UPDATES
Sports Betting – Missouri – In May 2025 , the Company announced that it has partnered with BetMGM to operate an online and mobile sports betting application under the Company's license in Missouri . The agreement includes a percentage of net gaming revenue payable to the Company, with a guaranteed minimum, as well as retail sportsbook options to be exercised at the Company's discretion. Sports betting is expected to begin in Missouri in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Caruthersville, Missouri – Since the opening of the new casino and hotel on November 1, 2024 , net operating revenue and Adjusted EBITDAR** have increased 26% and 31% respectively.
Poland – The Company was awarded a second license in the city of Wroclaw in March 2025 . The Company expects to open the casino in the fourth quarter of 2025. The Company was notified in June 2025 that it had not received a new license for a second casino in Warsaw and closed the casino at the Hilton Hotel. The license for the Company's flagship casino in Warsaw at The Presidential Hotel runs through 2028.
Strategic Review Process – The Company's Board of Directors (the "Board") has initiated a comprehensive strategic review of its operations, capital structure and strategic growth options. The review will explore a range of potential strategic alternatives for the Company's assets and businesses aimed at enhancing shareholder value and supporting long-term growth. These alternatives may include opportunities to unlock value within our existing property portfolio, optimize the Company's capital structure, evaluate potential mergers, strategic partnerships, or the sale of the Company, and to analyze potential divestments of assets or other asset-level transactions. In connection with this review, the Company has engaged Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP as legal counsel and Macquarie Capital as financial advisor.
This review follows the Company's recent substantial capital expenditure program and solid operational performance in the second quarter of 2025 and reflects the Board's proactive approach to positioning the Company for future success in an evolving market landscape. The Board has not set a timetable for the conclusion of this review. At this stage, no commitments or decisions have been made and there can be no assurance that the review will result in any transaction or particular change to the Company's business. The Company does not intend to make further public comments on the process unless and until it determines that further disclosure is appropriate or necessary.

UNAUDITED SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
* We define Adjusted EBITDAR as net earnings (loss) attributable to Century Casinos , Inc. shareholders before interest expense (income) (including interest expense related to the Master Lease), net, income taxes (benefit), depreciation, amortization, non-controlling interests net earnings (losses) and transactions, pre-opening expenses, termination expenses related to closing a casino , acquisition costs, non-cash stock-based compensation charges, asset impairment costs, loss (gain) on disposition of fixed assets, discontinued operations, (gain) loss on foreign currency transactions, cost recovery income and other, gain on business combination and certain other one-time transactions. The Master Lease is accounted for as a financing obligation. As such, a portion of the periodic payment under the Master Lease is recognized as interest expense with the remainder of the payment impacting the financing obligation using the effective interest method. Intercompany transactions consisting primarily of management and royalty fees and interest, along with their related tax effects, are excluded from the presentation of net earnings (loss) attributable to Century Casinos , Inc. shareholders and Adjusted EBITDAR reported for each segment. Not all of the aforementioned items occur in each reporting period, but have been included in the definition based on historical activity. These adjustments have no effect on the consolidated results as reported under GAAP.
Adjusted EBITDAR is used outside of our financial statements solely as a valuation metric and is not considered a measure of performance recognized under GAAP. Adjusted EBITDAR is an additional metric used by analysts in valuing gaming companies subject to triple net leases such as our Master Lease since it eliminates the effects of variability in leasing methods and capital structures. This metric is included as supplemental disclosure because (i) we believe Adjusted EBITDAR is used by gaming operator analysts and investors to determine the equity value of gaming operators and (ii) financial analysts refer to Adjusted EBITDAR when valuing our business. We believe Adjusted EBITDAR is useful for equity valuation purposes because (i) its calculation isolates the effects of financing real estate, and (ii) using a multiple of Adjusted EBITDAR to calculate enterprise value allows for an adjustment to the balance sheet to recognize estimated liabilities arising from operating leases related to real estate.
Adjusted EBITDAR should not be construed as an alternative to net earnings (loss) attributable to Century Casinos , Inc. shareholders, the most directly comparable GAAP measure, as indicators of our performance. In addition, consolidated Adjusted EBITDAR also should not be viewed as a measure of overall operating performance or considered in isolation or as an alternative to net earnings (loss) attributable to Century Casinos , Inc. shareholders, because it excludes the rent expense associated with our Master Lease and several other items. Adjusted EBITDAR as used by us may not be defined in the same manner as other companies in our industry, and, as a result, may not be comparable to similarly titled non-GAAP financial measures of other companies.
** We define net earnings (loss) margin as net earnings (loss) attributable to Century Casinos , Inc. shareholders divided by net operating revenue.
*** We define Adjusted EBITDAR margin as Adjusted EBITDAR divided by net operating revenue. Adjusted EBITDAR margins are a non-US GAAP measure. Management uses these margins as one of several measures to evaluate the efficiency of our casino operations.

