A Union County player matched all five white balls and the Cash Ball drawn on Wednesday, May 14, to win the Cash 4 Life top prize.
The player selected the cash option and will receive the lump sum award of $7 million.
The $7 million prize is the NJ Lottery's second largest of 2025, behind a $32 million Pick-6 win on Monday, Jan. 20, in Ocean County. The last time a NJ player won the top prize in Cash 4 Life was Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Quick Stop Deli & Grill, 1723 Stuyvesant Ave. in Union Township, will receive a $30,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The winning numbers were 02, 16, 30, 42 and 55. The Cash Ball was 03.
In addition, 8,396 other players won $48,144 in cash prizes ranging from $2 to $500 with 2,497 of those tickets doubling their prize with Doubler.
Cash 4 Life offers two jackpot prizes for the $2 ticket price. The top prize is $1,000 a day for life, with a current cash value of $7 million, and the second prize is $1,000 a week for life, with a cash value of $1 million. In addition to the 'for Life' prizes, the Cash 4 Life game offers seven other prize levels with prizes of $2,500, $500, $100, $25, $10, $4, and $2. The Doubler add-on feature lifts the $2,500 third-tier prize to $5,000 when added to a game play for an additional $1 per play. It also doubles all of the other tier prizes. The $1,000 a day for life and $1,000 a week for life prizes are not doubled.
Cash 4 Life tickets are available in New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia. Players select five numbers from a field of one through 60 and a 'Cash Ball' from a field of one through four. Drawings are held every day at about 9 p.m.

GAAP book value of $10.37 per share of common stock and economic book value of $12.97 per share of common stock as of June 30, 2025, decreases of 3.1% and 3.3%, respectively, from March 31, 2025. Sreeni Prabhu, Chief Executive Officer and President of Angel Oak Mortgage REIT, Inc., said "The second quarter of 2025 was an active one for AOMR, as we completed two securitizations in addition to issuing $42.5 million of senior unsecured notes in May. These transactions are designed to support our strategic goal of earnings growth through accretive capital markets participation and diligent capital deployment. We quickly deployed the capital from this quarter's senior unsecured notes issuance into high-quality, current market coupon non-QM loans and other target assets." He continued, "As such, we expect to resume our quarterly sequential net interest income growth in the next quarter, as demonstrated with 2024's senior unsecured notes issuance. As always, we will remain committed to growing long-term shareholder value through disciplined risk management, securitization execution, and strategic capital deployment.' Portfolio and Investment Activity In April 2025, the Company issued AOMT 2025-4, a $284.3 million scheduled unpaid principal balance securitization backed by a pool of residential mortgage loans. We issued AOMT 2025-4 as the sole participant in the securitization. We used the proceeds to repay outstanding debt of approximately $242.4 million, and the $24.7 million of cash released was used for new loan purchases and operational purposes. In May 2025, we participated in AOMT 2025-6, an approximately $349.7 million scheduled unpaid principal balance securitization backed by a pool of residential mortgage loans, to which we contributed loans with a scheduled principal balance of $87.2 million. We used the proceeds of the securitization to repay outstanding debt of approximately $73.1 million, and retained bonds of $8.1 million. The securitization released $9.2 million of cash, which was used for operational purposes. We participated in this securitization alongside other Angel Oak entities. During the quarter ended June 30, 2025, the Company purchased $146.6 million of newly-originated, current market coupon non-QM residential mortgage loans and home equity lines of credit ("HELOC"), with a weighted average coupon of 8.68%, a weighted average combined loan-to-value ratio (or 'CLTV', calculated as the primary or first lien mortgage loan amount plus any additional borrowings secured by the property, such as a HELOC, divided by the estimated value of the property) of 68.4% and a weighted average credit score of 757. As of June 30, 2025, the weighted average coupon of our residential whole loans portfolio was 8.37%, marking a 66 basis point increase compared to June 30, 2024. Capital Markets Activity In May 2025, we closed an underwritten public offering and sale of, and issued, $42.5 million in aggregate principal amount of our 9.750% Senior Notes due 2030 (the '2030 Notes'). The 2030 Notes bear interest at a rate of 9.750% per annum. After deducting the underwriting discount and other debt issuance costs, we received net proceeds of approximately $40.6 million. We used the majority of the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which included the acquisition of non-QM loans and other target assets in a manner consistent with our strategy and investment guidelines. As of June 30, 2025, the Company was a party to three loan financing lines which permit borrowings in an aggregate amount of up to $1.1 billion, of which approximately $118.6 million is drawn, leaving capacity of approximately $931.4 million for new loan purchases. Balance Sheet Target assets totaled $2.5 billion as of June 30, 2025. The Company held residential mortgage whole loans with fair value of $200.7 million as of June 30, 2025. As of June 30, 2025, the Company's recourse debt to equity ratio was approximately 1.1x. We believe that the presentation of Distributable Earnings provides investors with a useful measure to facilitate comparisons of financial performance among our real estate investment trust ('REIT') peers, but has important limitations. We believe Distributable Earnings as described above helps evaluate our financial performance without the impact of certain transactions but is of limited usefulness as an analytical tool. To calculate our economic book value, the portions of our non-recourse financing obligation held at amortized cost are adjusted to fair value. These adjustments are also reflected in our end of period total stockholders' equity.
