Daily Mail16-06-2025
Mariska Hargitay looked incredible as she channeled old Hollywood glamour at the Friday night Tribeca Festival premiere of her new documentary My Mom Jayne.
She was joined by her longtime husband, 57-year-old actor Peter Hermann, and their three children: August, 18, Andrew, 12, and Amaya, 14.
The 61-year-old Law & Order mainstay is the daughter of the late pinup star Jayne Mansfield and Hungarian-American actor and bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay.
In her new movie, she dropped a bombshell revelation — that her biological father is former Las Vegas entertainer Nelson Sardelli and not Hargitay, the man who raised her.
For the special occasion, the actress dazzled in a glitzy gown boasting a champagne-colored beaded floral top with a matching shawl, long black skirt, and white opera gloves.

Her brunette locks were arranged in a sideswept updo and she complemented the look with coordinating statement earrings.
Hargitay's sons looked dapper in matching black tuxedos, white shirts, and black bow ties.
Meanwhile, Peter looked handsome in an ivory jacket, white shirt, and black trousers.
Their daughter matched with him in a crew neck ivory skirt suit with a peplum hemline and oversize bow accoutrement.
She slipped her feet into a pair of jewel-tone pink mules with an open-toe design.
Ahead of the star-studded event, Mariska took to Instagram to interact with her 3.4 million followers.
Sharing a precious photo of her blonde bombshell mother holding her as a baby, she wrote, 'Thank you for the incredible outpouring of love for #MyMomJayne.
'It means the world to me. Because of the beautiful, overwhelming response, WE'VE JUST RELEASED MORE TICKETS for our @tribeca premiere at @carnegiehall!'
She concluded the note, 'I can't wait to share this story with you. See you THIS Friday, June 13th. #LinkInBio.'
Mariska was supported by Hollywood A-listers including many of her Law & Order co-stars like Ice-T.
The rapper-turned-actor, 67, was joined on the red carpet by wife of 23 years Coco Austin, 46, and their nine-year-old daughter Chanel.
The family-of-three coordinated in red, white, and black outfits and big smiles.
Ice-T, real name Tracy Marrow, wore black trousers, a short-sleeved white collared shirt, and white Jordan sneakers.
His daughter looked adorable in a floral patterned white dress and red cardigan.
And his model wife stepped out in a curve-hugging black dress covered in pink and peach florals.
Another co-star and friend, Christopher Meloni, 64, stepped out for the event.
Meloni wore faded blue jeans with a dark gray button-up shirt and brown lace-up dress boots.
He looked great with a perfectly groomed grizzled goatee.
Brooke Shields, who, like Mariska, is also a documentary filmmaker, arrived in a green sequin pantsuit.
The 60-year-old supermodel looked phenomenal as she teased her cleavage under her suit jacket and wore matching emerald stone earrings.
Her long and lustrous copper-toned locks were arranged in fluffy spiral curls that tumbled over her chest.
Claire Danes, 46, made the premiere a date night, showing up with husband Hugh Dancy, 49.
The mother-of-three looked lovely in a bright orange dress and shrunken, black leather moto jacket.
Jamie Lee Curtis, 66, kept it classic in a little black dress with a white accent at the neckline.
The Hollywood vet rounded out the look with pointy-toe black heels and complemented the look with standout eyeglasses.
Her signature short gray hair was styled in a pixie with wispy pieces at the top.
Cher also stepped out for the screening, and the 79-year-old singer looked younger than her years.
She was dressed in wide-leg black trousers with a single white stripe down the legs.
The fashion-forward star added a fitted black leather jacket with decorative graphic print sleeves.

Only banjos in the building: Steve Martin will co-host the 2025 IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards

Get those banjos ready, because this isn't a joke: Actor and comedy legend Steve Martin will co-host the IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards for the first time, alongside Grammy-award winning roots musician Alison Smith. This year's show will take place Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium. Fans are able to purchase tickets via Ticketmaster. 'I'm thrilled to be hosting with Alison Brown, and connecting with all my bluegrass friends as opposed to my kinda dumb comedy friends,' Martin said in a statement. 'The IBMA Awards show is always one of my very favorite nights of the year,' Brown added. 'I'm so honored to co-host this year with my banjo pal Steve Martin.' Martin is a longtime lover of bluegrass, first picking up the banjo as a teenager. He's released a number of albums and even created the bluegrass musical 'Bright Star ' for Broadway — a complex love story set against the American South written by Martin and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Edie Brickell. In addition to their hosting duties, Martin and Brown's collaborative single, '5 Days Out, 2 Days Back,' has been nominated in three categories: song of the year, music video of the year and collaborative recording of the year. IBMA is the International Bluegrass Music Association.

