Lauren Sanchez's must-have wedding foundation is now 20% off

Daily Mirror28-06-2025
Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos wedding weekend is underway and Lauren's MUA revealed that the only foundation she uses is the celeb-loved Armani Silk – and it's now 20% off
There's only one thing that anyone can talk about this weekend; the wedding of Lauren Sanchez and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. No matter how you feel about the couple, it's hard to deny that Lauren's bridal glamour has been flawless for every event so far in their three day long Venetian wedding party.
Whilst the bride has shared details of her dress designer (Dolce & Gabbana) and tagged her glam squad – hairstylist Rick Henry and makeup artist Laura Merle – the products used to create her flawless wedding look have so far remained under wraps. However, a little bit of sleuthing revealed that there's only one foundation Lauren wears, and it's a safe bet it's what was used for her radiant bridal makeup.
In a recent article by The Telegraph, Lauren's must-have foundation for every occasion was revealed to be the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, which is currently on sale down from £47 to £37.60. Lauren's other trusted makeup artist, Buster Knight, has almost exclusively used the Armani foundation every time he's done her glam for everything from Cannes to Paris.
In her interview with Vogue, Lauren also gave a preview into the inspiration behind her wedding day beauty look, saying: 'Hardly any glam, the least amount of make-up. This is part of the evolution. I want it as natural as you can get it.'
Lauren's beloved Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is perfect for embodying that look, giving a hydrated, glowy and lightweight finish that looks naturally radiant. It comes in 40 different shades, and has medium buildable coverage whilst still looking and feeling lightweight.
It uses clever technologies like Micro-fil to sculpt and brighten up your complexion as you wear it, as well as improving the look of texture and imperfections. It's also oil-free and ultra-hydrating, which is essential in the Venice heat.
The Armani Silk foundation might be Lauren's go-to, but it's not the only one around to achieve that same radiant glow. The NARS Light Reflecting Foundation is a great substitute, combining skincare and makeup for a breathable, lightweight feel that actively improves your skin as you wear it. It's also currently on sale down from £41 to £32.80.
For a budget-friendly option, the L'Oréal Paris Foundation is said to be a great alternative, with 46 shades to choose from and giving you a natural glow whilst allowing your skin to breathe with a non-comedogenic formula. It's now £9.99, down from £11.98 on Amazon.
However the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation has an impressive roster of A-lister fans behind it, as it's not just Lauren who's a die-hard fan of the foundation. Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Meghan Markle, Ariana Grande, and Sabrina Carpenter are all said to be huge fans of it, and considering how flawless all of their skin looks, it's probably a safe assumption they're onto something.

was inundated with support from her celebrity friends after she posted an emotional message about grief to her Instagram - just one week after her husband, Jeff Bezos 's mom Jacklyn Bezos, passed away at the age of 78. Sanchez shared the cryptic note about losing those you love on Thursday morning. She wrote, 'Those we lose leave us with a quiet instruction… to live with more tenderness, more gratitude, more love. I carry that reminder with me today.' The words were paired with a video of a sunset. She did not specify who she was talking about. On August 14, it was announced that Jacklyn, known as Jackie, had passed away peacefully at home after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia. In the comments section of Sanchez's new post, many of her famous friends flooded her with comforting messages. 'This is truth….' wrote singer Jewel. In the comments section of Sanchez's new post about grief, many of her friends flooded her with comforting messages Her good friend, Kris Jenner, left a broken heart emoji along with a heart emoji. CEO of designer label Alice and Olivia also supported her friend with a string of red heart emojis. Sanchez herself was the one who announced Jackie's passing, posting a picture of her mother-in-law on Instagram with a breaking heart emoji at the time. Bezos then spoke out about her death in a tender tribute posted to his social media. 'Her adulthood started a little bit early when she became my mom at the tender age of 17,' Bezos began the message. 'That couldn't have been easy, but she made it all work. She pounced on the job of loving me with ferocity, brought my amazing dad onto the team a few years later, and then added my sister and brother to her list of people to love, guard, and nourish,' the tribute continued. 'For the rest of her life, that list of people to love never stopped growing. She always gave so much more than she ever asked for.' Bezos shared that his mother had passed away after a 'long fight' with Lewy Body Dementia, surrounded by her family. 'I know she felt our love in those final moments,' the Amazon tycoon wrote. 'We were all so lucky to be in her life. I hold her safe in my heart forever.' He signed the post with, 'I love you, mom.' His wife, Sanchez, commented on the post, sharing how much they would all miss her. 'We will miss her SO much. Love you,' the newlywed typed. The passing of Bezos' mom comes just days after the former journalist had revealed that she was 'heartbroken' over sending her son Evan Whitesell to college at The University of Miami. The newlywed took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of Evan putting together a piece of furniture in his dorm. 'Dropped off Evan at college today. 18 years of early mornings, late night snacks and family then there he was building his own dorm cabinet,' Sanchez wrote on top of the photo. 'A small thing but in that moment I saw the start of his next chapter. Proud. Heartbroken. Grateful,' she concluded. She also shared a photo of Evan when he was just a few years old to her story later that evening. She shares son Evan with her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell. She also shares 17-year-old daughter Ella with Patrick, as well as son Nikko Gonzalez, 24, with ex Tony Gonzalez.

