Michelle Obama Shuts Down Divorce Rumors With Sweet Father's Day Tribute to Barack
A post shared by instagram
Her post was reminiscent of what Barack posted for her on Mother's Day in May, when he wrote, "@MichelleObama, the girls and I are so lucky to have you in our lives. We love you."
The couple's show of unity follows months of speculation about the state of their relationship. Michelle set the record straight as she discussed the rumors during an appearance on the "Work in Progress" podcast with Sophia Bush in April.
Her absence from high-profile events earlier this year, such as President Jimmy Carter's funeral and the inauguration of Donald Trump, had led to rumors of a feud. Without referencing these events, Michelle said, "I'm at the point in my life where I'm making a set of decisions for myself.." Some people, she added,"couldn't even fathom that I was making a choice for myself, that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing."
Michelle pointed to the societal pressures placed on women, saying, "That's the thing that we as women struggle with: disappointing people."
She added during the podcast that she "chose to do what was best for me. Not what I had to do. Not what I thought other people wanted me to do." A 32-Year Marriage
The Obamas, who were married in 1992, marked their 32nd wedding anniversary in October. In interviews in the past and in her best-selling memoir, "Becoming," Michelle has publicly discussed how the pressures of Barack's political career strained their relationship, and that his wanting more was often too much of a reminder of how alone it could leave her.
The mom-of-two reiterated about their marriage during a podcast appearance on "The Diary of A CEO" in May, stating clearly, "That's not who we are," and adding, "I know that about him. He knows that about me."

American Who Moved His Family to Russia to Dodge 'Woke' US Policies Finds Himself On Front Lines in Ukraine: 'Thrown to the Wolves'
A Texas man who moved his family to Russia hoping to dodge what he called "woke" American policies has been sent to the front lines of the war in Ukraine. Derek Huffman, 46, planned to join the military in a non-combat role as a welder after moving to Russia earlier this year with his wife and three children. However, his wife said that he has since ended up on the front lines after after joining the Russian military to help speed up his track to citizenship, Euromaiden Press reported. In a now-deleted video to the family's YouTube page, where Huffman and his wife DeAnna post about their life living in Russia, DeAnna asked for prayers after revealing where her husband was told he was "going straight to the front lines" after completing limited training in Russian, according to the Daily Beast. "He feels like he's being thrown to the wolves right now, and he's kind of having to lean on faith, and that's what we're all doing," DeAnna said. The family previously shared a clip of Derek in his military attire from Father's Day, in which he shared he was hoping for a "vacation" soon. "I can't wait to see you, hopefully I get a vacation at some point and I get to go home and spend a couple of weeks with you," he said. "But man, you're on my mind 24/7 and just know that what I'm doing is important to me and important to our family. Just know I will do whatever it takes to be safe and to come home to you. Take care of each other." On their social media pages, the Huffman family has praised a program by American media personality Tim Kirby allowing Americans to move to the country. He previously called Russia "a country that respects family values" after claiming that "woke ideology" was taking over the U.S., as reported by the Daily Mail. Meanwhile, DeAnna shared that her family allegedly has not been paid yet for Derek's time in the military. Originally published on Latin Times

Meghan shared a touching video on 15 June, featuring never-before-seen footage of Harry playing, cuddling, and teaching their children, Archie and Lilibet. The compilation offers a candid look at the Sussex family's everyday life, set to Jason Mraz's 'Have It All'. A post shared by instagram A Personal Tribute with Unseen Family Moments The Duchess posted a lengthy montage that includes clips of Harry holding Archie on his lap in their garden in Montecito, California, and sharing wholesome moments on the beach and at a waterfall. Among the highlights is Harry teaching Archie how to cycle, with laughter echoing through the footage. The video also captures Harry playing with Lilibet, feeding a horse, and cuddling her on a plane sitting by the ocean. Meghan's caption simply reads, 'Happy Father's Day to our favourite guy,' underscoring her admiration for her husband. She included a photograph of a garden banner with the message, hanging proudly in their home, showing Harry clutching the children tightly. Archie's Face Finally Revealed Until now, Archie's face has largely remained out of the public eye. Meghan's recent posts suggest a shift towards sharing more intimate moments of her children's lives. The video shows Archie's red hair clearly, and his joyful personality shines through as he kicks a ball and laughs with Harry. Lilibet's interactions with animals and her playful spirit are also on display, including her feeding carrots to a horse and engaging with goats outside. The clips provide a rare window into the Sussexes' life since they stepped back from royal duties in 2020. They are seen enjoying family trips in scenic locations, with shots of Archie and Lilibet racing along sandy beaches and splashing in the sea. These glimpses have become more frequent over recent months, indicating a desire to share their family life more openly. This shift reflects a desire to balance their privacy with their wish to share special moments. The inclusion of Archie's face, in particular, marks a notable change, allowing fans to see the boy's cheerful personality and recognise his individuality. The images also suggest a family that values normalcy and joy, despite their high-profile lives. Originally published on IBTimes UK
