Peter Andre's wife, Emily MacDonagh, spoke out about their 10-year marriage and hectic family life, as they juggle five children between them
Peter Andre 's wife Emily MacDonagh said she is keen for the pair to spend more time together amid their hectic family life. The couple, who married in 2015, have a busy household consisting of the two of them, their three children together, and Peter's daughter Princess Andre.

In an honest admission about their relationship, Emily, 35, discussed the relatable realities of trying to have quality time together, while juggling family life and their careers.

"It's something we have to make an effort to do and if I'm honest, we should do it more," she told Heat Magazine.

"We always say we ought to try and go for dinner once every two weeks, and it happens but just not that frequently.
"But, we still try and make time for each other within our routine and working week.
"So, every night at home, we will sit together and watch TV, or have a conversation, just us, no distractions."

The doctor said as well as time together at home, they also try to have an annual holiday to Cyprus.
"Obviously, it's where Pete's family's from and I love the kids going back there. It's their heritage," she added.

Peter, 52, and Emily are parents to; Amelia, 11, Theo, eight, and 16-month-old Arabella.
As well as Princess, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker has 20-year-old son Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price, who lives with his girlfriend.
Commenting on the age gaps between their children, Emily added: "It's so nice – we've got the full spread here.

"What's so good about having the big age range is that you see them all at different stages of their lives.
"And seeing the dynamic between all of them is lovely. Obviously, they bicker – especially Millie and Theo – but they really love each other so much, all of them."
Unlike Junior and Princess, the pair's three children are kept away from the public eye and do not feature in Peter's eldest daughter's new ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries.

The 18-year-old has been giving fans an insight into her life as an influencer, and an aspiring businesswoman.
During the episodes, she also opens up about growing up with famous parents.
In one admission, the star admitted that she wished her childhood was "happier", and revealed she had a counsellor to help with some issues.
"I did have a counsellor, I do still see her every now and then," she told viewers. "But I don't feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes.
"I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age."

There was a big fall out after Katie wasn't allowed to go to Princess' 18th birthday party, hosted by her ex, and her daughter's dad, Peter Andre. In part one of the fourth episode of The Princess Diaries, Princess was asked by her famous father who she wanted at her party - and it appeared to not include Katie. In a conversation at the family home, Peter asked his teenage daughter: "You do know your birthday's in, like, less than a week. "It's about what are we going to do for your birthday?" After some hesitation from Princess, the Mysterious Girl singer asked: "You don't want a big party?" She then replied: " It's not that I don't want a big party, but it's just, like… ..I'd rather ..have, like, a sit-down meal with you, like, just the family, like, in the household." This could be seen as a snub to mum Katie, as she isn't part of the "household". Princess turned 18 back in June, and at the time Katie claimed she wasn't invited because she had been banned from appearing in The Princess Diaries. Speaking on her The Katie Price Show podcast at the time, she said: "Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Princess Andre takes TWO subtle swipes at mum Katie Price as she reveals what she will NEVER do to follow in her footsteps "Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me." Her sister Sophie chipped in: "You aren't on brand Katie. You are too risky Katie that's why." Katie then said: "It's pathetic. I'm her mother. "I'm just saying, Princess was like 'I'm having a party'. And I wasn't invited because it was for 'filming.'" 5 Katie previously talked about not being invited to Princess' party Credit: Getty Sophie added: "Oh of course it was! I wonder what restaurant did that for free." Continuing the rant, Katie said: "The fact is there's stuff my daughter is doing and I'm not allowed to be seen at any of it." The Sun revealed how the documentary has caused a huge rift between Princess and her famous mum. Katie previously vented about those working with her daughter after The Sun revealed her secret heartache about being cut out of her TV show. She even vowed not to watch her daughter's reality show, after feeling left out of such an important thing in Princess' life. Earlier this week, Katie shared a cryptic message saying "your mum is not your enemy". Sharing a quote on her Instagram stories, Katie urged that as a mum she is "not trying to control" but instead "trying to protect" The quote also acknowledged how she "may not be perfect" but is "the only woman in this world" who wants the best for her children.

