The best running watch I've tested for most people is $100 off — get the lowest price ever now
The fantastic little watch just dropped to $349 from $449 on Amazon in both the 42mm and the 46mm versions. The watch has been replaced by the newly released Garmin Forerunner 570 as the brand's mid-tier Forerunner, but don't let this put you off — it's still a fantastic running watch to have on your wrist, whatever you're training for.
The Forerunner 265 is on sale in both sizes right now on Amazon. In the larger 46mm watch, it looks like the deal is on the aqua and black color watch. In the 42mm version, the watch is on sale in black/yellow, white, and pink. Act fast, this deal won't be around forever.
In Garmin Forerunner 265 review, I said it was the best Garmin running watch for most people, and I stand by my decision, even with newer, snazzier watches on the market two years later. The Forerunner 265 is extremely light and comfortable, with a stunning AMOLED screen, and it has a lot of the advanced training features usually reserved for Garmin's more premium watches.
At the time I wrote, 'The Forerunner 265 feels like a more premium running watch and it's all thanks to its beautiful screen. I've loved having this watch on my wrist — it's slim, it's lightweight, and when next to my Garmin Fenix 7, it looks so much brighter, whether I'm in the gym, or out in direct sunlight.'
Next to my Apple Watch, the Forerunner 265 is lighter and more comfortable. I wear the 42mm version, which has a 15-day battery life in smartwatch mode, and a 24-hour battery life in GPS mode. The larger 46mm 265 has 13 days in smartwatch mode, and 20 hours in GPS mode.
Normally, it's the larger of the two watches that has the longer battery life, but it seems with the bigger and brighter screen, the larger 265 will need charging ever so slightly sooner.
If you're training for your first race or just hoping to get faster and stronger, this watch has plenty of features to help you train better and recover faster. It's a fantastic gadget to have on your wrist, and at $349, it's a fantastic price right now.

Anker's MagGo 3-in-1 Charging Station Hits Lowest Price, Adapter Included in This 4.7-Star Deal
Anyone who's into clean spatial arrangements and efficient multitasking will surely appreciate this new limited-time Amazon deal. The Anker MagGo 3-in-1 MagSafe charging stand brings 15W of fast Qi2-certified power to your three favorite pieces of Apple tech — the iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch — and it's back to its record low price of just $63. The Anker MagGo is designed for Apple devices, with an extra burst of fast-charging power for the Apple Watch in particular. It can bring an Apple Watch 10 from 0 to 100% power in just over an hour, nearly 3x faster than other wireless chargers. Your iPhone can be charged in landscape or portrait mode, which helps with display for a desk or nightstand. And it does all this while occupying a very small footprint no bigger than your coffee mug. See at Amazon That ultra-rapid charge time for the Apple Watch also works with your iPhone — an iPhone 16 Pro Max, the biggest of the current Apple fleet, can go from completely dead to 20% charge in just 20 minutes, less than half the charging time yu get from competing chargers. The MagSafe charging base that holds the iPhone is super secure, and you can tilt it by as much as 45 degrees in order to keep it in use at your ideal viewing angle while it fast-charges. As compatibility goes, as long as you're dealing with Apple tech, it's virtually universal. The Anker MagGo works with AirPods from the 2 up to the current 4 and Pro 2 models, iPhones going back to the 12 Series (with the exception of the 16e), and literally every Apple Watch all the way back to the 1. The only caveat with the iPhone is that it needs to be in a magnetic case, or without a case — metal cases, non-MagSafe cases, and wallet cases with the cards at the back of the phone will not allow it to charge on the MagGo. The Anker MagGo occupies only a tiny footprint, but it's an attractive addition to your desk or bedside table, with a curved design in either black or white. It comes with the 40W charging block (USB-C only) and a generous 5-foot USB-C cable, and of course it's simple plug-and-play, or rather, plug-and-charge. Anker's status as the world's leading mobile charging brand comes from compact, fast-charging, attractive, and well-priced devices like the MagGo 3-in-1 Charging Station. If you're still using 3 cords to charge your 3 Apple devices, here's how you narrow that down to just one while charging everything faster and with the safety that comes with an Anker charger. It's a terrific deal at just $63 after Amazon's limited-time 30% discount. See at Amazon

Maryland's first-in-the-nation tax on digital ads violated Big Tech's free speech, judges say
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland's first-in-the-nation tax on digital advertising violated the Constitution, a federal appeals court says, because blocking Big Tech from telling customers about the tax violates the companies' right to free speech. Supporters say Maryland needed to overhaul its tax methods in response to significant changes in how businesses advertise. The tax focuses on large companies that make money advertising on the internet such as Meta, Google and Amazon, who say they're being unfairly targeted. The ongoing legal fight is being watched by other states that are considering taxes for online ads. Maryland estimated the tax could raise about $250 million a year to help pay for a sweeping K-12 education measure. Maryland's law says the companies must not only pay the tax, but avoid telling customers how it affects pricing, with no line items, surcharges or fees, said the appeals court Friday in siding with trade associations fighting the tax. Judge Julius Richardson cited the Colonial-era Stamp Act, which helped spark the Revolutionary War, and wrote that 'criticizing the government — for taxes or anything else — is important discourse in a democratic society.' The plaintiffs contended Maryland lawmakers were trying to insulate themselves from criticism and political accountability by forbidding companies from explaining the tax to their customers. 'A state cannot duck criticism by silencing those affected by its tax,' the judge wrote. The unanimous ruling by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reverses a decision by U.S. District Judge Lydia Kay Griggsby and sends the case back to her with instructions to consider an appropriate remedy in light of the panel's decision. Trade groups praised the decision. 'Maryland tried to prevent criticism of its tax scheme, and the Fourth Circuit recognized that tactic for what it was: censorship,' said Paul Taske, co-director of the NetChoice Litigation Center, said in a statement. The law imposes a tax based on global annual gross revenues for companies that make more than $100 million globally. Under the law, the tax rate is 2.5% for businesses making more than $100 million in global gross annual revenue; 5% for companies making $1 billion or more; 7.5% for companies making $5 billion or more and 10% for companies making $15 billion or more. The law has been challenged in multiple legal venues, including Maryland Tax Court, where the case is ongoing. The Maryland General Assembly, which is controlled by Democrats, overrode a veto of the legislation in 2021 by then-Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican. Brian Witte, The Associated Press
