the digital divide.
Julian Dillinger, as the name suggests, carries a heavy legacy. Speaking at D23, Peters teased the connection: 'Dillinger doesn't always mean great things for those on the grid.'
One of the newly released images also shows Julian alongside a character played by The X-Files star Gillian Anderson, who portrays Julian's mother, Elisabeth. In Empire magazine, Anderson opened up about the tension in their dynamic:
'Having a son that behaves in the way that Julian does, and trying to deal with his actions, both emotionally and logistically — it adds a level of stress and strain to their relationship.'
The film's official synopsis sets the stage: 'A highly sophisticated Program called Ares is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind's first encounter with A.I. beings.'
Directed by Joachim Rønning ( Maleficent: Mistress of Evil ) and written by Jesse Wigutow, the movie brings back Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn and introduces Jared Leto as Ares, Greta Lee as Eve Kim, and Jodie Turner-Smith as Athena.
Tron: Ares hits U.S. theaters on October 10, 2025.

The TV host questioned the push by Johnson to award the 19-year-old the Medal of Freedom.

MAGA YouTuber Benny Johnson dedicated a segment of his show on Thursday to rage against Jen Psaki after the MSNBC host called him out on her program. Johnson claimed Psaki had a 'hysterical meltdown' live on air while discussing the topic of Edward 'Big Balls' Coristine. He also claimed his comments 'broke' her. At one point, the YouTuber played memes of Psaki, including dancing to one with her head on Gwen Stefani's body parodying the 'Hollaback Girl' video. The outburst came after Psaki on Wednesday criticized Johnson's appearance at a White House press briefing to criticize crime in D.C.

3 underrated Netflix shows you should watch this weekend (August 15-17)

Based on the way it promotes its biggest shows, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Netflix is really only home to a handful of shows worth watching. If you dig beneath Stranger Thingsand Wednesday, though, you're likely to find that Netflix is also home to plenty of shows that have simply never gotten that same level of attention. Just because they were never that popular, though, doesn't mean they aren't worth checking out in their own right. We've pulled together three underrated shows that are well worth your time and are all available on Netflix right now. Recommended Videos We also have guides to the best new shows to stream, the best shows on Netflix, the best movies on Hulu, and the best movies on Amazon Prime Video. Crashing (2016) Before Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jonathan Bailey were major stars, the two of them co-starred on Crashing together. Crashing is like Friends, if they were more aware of the economic realities of life in a big city. It follows six roommates who find themselves living together in part because of limited other options, each of whom ultimately comes to realize that they need to take more responsibility for their futures now that they are no longer in school. Crashing is anchored by the chemistry of the cast, which obviously included a couple of big-name talents. You can watch Crashing on Netflix. Legends of Tomorrow (2016-2022) During the height of the Snyderverse, Legends of Tomorrow was a reminder that there were many different ways to tell DC stories. Although this show starts out fairly self-serious, it quickly morphs into something much lighter on its feet. Because they travel through space and time, this band of heroes and villains are often finding themselves in fairly ludicrous situations, and that's part of the fun. Ultimately, though, Legends of Tomorrow works because the central characters feel like a family, and the show understands the chemistry they have. You can watch Legends of Tomorrow on Netflix. American Vandal (2017-2018) One of the silliest shows in the history of Netflix, American Vandal is a brilliant dissection of true crime documentaries that still holds up almost a decade later. The show is a mockumentary set first in a high school and follows students who become obsessed with investigating who defaced a teacher's car with a drawing of genitalia. The hilarious American Vandal transforms into a surprisingly profound examination into the way certain students can be dismissed by everyone. Not only from their classmates, but also from their teachers, who are meant to support all students in their quest for success. You can watch American Vandal on Netflix.

Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce's Body Language On 'New Heights' Suggests These 4 Key Things About Their Relationship

Taylor Swift just appeared on boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, New Heights, sharing that she was dropping a new album. The two-hour recording showed rare footage the two sitting side-by-side as they chatted with Travis' brother, Jason Kelce. A body language expert helps Women's Health break down the subliminal messaging between these two lovebirds. Taylor Swift's appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast on Wednesday night almost broke the Internet, with the episode already having been viewed more than 9.5 million times already. And it was everything Swifties dreamed of: A two hour candid convo with Queen Tay, footage of the pop star snuggling up with Travis, and lots of insider details about her newest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, dropping October 3. Taylor was funny and relatable throughout the recording (she's in her sourdough era! She's getting Travis' nieces comfortable with cats! She is still learning about football!), and the world got some fascinating, new insight into her relationship with Travis. The two sat close together during the interview, holding hands, sharing plenty of laughs and a few subtle kisses, and seemed to be totally vibing together. The pop star shared stories that show how ingrained each of them are in each other's lives, joking with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce like they were old friends and revealing that she was actually at Travis' house when she learned that she was able to purchase her master recordings. In fact, Travis was "weeping' alongside her when he learned the news, Taylor said. Meet the expert: Patti Wood is the author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma. Throughout the interview, Travis cheered Taylor on, saying that she's the 'smartest woman in the room' and declaring, 'I'm the luckiest man in the world," while Tay cheekily responded "...says her boyfriend." To outsiders, it appears as though Taylor and Travis are very in love and have a supportive relationship. But their body language actually holds some pretty telling signs about what's going on between the two, according to expert Patti Wood. Here's what she can tell you, based on the way they're interacting in the podcast episode. They're functioning as a cohesive unit. While these two had to be in the same frame for the podcast taping, Wood points out that their mics were positioned in a way that they could have their own space if they wanted it. Instead, Taylor and Travis chose to have their bodies overlap. 'Overlapping is an indication that the couple wants to be seen as a single unit,' she says. Wood also notes that sometimes Taylor's shoulder would be front; Other times, Travis' shoulder would be in front. 'That's a good thing—there's a power balance,' she says. Whichever one of them was behind at any given moment would also often lean into the person in front, suggesting even more support, according to Wood. Travis adores Taylor, and she's precious to him. There were a few stolen kisses in this episode, including one moment where Travis gently kissed Taylor's open palm after she touched his face. 'That's very sexual and also adoring,' Wood says. 'It's a sign of how precious Taylor is to him and how much he adores her. It's quite lovely.' They're very playful and comfortable together. This couple were incredibly relaxed and laughed a lot together, but there were a few times where Taylor cradled Travis' face in her hands and said something like, 'you're so handsome." In response, he made a jokingly posed smile. Wood calls this a 'calm, playful response' that suggests they've done this little song and dance before. 'It's a little exchange that they do for each other that indicates they're doing well together,' Wood says. She points out that many couples have one person who tends to be more of the 'receiver' of compliments, 'but they both do it and they're both stars,' she says. Travis is happy to let Taylor shine. The episode was entirely centered around Taylor, and Travis seemed happy to keep it that way. He and Jason let her have the floor without interrupting, and rarely spoke over her. Several times, Travis and Tay shared a sweet, mirroring gaze—where they met each other's eyes and had a similar smile—while also holding hands or with their arms overlapping. 'It tells me that they're doing a good job with each other,' Wood says. 'This is the longest interview they've had and it's really about her. That tells me Travis is very emotionally secure. He was giving her compliments the entire time.' Wood says this photo is a sign that these two are a good fit. 'They're doing good for each other,' she says.
