Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa issues heartfelt message to fans after shock exit
The 32-year-old actor gutted (and surprised) fans after regenerating into returning star Billie Piper at the end of his season two finale on Saturday night after a dramatic conclusion to his and Belinda's eight-episode arc.
This meant that after only two seasons, much to the dismay of Whovians everywhere, we had to say goodbye to his Doctor after only 16 episodes and two-and-a-half specials.
Especially since his exit from the show was not announced beforehand – as is usually the case when one Doctor is set to leave – it made it even more of a plot twist.
In an official Instagram post he shared images with his two companions Ruby Sunday and Belinda Chandra (Millie Gibson and Varada Sehtu)

'Twas an experience like no other and thank God we were by eachothers side. There aren't quite the words for how much you both mean to me but I am so grateful I got the opportunity to work, learn from and laugh with you both everyday.
You're both just simply incredible and it has been nothing short of a blessing to share this journey with both of you.
Ruby Sunday and Belinda Chandra will live in mine and the Whoniverse hearts forever.
Also shout out to the CAPTAIN of all 15's companions. Captain Poppy. Ultimate top dog of this season!

After the official BBC Doctor Who actor uploaded a picture of Gatwa as the Doctor in the Tardis with the caption of two broken hearts (as a nod to the Time Lord's unique physiology) and a fire emoji, the Sex Education star reposted it on his Instagram story.
He added the caption: 'Thank you for it all, 15,' with a rocket emoji.
The episode also involved his former companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) who shared her own farewell message on Instagram of the image of the two of them across their shared episodes.
'Nothing can put into words the experience we've shared. I am forever grateful to have been a part of it and watched you bloom into the fabulous Doctor the world has got to know and adore.
You have made this incredible character even more special with who you are and how good you wear clothes.
'You're my forever friend and doctor and I'll be here cheering you on watching you on your further successes with every new companion you meet along the way ;) More Trending
'Thank you for taking me to the stars. Love, Ruby roo,' she wrote.
Gatwa also reposted this, saying: 'My Ruby Roo.'
Elsewhere in the heartbreaking finale, he shared a scene with 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker adding that it 'was beyond a flipping honour and joy to work with legendary Jodie'.

Stevenage woman gives unwanted Plushies a new lease of life
A card-shop owner says she wants people to "see cuddly toys in a different light" after launching a scheme to smarten up second-hand Sorrell, 58, was inspired to start the Preloved Plushy Project at her Stevenage shop Cardies after noticing how many were being discarded."I was seeing some going to charity shops, and because they were marked or grubby, the charity shops couldn't do anything with them and had to throw them away," she said."I'm a big recycler and upcycler, so I'm keen to find a new love-life for lots of things – one man's rubbish is another man's treasure," she told the BBC. She explained her secret to restoring the toys so they looked nearly-new."A lot of people make the mistake that they just wash the teddy bear, and it gets all matted," Ms Sorrell said."I wash it and leave it to dry thoroughly, and then use [a] brush to bring it back to fluffiness."I've got labradors, and there's a specific dog brush with very fine pins that teases the undercoat."It's a slicker brush and it does a similar thing with the cuddly toys. Of course, I don't use the same brush that I use on my dog!" Ms Sorrell explained that she had already been able to match up donations with keen owners."We had a couple of lads come in and their mum said they were looking for Super Mario characters," she said."There was a giant sack of washed toys we hadn't sorted, so we rummaged through it and found two Super Marios. They went away very happy!"Another lady tagged them on social media, saying she worked with young people and one would be thrilled to have an Eeyore toy."Funnily enough, an Eeyore appeared the next day in one of our bags, as if by magic."Ms Sorrell hopes people beyond Stevenage will start doing the same thing to prolong the life of soft toys."I'm keen that other people should take this idea up and see cuddly toys in a different light," she said."It's also just presenting them differently – rather than a box of sad-looking teddies in the corner – [to] make them look appealing." Some rare coins can sell for an absolute fortune online, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's got the correct price tag. So how do you spot a 50p worth £15,000? It's no secret certain change can hold a mega value, whether it's three £1 coins worth hundreds or a "super rare" 50p coin that could sell for £40,000 online. Over on Instagram, user @CoinCollectingWizard, who boasts 31,000 followers, revealed how a Paddington Bear piece was listed for an eye-watering £15,000 on eBay. But despite seeing that hefty price tag on selling websites, it doesn't necessarily mean it's worth that staggering amount at all, so how can you tell the difference? The post read: "£15,000 for a Paddington Bear 50p?! Let's find out more... "You've probably seen the headlines or eBay listings claiming someone's selling a Paddington Bear 50p for £15,000... But is it really worth that much?" He added: "No. Not even close." Speaking in the post, the coin expert revealed how these pieces are made in huge numbers, especially the 2018 and 2019 versions showing Paddington at the Station, the Palace, the Tower and St Paul's. "They're fun to collect, but... Anyone can list a coin for any price on eBay," the expert continued: "That doesn't mean it's actually worth it, or that anyone will ever pay it." So how can you tell if it's worth that amount? Paddington Bear 50p coins are worth their value, but in some cases can go for a couple of pounds. Even the newest and shiniest standard collection coins have numerous scratches and marks, but The Royal Mint issue specifically struck collector quality "Brilliant Uncirculated" coins which are guaranteed not to have the scratches and chips.

Jessie J targeted by vile trolls after sharing heartbreak over Hamas hostage video
Jessie J, who this week spoke candidly about her ongoing health struggles following recent surgery for breast cancer, received a torrent of online abuse after an Instagram post Jessie J faced a torrent on online abuse after she shared her sadness at footage of an Israeli hostage captured by Hamas. The singer, 37, called images of emaciated Evyatar David "heartbreaking" as he was forced to dig what appeared to be his own grave. She wrote on Instagram: "I just cannot bear the evil in this world. Please, God, make the suffering end." The Brit Award-winning musician also included a quote from a pro-Israel activist in her post to her 14 million Instagram followers. However, trolls targeted the star, who was recently rushed to hospital with an infection weeks after breast cancer surgery. The abuse comes after Katie Price recently worried her fans on Instagram with a family photo. Following her post, Jessie, from Chadwell Heath, east London, was branded a "disgusting Zionist" while another troll called her a "terrorist and baby killer supporter" among the sickening barrage of abuse. Another vile troll claimed she was trying to keep her "Zio bosses happy". The musician, who has had three UK number one singles, had referred to a hostage who was abducted by Hamas during the October 7, 2023, massacre at the Nova music festival. He has been held in Gaza for the 668 days since then. In addition to her own thoughts, mum-of-one Jessie included a quote from the poem, which read: "I thought images of starved Jews digging their own graves would forever be confined to history books. To see the past become present is a horror. Never Again. Again." Some, though, showed the Londoner their support, thanking her for bringing the horrors to the attention of social media users. One person posted: "Thank for speaking out about the actual horrors going on." Another said: "Thank you for your bravery in speaking out against the treatment of the starving hostages." It was another emotional post from the star, famed for tunes such as Domino and Price Tag, following ones about her health battle. After she was rushed to hospital weeks after her cancer operation, Jessie J joked: "Apparently it's called… Dramatic? I think that's the spelling. My symptoms are the same and no idea what's wrong yet. But my sarcasm and sense of humour are holding on." Filming herself for what she called her first "real‑time" update since her operation, Jessie admitted: "I think people think I'm hanging on by a thread… which in some moments has felt that way." The singer added: "Like two or three days ago when I woke up and I couldn't breathe. I still have pain in my chest when I breathe, but it's not as bad."
