Anton Danyluk, 30, subsequently returned for Love Island: All Stars last year.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared a selection of photos with captions discussing Ozempic.
Weight loss jabs have taken the world by storm - having allegedly helped celebrities including Sharon Osbourne, Elon Musk and ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson to slim down.
Anton penned: "Ozempic will make you fatter than ever before....
"Ozempic suppresses your appetite - but it doesn't teach you how to eat, how to stay consistent or how to keep the weight off.
"So the minute you stop? The cravings return. The weight creeps back. And you're right back at square one - or usually worse."
He added: "If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need more than a quick fix.
"You need a plan that fits your life. One that teaches you how to eat, train, stay on track - and enjoy the process."
The ex-islander also shared his thoughts in the post caption, writing: "You don't need another quick fix.
"You need to stop falling for the same BS in a different bottle."
Love Island's Anton Danyluk reveals staggering 19lbs weight loss in just six weeks
Last year, the star opened up about losing £100,000 in the "biggest mistake of his life".
During the coronavirus lockdown, Anton controversially followed many other influencers and jetted out to Dubai on 'work' trips.
After arriving in the UAE , he splashed out on both an expensive Bentley car and a fancy apartment on the famous Palm.
Anton also ploughed £100,000 into a new business venture, which he hoped would make him millions.
In his native Scotland, the ex-islander explained in a video: "After Covid, I got invited on an influencer trip to Dubai.
"As soon as I got there, I absolutely fell in love with the place - and I never came home.
"I bought myself a Bentley, I bought myself an apartment on The Palm and I was absolutely living the dream.
"Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there."
Anton elaborated how he invested £100,000 in a "gym concept", with plans to open a "nightclub gym".
'Godzilla' of fat jabs
Dr Mitra Dutt, a GP from Lloyds Pharmacy Online Doctor, says: 'Mounjaro works by activating two hormonal receptors (GIP and GLP-1), which enhance insulin production, improve insulin sensitivity and work to decrease food intake.'
Saxenda, which contains the active ingredient liraglutide, is another weight loss jab that's been available on the NHS since 2020.
While Mounjaro is hailed as the "King Kong" fat jabs, a new weight loss drug dubbed "Godzilla" looks set to displace it.
Containing the active ingredient retatrutide, slimmers trying the drug lost up to 29 per cent of their weight in less than a year.
By comparison, trial results showed semaglutide, known as Ozempic, could lead to 15 per cent weight loss and tirzepatide, aka Mounjaro, to 23 per cent.
Retatrutide acts on three different receptors in the brain, 'turbocharging' calorie burning while dulling hunger pangs.
Existing weight-loss jabs only suppress appetite, whereas the new treatment also speeds up metabolism.
The new drug is still undergoing clinical trials so it's not yet known if it will be made available on the NHS.
He said: "Everything that we did went wrong.
"It took over a year for us to launch with us putting loads of money into this concept. On top of that, on the day of launch, the place flooded.
"Myself and my business partner had massive disagreements and it was just an absolute flop.
"This was the first time in my life that I'd made a bad business decision and it cost me massively."

Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa issues heartfelt message to fans after shock exit

Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa has shared a sweet statement on social media after exiting the Tardis. The 32-year-old actor gutted (and surprised) fans after regenerating into returning star Billie Piper at the end of his season two finale on Saturday night after a dramatic conclusion to his and Belinda's eight-episode arc. This meant that after only two seasons, much to the dismay of Whovians everywhere, we had to say goodbye to his Doctor after only 16 episodes and two-and-a-half specials. Especially since his exit from the show was not announced beforehand – as is usually the case when one Doctor is set to leave – it made it even more of a plot twist. In an official Instagram post he shared images with his two companions Ruby Sunday and Belinda Chandra (Millie Gibson and Varada Sehtu) Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. There aren't quite the words for how much you both mean to me but I am so grateful I got the opportunity to work, learn from and laugh with you both everyday. You're both just simply incredible and it has been nothing short of a blessing to share this journey with both of you. Ruby Sunday and Belinda Chandra will live in mine and the Whoniverse hearts forever. Also shout out to the CAPTAIN of all 15's companions. Captain Poppy. Ultimate top dog of this season! (lil Sienna brought so much life and magic to us all on set ) I love you guys. We did it After the official BBC Doctor Who actor uploaded a picture of Gatwa as the Doctor in the Tardis with the caption of two broken hearts (as a nod to the Time Lord's unique physiology) and a fire emoji, the Sex Education star reposted it on his Instagram story. He added the caption: 'Thank you for it all, 15,' with a rocket emoji. The episode also involved his former companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) who shared her own farewell message on Instagram of the image of the two of them across their shared episodes. 'Nothing can put into words the experience we've shared. I am forever grateful to have been a part of it and watched you bloom into the fabulous Doctor the world has got to know and adore. You have made this incredible character even more special with who you are and how good you wear clothes. 'You're my forever friend and doctor and I'll be here cheering you on watching you on your further successes with every new companion you meet along the way ;) More Trending 'Thank you for taking me to the stars. Love, Ruby roo,' she wrote. Gatwa also reposted this, saying: 'My Ruby Roo.' Elsewhere in the heartbreaking finale, he shared a scene with 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker adding that it 'was beyond a flipping honour and joy to work with legendary Jodie'. JoJo Siwa says Chris Hughes feels like family and her mother ‘adores' him

