STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD
Ram Charan is set to take the silver screen by storm once again with his highly anticipated 16th film, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame. This pan-India spectacle is presented by leading production house Mythri Movie Makers, in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, and is produced by the visionary Venkata Satish Kilaru under his ambitious banner, Vriddhi Cinemas.
Before the real storm hits, the makers released a pre-look poster yesterday, igniting immense curiosity ahead of the first-look reveal. Extending birthday wishes to Ram Charan, they officially unveiled the film's title as PEDDI. The title encapsulates the power and gravitas of Ram Charan's character, hinting at something truly monumental.
The first-look poster captures him in a gritty, no-nonsense avatar—his piercing eyes, messy hair, untamed beard, and nose ring exude an air of unshakable dominance. Clad in rugged attire and smoking a cigar, he embodies a character that is unapologetically fierce and deeply rooted in raw power. Adding to the intrigue, a second poster reveals him holding an old cricket bat, with a rustic village stadium illuminated by floodlights in the background. These visuals hint at a narrative rich in rural intensity and gripping drama.

After 19 years, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla' returns with a sequel, new script locked, Huma Qureshi joins the cast, more names expected soon

It's the film that quietly made its way into people's hearts and stayed there. Khosla Ka Ghosla, the 2006 slice-of-life comedy starring Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak and Tara Sharma, didn't roar at the box office instantly, but its slow-burn success turned it into a bona fide cult classic. Now, 19 years later, it's getting a sequel. According to a Pinkvilla report, the makers have locked the script for Khosla Ka Ghosla 2, and are eyeing a shoot by the end of 2025. The film will be helmed by Umesh Bist and promises to retain the comic spirit of the original. Who's joining the Khosla clan this time? In a fresh update, Huma Qureshi has reportedly been finalised as one of the main leads. A source close to the project revealed, 'Huma has heard the script and liked it. She's on board for one of the central roles.' The sequel is expected to go on floors by November 2025, and will likely hit theatres sometime in 2026. The production is said to be backed by T-Series, though formal announcements are still awaited. Will the original cast return? While nothing has been officially confirmed, early buzz suggests that both Anupam Kher and Boman Irani are not just returning—but might also be involved in the film's production. Back in 2006, the story revolved around Kamal Khosla (played by Anupam Kher), an ordinary middle-class man trying to reclaim his land from a cunning property dealer, Khurana (played by Boman Irani). It was sharp, funny, and quietly reflective of Delhi's middle-class anxieties. The film won the National Award for Best Feature Film (Hindi) and continues to enjoy fan love on OTT platforms. With a mix of nostalgia and new energy, the sequel is being pitched as a complete comic entertainer—and audiences are already curious how the story will be updated for 2026.

Harshvardhan Rane shares glimpse of his hustle life

Actor Harshvardhan Rane is currently living what he describes as a "busy but fulfilling life," juggling multiple commitments across dubbing, training, and academics. In a candid Instagram video, the actor gave fans a sneak peek into his packed schedule, showcasing a blend of cinematic grind and academic determination. 'Dubbing for #DEEWANIYAT, Training for #SILAA, Studying for next EXAMS.…driving a little JIMNY 🙂 (just another #RainyDay in #Mumbai ),' Rane captioned the video. The reel opens with Rane navigating Mumbai's monsoon-soaked streets in his Jimny before heading to a studio for dubbing. He's currently lending his voice for Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, a romantic entertainer starring Sonam Bajwa and helmed by Milap Zaveri. He had earlier teased fans with a story showing himself behind the mic, signaling the film's post-production is in full swing. The video then transitions to intense physical training sessions for Omung Kumar's upcoming emotional drama Silaa. The actor has been pushing boundaries, undergoing martial arts and stunt choreography training for a character dealing with both emotional upheaval and a physical transformation. The film stars Sadia Khateeb opposite Rane, while Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra takes on the antagonist's role. What truly sets Rane apart is his simultaneous pursuit of a Psychology Honours degree. The video closes with him engrossed in study, writing notes for his upcoming exams. Back in May, Rane had posted about completing his assignments with full focus, stating, 'Assignments done, taiyyari done, pass nahi hona, top karna hai.' From on-screen action to off-screen ambition, Rane is clearly scripting an inspiring journey.
