Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi co-starred in the 2022 film Double XL. The film also featured Sonakshi's husband, Zaheer Iqbal.
Sonakshi most recently appeared in the thriller film Nikita Roy, which was released in theatres on July 18. The film, directed by Sonakshi's brother Kussh S Sinha, stars Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal, and Suhail Nayyar in leading roles. She is preparing to play a lawyer in the upcoming legal drama directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. She is also preparing to widen her horizons with her Telugu debut project, Jatadhara.
On the other hand, Huma Qureshi will be seen in Baby Do Die Do, the first film from Huma and Saqib Saleem's newly founded production company, Saleem Siblings. She will also appear in Jolly LLB 3, opposite Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla. The fourth season of the famous series Maharani is also in the works, with an ensemble cast that includes Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Anuja Sathe, Sushil Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Sohum Shah.
