General Hospital Recap: Laura Finds Money Missing From Ace's Trust
General Hospital Recap: Laura Finds Money Missing From Ace's Trust originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's General Hospital recap: Ric checks in on Liz and they discuss the Nurses Ball. Laura stops by, surprised to see Ric, but Liz reassures her. Laura thinks Ric has been keeping tabs on Liz and knows Lucky's coming and going. Liz swears she's set boundaries with Ric but his presence still upsets Lucky. Laura is certain Lucky never fell out of love and is happy they're back together. Liz says she's not sure if it's enough, if they can make it work. Laura hopes Lucky is happy here but wants them to figure out what's right for them. Alexis has a meeting with Lucky and Kristina to discuss the night her daughter tried to kill Ava. She says if the police investigate, Kristina will go to prison, and she wants all the details. Kristina explains about being at the scene and while she was in the background, Lucky points out the police's body cam might show her there. Kristina says she told Dante that she saw the smashed up car. Lucky says the only thing incriminating Kristina is the car and thought she was in the clear when the mechanic told him the car was gone. Kristina asks if Alexis can see a way out of this. Alexis says the problem is the car since there is proof that the brake lines were cut and Ava and Ric have the upper hand. Alexis thinks maybe she can get them to turn on each other and warns Kristina to stop being impulsive. Carly tells Curtis that the custody hearing is starting today (is it June 2nd already?!!) and would like Curtis' help. Carly says Drillow are accusing Michael of abandonment (and asks him to have Aurora remind the public that Drew is a con artist which might sway the jury in Michael's favour. Curtis says he can't do it because it could backfire. He says Michael is the majority shareholder and Drew could end up looking like a victim. Curtis says he's working on something else. Curtis tells Portia that he can't help Carly because of Drew's blackmail over her. Portia tells him about Jacinda but doesn't think Drew can track her down. She questions why Tracy was arrested for drugging Drew and Curtis figures he planted the ketamine. Portia says there is no evidence of her involvement, because the ketamine would get traced to Brad. Curtis says they need to find Jacinda. Michael asks Sasha if the kids can stay with her during the hearing but Sasha says Ric called her as a witness. He wonders if Ric knows about the paternity, but Sasha doesn't think so. Sasha wonders if she'd told Michael about the fourth of July kiss, if he could have worked it out with Willow and not gotten to this point. Michael says he was desperate to make Willow happy and never got to know the real her. Nina tells Ava that she got information that would help Willow get full custody but doesn't want to use it. Nina tells her about figuring out that Michael is Sasha's baby daddy and Ava wonders why Nina hasn't told Willow. Nina says she loves Sasha and exposing her baby daddy would be a betrayal. Nina also believes that if Willow gets full custody, she'll never leave Drew. She says Drew wants to bring the kids and Willow to DC and she'll lose them. Nina thinks it's better off if Willow doesn't get full custody. Ava tells her to do what she can live with. Emma wakes up alone and worries that Gio ditched her, but he returns and tells her that she's the only one that he trusts. He's upset about all the phone messages he's been getting from everyone and doesn't believe everyone's concern. He says knowing he's related to all of them doesn't change things and that he doesn't want fake relationships with anyone. Gio wonders if Sonny knew the truth since he's friends with Lois and it would explain him paying for his musical education. Gio mentions Camilla, but Emma says she loved him as his mother. She says Camilla taking him at her lowest point gave her a reason to keep on going. He agrees that Camilla was his mother, but Brook Lynn is the one who gave him away. Emma asks where they're going now, but Gio says he needs answers and that they need to go back. Lois overhears Brook Lynn on the phone with Anna then asks whether Gio and Emma are together. Brook Lynn tells her that she doesn't have the right to ask. Lois just wants to know if Gio is okay, but Brook Lynn says he took off with Emma. When Lois asks about tracking Gio's phone, Brook Lynn gets angry and says Gio needs space. Brook Lynn accuses Lois of betraying her trust, but Lois says she did what she thought was best. Lois says Camella just wanted to raise Gio and Lois found a good family for him. Brook Lynn says she asked for a closed adoption and instead grew up living down the street from Gio and interacting with him. Lois says she didn't want to send the baby away and could keep an eye on him. Brook Lynn says she was an adult when Camilla died but Lois says she couldn't add to Gio's grief by telling him then. Lois says she gave Brook Lynn her freedom which was the right thing to do. She says Brook Lynn would be a different person now had she been told about Gio after Camilla died. Brook Lynn is angry Lois made the decisions and can't help Gio through this because he doesn't trust her. Brook Lynn says Gio doesn't want anything to do with her, and she doesn't want anything to do with Lois, as Gloria shows up and chastises her. Laura tells Alexis she was looking over Ace's trust and there seems to be money missing. Lucky tells Liz he knows more about her car accident that he let on. Ric asks Nina if she's ready to testify as to what she saw when everyone found out about Drew and Willow's affair. He asks if she has something else to add. Keep checking back for the latest General Hospital recaps! This story was originally reported by Daytime Confidential on May 31, 2025, where it first appeared.

General Hospital spoilers: Ric makes a discovery that shocks Carly?