2 Stocks to Buy From the Challenging Semiconductor Industry

The Zacks Electronics - Semiconductors industry is suffering from macroeconomic challenges, end-market volatility, broad-based inventory correction and growing geopolitical tensions. Tariffs on trade partners, including China, are expected to hurt the industry's prospects. However, industry players are benefiting from the growing proliferation of AI, Generative AI (Gen AI), IoT, Machine Learning (ML) and industrial revolution 4.0 (which focuses on interconnectivity and automation). These have turned out to be boons for industry players like Broadcom AVGO and Applied Materials AMAT. Increasing demand for AI-supportive chips from hyperscalers is a major growth driver. The growing demand for high-volume consumer electronic devices, including digital media players, smartphones, tablets, efficient packaging, machine vision solutions and robotics, should continue to drive the industry's growth. The emergence of Gen AI and Agentic AI has further enhanced AI's capabilities, making it a key driver of efficiency, automation and innovation. Significant improvements in computing hardware (GPUs and TPUs) are allowing the development of more complex AI models. The growing number of high-speed data centers worldwide, which require ultra-fast Internet that 5G promises to deliver, is a tailwind. Increased connectivity and use of technology in consumer electronics through IoT, AI, robotics, AR/VR and others further set the momentum for 5G. Smart Devices Aiding Computing Demand: Smart devices need computing and learning capabilities to perform functions like face detection, image recognition and video analytics capabilities. These require high levels of processing power, speed and memory and low power consumption, as well as better graphics processors and solutions, which bode well for the industry. Graphic solutions help increase the speed of rendering images and improve image resolution and color definition. Prospects Around Advanced Packaging Robust: The increasing demand for miniaturization, greater functionality, lower power consumption, and improved thermal and electrical performance are driving the demand for semiconductor packaging and test technologies. Zacks Industry Rank Indicates Dim Prospects The Zacks Electronics - Semiconductors industry is housed within the broader Zacks Computer and Technology sector. It currently carries a Zacks Industry Rank #182, which places it in the bottom 25% of more than 250 Zacks industries. The group's Zacks Industry Rank, which is the average of the Zacks Rank of all the member stocks, indicates bearish near-term prospects. Our research shows that the top 50% of the Zacks-ranked industries outperform the bottom 50% by a factor of more than two to one. The industry's positioning in the bottom 50% of the Zacks-ranked industries is a result of the negative earnings outlook for the constituent companies in aggregate. Looking at the aggregate earnings estimate revisions, it appears that analysts are optimistic about this group's earnings growth potential. Since April 30, 2025, the industry's earnings estimates for the current year have moved down 3.6%. Given the bearish prospects, there are only a few stocks that you can consider for your portfolio. However, before we present the stocks, let us look at the industry's recent stock-market performance and valuation picture. When a Healthcare Giant Gets Sick: Elevance Health's 20% YTD Decline

