Princess Alexandra Subtly Took a Side in Charles & Harry's Feud Amid Reports There's ‘No Turning Back' in Their Relationship
When family issues arise, people usually take sides. The British Royal Family is no different; their problems just play out on a bigger stage. That means that the feud between King Charles and Prince Harry has made everyone in the family take sides. This is complicated by the fact that King Charles is very ill, Prince Harry is also feuding with Prince William, and he's now living in the United States, far away from his family, with his wife, Meghan Markle, and his two kids.
A surprising royal who seems to be taking sides in this feud is Princess Alexandra, the late Queen Elizabeth's cousin and daughter of the late Prince George, Duke of Kent. The 88-year-old made a rare public appearance on Wednesday, June 4, as she joined the King at a special church service in London. Princess Alexandra was pictured sitting next to King Charles in the Queen's Chapel, as the family marked its 400th anniversary.

It might not feel like a lot, but for someone who doesn't make many public appearances, it feels like a statement. The Honourable Lady of Ogilvy had last been seen publicly when she attended the King's Christmas lunch for extended family at Buckingham Palace last December.
Other family members have recently appeared publicly with either King Charles or Prince William, which is seen as taking sides in this public feud. The Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, stepped out with Prince William for a joint engagement on June 6th, while Princess Anne joined other members of the family —including Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—to watch the VE Day commemorations from their balcony at Buckingham Palace.
This comes amid reports that the feud might never be put to rest. 'There is no turning back,' Royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News 'King Charles remains tender towards his son but can't risk communication. Prince William now has absolutely no interest in mending fences. Those close to the king say he [shouldn't] make peace with Harry in a way that would burden Prince William's future reign. The animosity is so deep that William has shut the door on Harry. Charles is not willing to go against his heir's wishes.'
Recently, another source had told Fox News that Harry's relationship with William cannot be fixed and the two are not expected to see each other until King Charles dies. 'The funeral of Charles would be the first time that courtiers would imagine [them reuniting],' the source said. 'I can't imagine William would invite Harry to his coronation.'
Royal author Valentine Low also told People that Charles' inner circle at Buckingham Palace is also advising him not to speak to Harry. 'There is not a good angel in [the king's] ear to say, 'Be a good dad and make the first move,'' Low said.
So, it looks like things are not getting better anytime soon, and we might see many more people taking sides in this feud.

Developer Friday Sundae revealed an eye-catching new game, There Are No Ghosts At the Grand, during the 2025 Xbox Games Showcase. The project, set to launch in 2026 on Xbox and PC, is one part part home renovation game, one part British ghost story, and one part musical. The debut trailer was one of many during a packed Xbox Games Showcase, but it stands out among the pack. The breakneck clip features talking cats, a full on musical sequence, magical power tools, and much more. If it all left you a little confused, Digital Trends learned more about how exactly the eclectic genre mash-up works. Recommended Videos There Are No Ghosts At the Grand is a narrative-driven adventure game follows Chris David, a man who inherits a dilapidated seaside hotel from his late father. His goal is to renovate the hotel in 30 days and nights using seven somewhat magical power tools. The trailer gives a glimpse if tools like sand blasters and furniture canons. Players can blast wallpaper away, vacuum up trash, redecorate, and more in first-person. It may look a bit like House Flipper or PowerWash Simulator at first glance, but that's not exactly the full picture. The project isn't a life simulator, but rather a supernatural mystery game with some choice-driven gameplay. Cleaning the hotel, and the town around it, during the day will reveal details about what exactly happened at The Grand. Friday Sundae notes that there are several layers of deception at play during the 10 hour story, as even the game's hero is described as an unreliable narrator. Players will also be able to explore a small open-world in that time, where they can ride around the sea on a boat, search for buried treasure with a metal detector, or ride around on a scooter in search of side activities like mini-golf. There are seven main areas to restore in the hotel and each one has an NPC tied to it who's a bit of a caretaker (and also a talking cat named Mr. Bones the Bastard). That's where the game's musical component comes in, as each one belts out original songs by Friday Sundae. The team describes it less like a traditional musical and more as a collection of British punk and ska records. The gameplay completely changes once again when nightfall hits. Everything transforms into a horror game at that point, where players need to outrun ghosts as the hotel shifts. The power tools turn into weapons at that point, which can suck up or otherwise destroy specters. So, to recap: house renovation mystery musical with open-world elements by day, Luigi's Mansion-esque horror game by night, all of which has to be completed within 30 days and 30 nights. Got that? There Are No Ghosts At the Grand launches for Xbox and PC in 2026.

INDIANA JONES' Whip Goes Up For Auction and Could Fetch $500,000, But it Belongs in a Museum — GeekTyrant
Cue the John Williams fanfare and put on your fedora, Indiana Jones' iconic bullwhip from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade is hitting the auction block. And if you've got $500,000 just lying around, you might just be able to take it home. The whip is up for grabs through Propstore this September and it comes with the full rig, which includes holster, belt, and all. It was used by Harrison Ford in the 1989 Spielberg adventure film. The whip is an eight-foot beast crafted by David Morgan, 'the master whipmaker who supplied all the original whips for the classic Indiana Jones trilogy,' according to the auction house's press release. This particular set is the only known whip/holster/belt combo from the film in private hands, previously owned by an anonymous 'production source' who worked on The Last Crusade . It's never been up for sale before, and considering the provenance, it's unlikely to surface again anytime soon. The whip also carries some production tags linking it to the famous 'Rideaway Scene,' as well as a 'production-used call sheet' tied to the thrilling motorcycle chase filmed in Marin County, California. But that's not all—there's reason to believe it was used earlier in production during shoots in the UK and Spain as well. According to Propstore: 'The whip and holster remain secured by metal wire ties added by the props team to hold the set together. The whip also bears dark markings from previous bindings, consistent with how it was worn coiled on Indy's belt during filming.' Estimated to fetch between $250,000 and $500,000, this isn't exactly an impulse buy. But for the right collector, this is the kind of thing you don't stash on a shelf, you build an alter for it. Now, if you don't have that kind of money, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is swinging back onto the big screen for Father's Day weekend, courtesy of Fathom Events. Catch it June 14-15 and 18 in select theaters nationwide.