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. In the General Hospital episode that aired on May 14, Drew (Cameron Mathison) called Ric (Rick Hearst) over to his home, feeling Ric was the perfect person to represent Willow (Katelyn Irene MacMullen) in a custody battle against Michael, well, really against Carly (Laura Wright). When Ric asked about Martin's (Michael E. Knight) previous strategy with the case, Willow noted that Martin had previously hired a private investigator to dig into Michael, but nothing was found. Ric lauded his ability to find things Martin couldn't. This raised our eyebrows, because there are indeed a few things to be found if Ric looks hard enough. If Ric's grandiose prediction about his abilities rings true, we suspect he may learn about Michael's baby with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). This closely guarded secret has been flying under the radar in Port Charles, largely because Jason (Steve Burton) has stepped up to claim paternity at Sasha's urging. Outside of Sasha, Jason, Michael and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), no one knows about Michael's forthcoming baby. Instead, most people believe that Michael is a poor, innocent husband who was cheated on by his wife with his uncle, and he's done nothing wrong. While Michael is indeed the victim of his wife and uncle's affair, he also had an affair with Sasha and impregnated her in the aftermath. Although there's an argument to be made that Michael and Sasha wouldn't have cheated had Willow not slept with Drew, to a family court, a judge may not be in such a rush to condemn Willow for extramarital activities with Michael, having done the same. A point, Ric may bank on if he learns of the baby secret. Now Ric being Ric, he'd likely drop this bombshell news in open court before a judge during a custody hearing. He'd want to create a big spectacle to catch Diane off guard. As an officer of the law with knowledge of the truth, it would be hard for Diane to counter Ric's news without perjuring herself, putting her law license in jeopardy in the process. And for giggles, Ric would probably love to see Carly's head explode from not knowing she has a grandchild on the way and that her bestie Jason has been lying to her for months. Although the baby secret is likely the one Ric discovers if he does find one, there's always a chance that Ric somehow learns that Michael covered up for Sonny (Maurice Benard) when he murdered John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) instead. Ric could easily blackmail Michael or Carly to drop the suit for full custody in exchange for Ric not turning his nephew in for being an accessory after the fact to murder. As of publication, Ric learning of a big secret that impacts the custody battle between Willow and Michael is just a theory. However, we can't help but think Ric representing Willow could be a game-changer. New episodes of General Hospital air on weekdays on ABC. If you miss an episode, you can catch up on Hulu.

General Hospital spoilers: Sonny learns a bombshell that leaves him furious?
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The week of May 19 has already proven to be quite explosive on General Hospital, and the 2025 Nurses Ball just kicked off. Pre-ball, Carly (Laura Wright) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) literally had a knock-down fight in Carly's living room, which honestly was one of the best scenes for the soap in a while. Then, on May 20, as Port Charles residents took to the Nurses Ball, Tracy (Jane Elliot) was arrested for drugging Drew (Cameron Mathison). Although she told Mac (John J. York) at the police station that she was being framed, he told her there was ketamine found in her car. Drew is obviously setting Tracy up, but that's a story for another day. Also on May 20, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had it out with Kristina (Kate Mansi). After arriving at Alexis' home and seeing her mother be 'nice' to Ric (Rick Hearst), Kristina chastised the Davis matriarch for being cordial to the man working with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew to take Michael's kids. Ric cautioned Kristina about being nicer to him moving forward, and after he left, Alexis more or less stressed the same. Kristina railed against her mother for her newfound peace with Ric and for Alexis previously trying to have Kristina committed. Having had enough of Kristina's unfair remarks, Alexis blurts out that she's been trying to help her daughter, as she knows Kristina tried to kill Ava (Maura West), but caused Ric's accident instead. Digging more into the mess created by Kristina, Sonny (Maurice Benard) has no idea that his daughter cut the brakes of his half-brother's car, which almost killed not only Ric, but Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) as well. Furthermore, the Dimpled Kingpin of Port Charles has no clue that Ric and Ava were blackmailing Alexis to keep this all a secret. When Sonny hears all the sordid details of this catastrophe, we imagine he's going to be furious. Sonny is not one who likes to be left out of the loop when it comes to his children, and something of this size deserves his attention. Kristina is now a bonafide attempted murderer, an official criminal. While he likely wouldn't care much if Ric were to disappear for good, he probably would care about what could have happened to Elizabeth. The head nurse is the mother of one of Jason's (Steve Burton) sons, and she is the girlfriend of Sonny's good friend, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). Plus, Kristina's actions were a call she needed help, and Sonny may not be happy for missing the signs and not getting her the assistance she required. Additionally, Ava has been skating on thin ice with Sonny for years now, and if they didn't share a child, he may have dealt with her long ago. If he learns that Ava was using this whole ordeal as an opportunity to exploit his eldest daughter and her mother, he could revert to vintage Sonny and levy a threat against Ava that turns every hair on her head ghostly white. Heck, he could make a move to kill her (which is unlikely in our book). All in all, we just hope Sonny's heart can take the bombshell news and withstand his probable visceral reaction. By the way, we should also note the possibility that Kristina's secret isn't the thing to push him over the edge. We'd be remiss if we didn't bring up the chance that Sonny explodes when he finds out Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is carrying Michael's child and Jason, his best friend, has been lying about it. But hey, it's the Nurses Ball, so anything can happen. New episodes of General Hospital air on weekdays on ABC. If you miss an episode, you can catch up on Hulu.