Elevance Health, Inc. ELV has endured a bruising 2025 so far, sliding 20.3% year to date and lagging both its industry peers and the S&P 500 Index. Shares closed Friday at $293.99, hovering just above the lower edge of their 52-week range of $273.71–$567.26. For value hunters, the stock's current level may look like an attractive entry point into a leading health benefits player; after all, buying closer to the low than the high has its appeal, right? Based in Indianapolis, IN, Elevance carries a market capitalization of $66.2 billion. Its peers like UnitedHealth Group Incorporated UNH and Centene Corporation CNC have also stumbled this year, in some cases even more sharply. In fact, UnitedHealth's sheer weight in the health insurance space has dragged down the sector on multiple occasions, while Centene has also contributed to the selling pressure. Price Performance – ELV, UNH, CNC, Industry & S&P 500 What's Dragging Down ELV Stock? Several headwinds are hitting Elevance simultaneously. Medicaid membership has shrunk 15.1% in 2024 and another 4.1% in the first half of 2025, erasing members and the revenues they bring. Medicare Supplement and employer group risk-based memberships in the commercial business are also slipping. The situation is likely to remain choppy into 2026, especially with the GOP's recently passed tax-and-policy package, which slashes Medicaid funding and overhauls Affordable Care Act eligibility and enrollment rules. Meanwhile, medical costs are climbing as utilization grows, compressing margins. In the second quarter, the company's benefit expense ratio worsened 260 basis points year over year to 88.9%. Full-year benefit expense ratio is expected at approximately 90%, with the second half likely to witness steeper jumps. Investor sentiment soured further as management cut its full-year 2025 outlook. The company now expects adjusted EPS to be around $30, lower than the previously forecasted range of $34.15-$34.85, down from the 2024 reported figure of $33.04. Its peers, such as UnitedHealth and Centene, also lowered their expectations for the current year. Adding to the unease, President Donald Trump's sharp criticism of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) in his push to lower drug prices has put companies with PBM exposure — including Elevance, UnitedHealth and Cigna — under a regulatory and political cloud. Centene sidestepped potential trouble by exiting its PBM operations a few years ago, executing the move as part of its broader value-creation strategy. Analysts Turn Cold for ELV Over the past month, 2025 and 2026 earnings estimates have each seen double-digit downward revisions, 16 and 14 cuts, respectively, with no upgrades in sight. The current Zacks Consensus Estimate calls for 2025 EPS of $30.59, a 7.4% decline from the prior year, despite revenue projections implying a 12.4% gain. The company's earnings track record has been mixed, beating expectations twice in the past four quarters but missing twice as well, for an average surprise of negative 2.3%. Elevance Health, Inc. Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise Elevance Health, Inc. price-consensus-eps-surprise-chart | Elevance Health, Inc. Quote ELV's Valuation: Cheap, But for a Reason? At a forward 12-month P/E of 9.24X, Elevance Health trades well below both its five-year median of 13.44X and the industry average of 14.32X, a valuation gap that reflects investor caution. UnitedHealth and Centene, despite suffering steeper sell-offs, command higher multiples of 14.05X and 9.94X, respectively. Why the Long Game Still Works Despite the near-term turbulence, Elevance retains solid long-term growth levers. Product expansion, revenue diversification, rate hikes, and selective growth in commercial lines should help offset pressures. Premium increases and a sharper focus on optimizing the government business position the company to benefit from structural healthcare trends, including rising health spending, an aging population and the growing burden of chronic disease. The company reallocates resources to more profitable areas and makes prudent acquisitions. ELV's return on invested capital of 9.36% is higher than the industry average of 5.80%, which indicates that the company is more efficient in generating returns from its capital than the industry. Its consistent dividend payouts and stock repurchases boost shareholders' value. Elevance's dividend yield of 2.33% is higher than the industry average of 1.37%. ELV bought back shares worth $379 million in the second quarter alone. It had a leftover capacity of roughly $8 billion under its share buyback authorization as of June 30, 2025. To Conclude While Elevance's beaten-down valuation and strong long-term industry tailwinds might tempt bargain hunters, the near-term outlook remains clouded by shrinking memberships, rising medical costs, regulatory risks and deteriorating analyst sentiment. With earnings estimates moving sharply lower and the stock currently carrying a Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell), investors may want to stay on the sidelines until the company's fundamentals show clearer signs of recovery. NuScale Power Shares Rise 7% on Narrower Q2 Loss, Revenue Up Y/Y

NuScale Power SMR shares have gained 7.2% since the company reported its second-quarter 2025 results on Aug. 7. The upward momentum can be attributed to NuScale Power's strong year-over-year revenue growth and early NRC approval for its 77 MWe SMR design. In the second quarter of 2025, NuScale Power reported loss per share of 13 cents, which was narrower than the loss of 31 cents reported in the year-ago quarter. The figure missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 8.33%. The company reported revenues of $8.1 billion for the quarter, marking a significant increase of 733% from $967 million in the prior-year quarter. However, the figure missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 11.15%. The year-over-year increase was driven by the higher fees from engineering, licensing, and pre-commercial operational services for the RoPower project. In the second quarter of 2025, SMR achieved approval for its 77-megawatt power uprate design, solidifying its position as the only SMR technology with two NRC approvals. NuScale Power shares have appreciated 119.5% year to date, outperforming the Zacks Computer & Technology sector's 13.8% return. SMR Q2 Operating Details SMR's second-quarter 2025 gross margin increased to 22.1% from 12.1% in the second quarter of 2024. In the second quarter, operating expenses increased 6.8% year over year to $44.86 million. In the reported quarter, research & development expenses declined 2.7% year over year to $11.8 million. General & administrative expenses increased 33.8% year over year to $22.52 million. Other expenses decreased 19.2% year over year to $10.54 million. The company reported a loss from operations of $43.08 million, up from $41.8 million in the year-ago quarter. SMR's Balance Sheet Details As of June 30, 2025, NuScale Power had cash and cash equivalents and short-term investments of $420.7 million compared with $521.4 million as of March 31, 2025. SMR's Earnings Estimates Show Upward Movement For the third quarter of 2025, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for loss is pegged at 11 cents per share, which has remained unchanged over the past 30 days. SMR reported earnings of 18 cents per share in the year-ago quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for third-quarter 2025 revenues is pegged at $11.10 million, indicating a year-over-year increase of 2,260.64%. Zacks Rank & Stocks to Consider NuScale Power currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). Some better-ranked stocks in the broader Zacks Computer and Technology sector are Autodesk ADSK, Applied Materials AMAT, and Cisco Systems CSCO. Each stock carries a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy) at present. You can see the complete list of today's Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) stocks here. Autodesk is set to report second-quarter fiscal 2026 results on Aug. 28. Autodesk shares have lost 1.6% year to date.
