Renowned chef José Andrés responds with a playful remark — 'And you married him?' — prompting laughter from the exchange has been interpreted by some viewers as a subtle, good-natured dig at the Duke of Sussex. The moment adds a personal touch to a series otherwise focused on lifestyle, food, and guest interactions. The show's first season debuted in March and received largely negative reviews from critics. Daniel D'Addario of Variety described it as lacking substance and questioned whether it justified its length. Despite these critiques, Netflix confirmed Season 2 just days after the first season's release, as filming had already been completed. The series is part of a broader collaboration between Netflix and the couple's media company, Archewell Productions. On August 11, the venture announced a multi-year extension with the streaming platform, which will cover future film and television projects. The agreement includes the continuation of With Love, Meghan, a holiday special for the series, and a feature film adaptation of the romance novel Meet Me at the Lake. Meghan expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing partnership, stating that she and her husband are inspired by their creative collaborators and aim to produce content that resonates with audiences worldwide.