Former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa has said TV host Chris Hughes feels like family, adding that her parents think the 'absolute world' of him. The two met in the ITV1 Celebrity Big Brother house, growing close during their time on the reality show, claiming their relationship was 'platonic'. Advertisement Since leaving the house, they have been seen together and recently shared photographs of them together on Instagram, suggesting they are in a relationship. View this post on Instagram A post shared by JoJo Siwa (@itsjojosiwa) Siwa, 22, told Channel 4's Sunday Brunch: 'She (Siwa's mother) does love him. My parents think the absolute world of him and him and my dad are like best friends. 'Chris was actually telling me that yesterday they went to the spa together. They're literally best friends. 'Mum, she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us because I've never seen my mum so happy. Advertisement 'It feels like we're a family. It feels like he's been in my family for however many years. It feels like they just all get along as well as I do. 'I think there will definitely be a lot more time spent here, and I think from him as well, a lot more time spent over there, but we both have families, you know, on either end.' The 22-year old singer is known for her songs Karma and Guilty Pleasure, which she released in 2024, while sports presenter Hughes, 32, appeared on the third season of the ITV reality TV series Love Island. Speaking about her decision to join Celebrity Big Brother, she said: 'I didn't even question a yes or no. I knew it wasn't even a question. It was an immediate yes. Advertisement 'I think for me, growing up on reality TV, it almost feels like a little bit of home to me, and it just feels like it's just fun. 'And right before I went in, I told my mom, I was like, I think this is gonna be the best thing I've ever done. And she's like, what do you mean? And I was like, I don't know, something tells me, like for my personal, like for my life, it feels like it's gonna be the best thing I've ever done and by a landslide it has been. 'Being on Big Brother you're captured 24/7 so for people to just get to see the real me was something that I wasn't sure how to share, essentially on my own, I guess I wasn't brave enough to share it.' The Celebrity Big Brother final saw Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd crowned the winner. Advertisement Siwa placed third on the ITV1 reality show while Hughes came sixth.

Dani Dyer indulges in her wedding cake with new husband Jarrod Bowen as pals including Georgia Steel watch her tie the knot in a slew of snaps from lavish 'Bridgerton-themed' ceremony