Last One Laughing UK season 2 cast announced with one iconic comedian returning

What do you call a TV show where comedians try to make each other laugh? A smash hit for Amazon! Okay, I'll admit that one's not going to win me an Edinburgh Comedy Award, but I'm not here to make you laugh, I'm here to let you know the latest on Last One Laughing. Yes, after months of speculation, Amazon Prime Video has finally announced which comedians will be trying to tease a titter out of their friends and colleagues in Last One Laughing season 2. At the Edinburgh TV festival, it was revealed that next year's all-star line-up includes Alan Carr, Amy Gledhill, David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Romesh Ranganathan, Sam Campbell and Gbemisola Ikumelo. Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty are also back to make sure the comedians stick to the rules and eliminate anyone who dares to let out the slightest snigger. However, what's really interesting is that a fan favourite from the first season is set to return. The reigning LOL UK champion, Bob Mortimer, is back. What's Bob doing in the Last One Laughing house again? Well, he's here to defend his title, of course! The first season of Last One Laughing UK was a mega hit for Amazon when it was released in March this year. The show – which sees ten professional comedians trying to make each other laugh without laughing themselves – broke several records for the streaming service. According to Barb, the first three episodes were watched by more than 6 million people and quickly topped Prime Video's UK top 10 chart, even overtaking megahits like Reacher. Our deputy TV editor shares his thoughts on which comedian is most likely to walk away the winner with some odd footballing/sports metaphor thrown in for fun… Alan Carr – Too big a name, so will be a prime target for the others. I can see him being one of the first out. Bob Mortimer – Sorry, Bob, I don't think you're going to win twice. I'm predicting a mid-table finish for the reigning champ. Romesh Ranganathan – On paper, Romesh seems like he could go all the way, but his high profile means he's going to be a target. Likely out by episodes 5-6. Sam Campbell – A finalist in the making, Sam's turn on Taskmaster proved he's got the deadpan charm to go all the way. Diane Morgan – A dark horse, Diane's very funny and good at keeping herself composed. Another potential finalist. David Mitchell – I predict David will find himself in trouble early doors; he's too well known for his composure, so the other comedians will be gunning for him. If he doesn't crack in eps one to three, expect to see him make it to the final four. Maisie Adam – I could never doubt a fellow Northener. She's going to the final 4, no doubt. Mel Giedroyc – Mel, the majority of the Metro ents desk thinks you're the first one out, and I hate to bow to peer pressure, but they're probably right. Amy Gledhill – A relative newcomer, Amy's won Best Show at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, so you'd be a fool to underestimate her. Gbemisola Ikumelo – They don't give Baftas to just anyone, and the Famalam star is sure to give the other comedians a run for their money. A late finish for sure. It's perhaps unsurprising then that Amazon quickly commissioned a second season, especially when you consider fan reaction. On X, viewers couldn't stop praising Last One Laughing. @danrgardine wrote: 'I wouldn't last 2 minutes on Last One Laughing UK. It's hilarious!!' @alanturnerr agreed, writing: 'Last One laughing UK is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Haven't laughed at TV like this in years.' More Trending @danielinton meanwhile added: 'I am literally crying with laughter.' Last One Laughing is based on a Japanese TV show called Documental, which first landed on Amazon in 2016. Since then, the format has been adapted for multiple countries, including Ireland, Australia, Mexico, and, of course, the UK. All-female period drama is 'Great Gatsby meets murder mystery' from 28 Years Later director

Prime Video have released a new trailer with a Marvel star in a very different role A new all-female period drama is already being described as 'Great Gatsby meets murder mystery' as its first trailer is finally released. ‌ Prime Video have given fans their very first look at upcoming release Hedda. The film comes from acclaimed horror director Nia DaCosta, who also penned the screenplay. DaCosta is known for previously helming The Candyman remake, The Marvels, along with 28 Years Later sequel The Bone Temple. ‌ It features MCU star Tessa Thompson in the leading role as Hedda Gabler, a role previously performed on stage in Henrik Ibsen's play by the likes of Maggie Smith, Rosamund Pike, Cate Blanchett plus film versions starring Ingrid Bergman, Game of Throne's Dame Diana Rigg; and Glenda Jackson who earned an Oscar nomination. ‌ This latest adaptation promises a provocative, modern reimagining of the classic play. This includes transforming it into a bold thriller with an all-female central trio, and twisted love triangle set in 50s London. Hedda finds herself torn between the lingering ache of a past love and the quiet suffocation of her present life. ‌ Over the course of one charged night, long-repressed desires and hidden tensions erupt, this pulls her and everyone around her into a spiral of manipulation, passion, and betrayal. Thompson will star opposite Imogen Poots, star of Da Vinci's Demons Tom Bateman, Long Bright River's Nicholas Pinnock, and Nina Hoss who has previously appeared in Tar and Homeland. ‌ Fans will actually get the chance to see Hedda on the big screen just before it hits streaming. Amazon is releasing it in select cinemas from October 22 but it becomes available on Prime Video from October 29. DaCosta has already spoken out about what makes her version of Hedda different. She told Vanity Fair: "I thought that this character was terrifying, but also how brave to write a character like this, who is to me, at least unredeemable and does horrible things, but you're telling it from her perspective and have huge empathy for her." ‌ However, interpretations and adaptations she saw, at least she felt, had something missing. She continued: "I liked it, but I thought, This is not as funny or dark or sexy as what I read or what I felt when I was reading it. So I was like, 'Wouldn't it be cool to do a movie where I make all the subtext text?'" Fans are already excited about Hedda's release. One commented on the trailer's post on YouTube saying: "This trailer is giving me The Great Gatsby meets murder mystery vibes and I'm HERE FOR IT." Another added: "Wow this looks fantastic! So in for Tessa! Glad to see Nia DaCosta get more work too after Candyman."