Country star Miranda Lambert shares VERY cheeky response to her viral wardrobe malfunction

After more than two decades in the music industry, artists definitely develop a strong sense of self-confidence. And Miranda Lambert is proving just that with her 'cheeky' response to haters after a TikTok video of her shocking wardrobe malfunction went viral. A fan at Miranda's July 25 concert at Lumen Field in Seattle recorded the star onstage in a miniskirt, and because of the angle - and the help of the miniskirt - fans were able to see her derriere. After this video went viral, Miranda, 41, decided to embrace the moment. In a TikTok posted in the aftermath of the original video, Miranda posted a video of her own as she walked on stage with her 2014 song Little Red Wagon playing over it. The overlaid text on screen read, 'It ain't my fault when walkin jaws droppin like ooooo ahhhh,' referencing lyrics to the same song. In the caption she wrote, 'I've been warning y'all about my backyard swagger since 2014,' followed by the kissy-face emoji. And fans rushed to the comments to praise Miranda for embracing the mishap. A fan at Miranda's July 25 concert at Lumen Field in Seattle recorded the star onstage in a miniskirt, and because of the angle - and the help of the miniskirt - fans were able to see her derriere 'She wins the internet today. Best. Clap. back. Ever!!!' one fan commented on the TikTok. 'Yes girl way to respond to the haters!' another said. Others complimented Miranda on her toned body. 'Miranda. I saw it and immediately thought GOALS. 'Your hamstrings and glutes had me jealous!!' one fan wrote. 'Still trying to get my jaw off the floor,' another said. Many applauded her confidence - something that Miranda has spoken candidly about in recent years. In an interview with Health, she spoke about her ongoing body issues throughout the years and how she finally got to a comfortable space - something that has made performing less anxiety-inducing for her. 'It's so good to find your place,' she said. 'I don't like being onstage worrying about my body. That's the last thing I want to be thinking about. I don't give my best performance when I'm distracted by my insecurities.' She recalled the story of a young girl who came up to her at a concert and mentioned that she had thrown away her scale because of Miranda. 'That gave me confidence to be like, "Whatever state you're in, you've gotta rock it" she said.

Lauren Sanchez looks VERY fresh-faced as her surprise cameo in Fantastic Four resurfaces

Lauren Sanchez has stunned fans after her surprise cameo in the Fantastic Four Marvel movie resurfaced. The former TV anchor, 55, who recently made headlines for her extravagant multi-day wedding to Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos, has never shied away from the spotlight. The brunette beauty is now the Vice Chair of the Bezos Earth Fund but previously graced viewers' screens in a series of shock cameos. Most recently, Lauren's blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance in the 2025 superhero film began recirculating - nearly two decades after the film first hit theaters. And, for the scene, she played none other than herself as a news reporter covering the X Games in New York City. Lauren was only 35 at the time, and fans couldn't help but praise her glowing complexion and confident on-screen presence. 'I forgot that Lauren Sanchez was in Fantastic Four,' one wrote on X (formerly Twitter). 'Lauren Sanchez used to do all kinds of cameos. This is her in a quick scene, as a reporter, from the 2005 version of Fantastic Four,' someone else shared. Lauren also appeared in the 2007 sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer as a TV anchor. She played the role alongside other cast members Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Ioan Gruffudd, and Julian McMahon. While filming, Bezos' bride struck up a close friendship with Jessica, who played Sue Storm. Their bond stood the test of time as Jessica was among the star-studded guest list at Lauren's lavish June wedding to Bezos in Venice. But it was far from her only appearance in cinema - as the former journalist also played similar roles in major movies like Fight Club and The Day After Tomorrow. Lauren's resurfaced clip comes as fans are ecstatic about the latest Fantastic Four film that just hit theaters. The Fantastic Four: First Steps stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn as the powerful team. It premiered in the US on July 25 and raked in an estimated $118 million domestically and another $100 million overseas, for a global debut of around $220 million on opening weekend. Heading into the weekend, projections had forecast a $115 million North American take for the Fantastic Four movie, making First Steps one of the studio's best-performing non-sequel debuts in recent years. The film, which introduces a fresh version of Marvel's original superhero team, cost at least $300 million to produce and market. And unlike many recent Marvel entries, First Steps doesn't require fans to brush up on previous films or plot lines to understand what's happening. The standalone approach appears to be paying off. Marvel has seen several stumbles in recent years, including 2021's Eternals and this year's Thunderbolts, which have grossed just $382 million — the studio's lowest total (adjusted for inflation) since it launched its cinematic universe in 2008. Sequels haven't fared much better, fueling chatter about 'superhero fatigue.'