Princess Andre takes subtle swipe at mum Katie Price as she reveals line she would NEVER cross during glam 18th birthday photo shoot

Princess Andre has taken a subtle swipe at her mother Katie Price 's risque modelling career - revealing the line she would never cross during her glam 18th birthday shoot. The teenage reality star has been launched into the spotlight by her new hit ITV show The Princess Diaries, which sees her navigate life in the public eye. As the daughter of singer Peter Andre and former page 3 pin-up girl Katie Price, Princess has had a chaotic upbringing and admitted she 'saw things kids shouldn't' while growing up. But as the rising star carves out her own career, she made a subtle jab at her mother when she revealed she would never model in the same way. Episode four of the bombshell show sees Princess commemorate turning 18 with a glamour shoot, featuring an array of striking outfits. After posing confidently in a sheer pink robe, Princess reflected on her own mother's time in front of the cameras. 'I did feel kind of in my zone. I felt like my mum,' she gushed admiringly. 'I saw photos of her when she was younger and it's kind of reminding me of me.' Princess then hesitated, before adding: 'But obviously she did topless, and I would not do topless.' The 18-year-old has previously emphasised how close she is to her mother, who she describes as her 'best friend'. But her new four-part series has reportedly sparked a feud between the mum and daughter duo, with Katie saying she is 'upset' that she has not been more involved. And it's not the first time Princess has appeared to take a jab at her celebrity mum. Elsewhere at the show, she admitted that she goes to her stepmother Emily for advice about her love life. 'Ems gives the best advice,' she said. 'I feel like if I'm ever in a situation I don't want to talk to dad about, I'll speak to Ems about it.' Emily MacDonagh, 35, is 52-year-old Peter's second wife and the pair share three children Amelia, 11, Theo, nine, and Arabella, 13 months. Katie Price pictured in 1999 at a Marie Curie Cancer Care charity event in London In the show, Princess admits that she is not yet ready to move on from her relationship with her former boyfriend, whose name has not been made publicly available. Princess tells Emily that she can't currently 'picture' herself with anyone else and feels 'lost and confused' after the split. She says: 'I don't think I'm really ready to move on. Another relationship does not interest me right now. 'Me and the ex are still in touch. We're friends but there's still a lot of love there.' In response to this Emily, a doctor, tells the teenager that she does not have to move on immediately and that it will likely do her good to spend some time by herself. She advised: 'It's important to have time to yourself, to find out who you are as well. 'It's not the right time for you, you can't be bothered at the moment. If the right person comes along, you'll be bothered. 'You've got a lot to give to someone else. You're a big catch.' The revelation comes after Princess admitted she 'saw things kids shouldn't' during her childhood - and is still recovering from her mother's 'dark times'. Speaking during episode one of her ITV show, she told viewers: 'I had so much on my plate at such a young age.' Princess also described the impact her mother's subsequent chaotic romances and lifestyle had on her growing up.

Princess Andre takes subtle double swipe at mum Katie Price with candid confession

Princess Andre has appeared to take subtle swipes at mum Katie Price after the former glamour model criticised producers of her new show, The Princess Diaries Princess Andre has appeared to take subtle swipes at mum Katie Price as she continues to carve her own showbiz career. In her new documentary series, The Princess Diaries, the teen is showcasing her blossoming career, but the show has opted against airing Katie's role in her daughter's life. ‌ Instead, dad Peter Andre is a mainstay in the production, showing his close bond with his eldest daughter. And in the latest edition, Princess, 18, has confessed to the things she will never do that her mum did. ‌ Speaking to the cameras for the ITV show, Princess admitted she would never do glamour modelling like her mum did. The revelation came as Princess took part in a photoshoot to mark her 18th birthday. ‌ As she wore a number of different outfits for the shoot, including a very sheer robe, Princess looked back at her mum's success in front of the camera. She said her shoot reminded her of her mum Katie, 47, and her campaigns over the years. However, she admitted: "But obviously she did topless. And I would not do topless." She later revealed how she goes to her stepmum for advice. Princess lives with her dad and Emily Andre and their kids and added: "I feel like, if I'm ever in a situation that I don't want to talk to dad about, I'll speak to Ems about it." It comes after Princess had revealed the impact her mum's split from Kieran Hayler had on her. Katie, 47, married Kieran, 38, in 2013 but they separated five years later after he cheated on her, including with one of her "best friends". After saying she didn't feel as though she recovered from the split, Kieran has since apologised. He said: "I am as sorry as I can be to Princess witnessing us go through such a horrible separation. "Leaving them was one of the hardest things I ever had to do." Despite the turmoil and apparent swipes, Princess did gush over her friendship with her mum. Addressing rumours of a rift, Princess told Closer 'there's no rift'. The teenager said: "At the end of the day, it's my show – it's not really about any of my parents. Mum was actually featured in it, it's just that I live with my dad. There's no rift between anyone." And on the show, she revealed: "I love her, she's like my best friend." Princess made her modelling debut last year with PrettyLittleThings. She has now moved into the reality TV spectrum in her own light and the influencer is set to make thousands and take after her famous parents by becoming a reality star.