Dani Dyer has given her followers a glimpse at her lavish 'Bridgerton-themed' wedding, as she tied the knot with footballer Jarrod Bowen on Saturday. The former Love Island winner, 28, was supported by pals including Georgia Steel as she exchanged vows with the West Ham United star at the outdoor ceremony. And in a slew of snaps and clips Dani reposted on Instagram, many of her friends and loved ones danced the night away at the glitzy wedding. Georgia stunned in an elegant yellow lace dress as she posed with her boyfriend, Ipswich Town footballer Harry Clarke. The star went onto share a cute image of the moment she embraced Dani as a newlywed, posting the snap on her Stories with a white heart emoji. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. One sweet image showed Dani's children, son Santiago, four, who she shares with ex Sammy Kimmence, and twins Summer and Star, two, who she shares with Jarrod, glancing out the window, while their grandfather Danny Dyer watched on. After Dani and Jarrod exchanged their vows, the couple were quick to indulge in their huge wedding cake, with the happy couple seen lifting a huge slice in a fun video, while guests watched on. With a live band to offer music at the reception, Dani switched her £10,000 wedding gown for a fun lace mini dress as guests danced the night away. Dani and Jarrod tied-the-knot in a lavish 'Bridgerton-themed' wedding ceremony, with the star stunning in elegant off-the-shoulder designer gown by Suzanne Neville for the outdoor ceremony. White rose petals lined the aisle, with floral sculptures and candles creating a stunning backdrop which the bride and groom shared a kiss in front of. Taking place in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Dani and Jarrod were joined by 50 of their closest friends and relatives. She was walked down the aisle by her father Danny, who had promised his daughter that he would keep his speech clean. An insider told The Sun: 'Danny and Jo were very emotional about Dani getting married. She was their first born and she was there through all the highs and lows. 'They couldn't be more proud and they love Jarrod like a son. Danny walked her down the aisle. Jo joked that they should both do it but they're keeping it traditional. 'Jo made sure Danny's speech wasn't outrageous.' The source added that their wedding gift to their daughter was paying for her hen do and her £10,000 dress. Dani and Jarrod's two-year-old twin daughters were flower girls, with her son Santiago, four, and brother Arty, 11, as page boys. Guests chanted rude West Ham anthem, 'Bowen's on fire and he's sh***ing Dani Dyer,' to the 1997 hit Freed from Desire. And Dani's sister Sunnie, 18, read a poem from Sex and The City wedding scene, which went: 'His hello was the end of her endings. Her laugh was their first step down the aisle. His hand would be hers to hold forever. His forever was as simple as her smile. He said she was what was missing. She said instantly she knew. She was a question to be answered. And his answer was 'I do'.' Days before the ceremony, Dani opened up about the touching role her dad Danny would play in her wedding to Jarrod. She told of how her father and beloved EastEnders star would walk her down the aisle in a moment that would be 'filled with emotion'. Speaking on their joint podcast, Live and Let Dyers, Dani revealed she was keeping her wedding dress a surprise from her dad until the big day to honour a special tradition. 'Have you not seen that first look when the dad sees their daughter in their dress and that? Oh, it's lovely,' she shared. 'Yeah, your dad's not meant to see it – it's a moment for the dad as well!' Dani has had a whirlwind few months, filled with two lavish hen parties and all the excitement of getting ready for her big day. Speaking to Heat magazine earlier this week, Dani said: 'I have finally done my table plans now. Until you are in there writing names out, making sure you have tables of 10, it's the most stressful experience ever - that's the only thing I've not enjoyed.' Dani also revealed she will take on a double-barrell surname after the wedding, becoming Dyer-Bowen. She said: 'I am going to keep the Dyer - I am going to do Dani Dyer-Bowen just because of my work. I feel like if I am Dani Bowen, it takes that thing away from me. We are double-barrelling it.' The wedding will undoubtedly be an emotional day for Dani's father Danny, with the reality star saying he and West Ham star Jarrod are very close. 'We've joked so many times that Jarrod is marrying the wrong Dani Dyer!' she said. The mother-of-three added she has really enjoyed the build up to the big day, which included a recent hen night in Ibiza with her pals. Sparing no expense with her lavish nuptials, the bride-to-be shared a glimpse of her wild celebrations on Instagram, which included a boozy brunch, a boat trip and a raucous night in the lavish nightclub Ushuaia. Dani and Jarrod have been dating since 2021 and share twin two-year-old daughters Summer and Star, while Dani also has son Santiago, four, with her ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence A source told The Sun that Dani really splashed the cash during her hen celebrations, including a VIP night at Ushuaia that cost at least £8,000. The insider said: 'Dani might have flown on a commercial flight but they splashed the cash when they landed. 'She spent Friday night at Ushuaia where they were on a VIP table with a minimum spend of £8,000. The next day they hired a boat to go around the coast before spending the rest of the time chilling at the Hard Rock hotel. 'Dani also had a boozy brunch at Beso Beach where her mates put on Jarrod masks and sang ABBA songs with her. 'They spent their last night at super club Hï Ibiza where they had a VIP booth. There were some sore heads when they touched down at City airport.' Meanwhile, Jarrod jetted off to Las Vegas for his stag do as he prepared to marry the Love Island star. Ahead of the stag, Dani admitted her fears over Jarrod's trip, with her dad Danny joking that there would be strippers. Discussing the plans for the hen and stag parties, the daughter and father duo butted heads over one racy topic. Explaining the timeline on their Live And Let Dyers podcast, Dani explained: 'I literally get back from my Hen on the Monday and then I get married on the Saturday. And if you can go, Jarrod gets back Thursday and then married Saturday.' That's when Danny cheered and shouted out: 'Strippers!,' much to his daughter's dismay. 'No, you're not,' insisted Dani, who went on to explain that at a different Hen she attended, they had a butler in the buff. Dani said: 'We had to draw him, we had to draw the naked man. It's different, it's so different. I don't care.' Not giving in, Danny quipped: 'It's sexism this, this is sexism at its height ladies and gentlemen.' The former Love Island star replied: 'It's not sexist, I'm just saying he was literally standing there in his apron and then you had to draw him. Then he turns around and straddles the chair.'
