Conor McGregor accused by rapper Azealia Banks of sending explicit images and making threats online
The 34-year-old artist shared screenshots and comments on her official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, alleging that the former MMA fighter had sent her unsolicited nude photos.
In one of her posts, Banks wrote: 'How you gonna send a b***h some crooked d**k pics then threaten her not to tell. Ngga do you know who the f**k I am? This is HARAM (sic),' referencing the Islamic term for something forbidden or sinful. A screenshot of Azealia Banks' post of Conor McGregor.
Banks, who grew up in Harlem and is known for her outspoken persona, further criticised McGregor's appearance and referenced his political aspirations. 'Like how are you really going to sexually harass me with the potato farmer d**k then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain't u trying to be the president of Ireland? (sic)' she posted, adding a comment about his skin: 'Use some f*****g sunscreen damn (sic).'
One of the alleged messages sent with the explicit content reportedly read: 'Don't be a rat, because all rats end up caught (sic).'
Following the backlash, McGregor reportedly deleted the images and unfollowed Banks on social media. The Irish athlete, who has been out of the UFC for over four years, has not issued a public response to the allegations.
This incident comes only six months after McGregor was ordered to pay nearly €200,000 in damages to a woman who accused him of rape in Ireland. He is also facing an ongoing legal case in the United States, where he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a restroom at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
As of now, Banks has not confirmed whether she intends to pursue legal action.

Nimisha Priya execution stay: Sunni leader Kanthapuram's intervention pays off
The Yemeni government has frozen the execution of Nimisha Priya, the Malayali nurse awaiting capital punishment for allegedly killing a Yemeni national named Talal Abdo Mahdi. Her execution was earlier scheduled for Wednesday (July 16). The government stayed the execution following the intervention of prominent Yemeni Islamic scholar Habib Omar bin Hafiz on the request of influential Sunni leader Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliar. Mr. Aboobacker Musliar, in a Facebook post at 2.20 p.m. on Tuesday (July 15, 2025), said the Yemeni government stayed the execution. He posted the government order in Arabic on his Facebook page. Mr. Aboobacker Musliar thanked everyone who prayed for Nimisha's life. He said 'God's grace be on them all.' Mr. Aboobacker Musliar's last-minute intervention on Sunday sparked a ray of hope as all other efforts to obtain a reprieve for Nimisha had failed. He made the intervention following an appeal by a few politicians led by Congress leader Chandy Oommen. Sheikh Habib Omar bin Hafiz, a much-respected scholar who is a member of the Yemen Shura Council and a follower of the Sufi order, entrusted his brother's son Habib Abdurahman Ali Mashoor to initiate talks with Mahdi's family. Mr. Mashoor held several rounds of talks with Mahdi's brother. Hudaida State court chief justice and Yemen Shura Council member too took part in the discussions on the request of Mr. Hafiz. Sources close to Mr. Aboobacker Musliar said the murder of Mahdi, which took place in 2017, had made a deep emotional impact not only on the family of the deceased but also among the community at Dhamar in Yemen. 'That was the reason why none could influence the family so far,' said one of the aides of Mr. Aboobacker Musliar. He said Mahdi's family could not reject the request of Mr. Hafiz. 'Sheikh Habib Omar wields such respect among the people in Yemen. We are all hopeful that Mahdi's family will forgive Nimisha Priya,' he said.
