Justin Timberlake pleads guilty in DWI case, ordered to conduct PSA
"I try to hold myself to a very high standard." Justin Timberlake plead guilty to a lesser charge in DWI case. Now he's been ordered to make a PSA.
Justin Timberlake fans faced unexpected disappointment Thursday night when the singer canceled his Columbus, Ohio, show just moments before it was set to begin.
The 10-time Grammy Award-winning artist has been traveling across the U.S. for his Forget Tomorrow world tour.
On Thursday, doors had already opened at Nationwide Arena when Timberlake posted on social media that he would not be taking the stage for the final show on the North American leg of the tour. The opener act was scheduled to begin performing moments after Timberlake's announcement.
"I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it's gotten the best of me," Timberlake said via his Instagram.

"You guys. I'm heartbroken," the former NSYNC frontman wrote. "It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen."
Ohio-based fans have poor luck when it comes to Timberlake. In October, the singer and songwriter canceled another scheduled performance after contracting both laryngitis and bronchitis.
Timberlake assured attendees on social media that they would receive refunds. The cancellation marks a bittersweet ending − Thursday night's performance was set to be the last show on the North American leg of the tour. Whether the show will be rescheduled for a later date is still to be determined.
Ticketmaster confirmed the availability of a refund, writing on its website, "You don't need to do a thing. We'll issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, as soon as funds are received from the Event Organizer. It should appear on your account within 14-21 days."
In March, the "SexyBack" singer will set out again this time in Europe and South America, returning briefly in May to perform at the Napa Valley music festival BottleRock.
Concert review: Justin Timberlake exudes sincerity at Baltimore show a week after apparent joke about DWI
Justin Timberlake concert cancellations follow DWI arrest
The world tour, in support of his sixth studio album, "Everything I thought I Was," became an unlikely topic of conversation in June when Timberlake was arrested for a DWI in the Hamptons by an officer who allegedly failed to recognize him.
Timberlake was pulled over in his 2025 BMW after failing to stop at a stop sign and "maintain his lane of travel." "Upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated position," according to the Sag Harbor Village Police Department.
Timberlake told police he had one martini, according to a report by The New York Times.

A meme was born out of a tabloid rumor that recounted an alleged exchange in which Timberlake muttered under his breath "This is going to ruin the tour," and when the cop reportedly replied, "What tour?" Justin answered, "The world tour."
While the reported exchange was never verified, the quote instantly took off, tearing through social media sites as the joke du jour with every-day people co-opting it to describe disruptions in their own lives.
In the meantime, aside from Ohio and another cancellation in Oklahoma City due to back injury, the tour has in fact not been ruined − carrying on as planned.

Featured pricing is subject to change. Long live 2005. A Day To Remember and Yellowcard just announced they're striking out on the nationwide 'Maximum Fun Tour' from September through November this year. While on the road, the anti-establishment co-headliners have two shows scheduled in New York and New Jersey. First up, they hit Syracuse, NY's Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheatre on Wednesday, Sept. 10. Then, the pair is scheduled to melt faces at Camden, NJ's Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Thursday, Sept. 11. On select dates, the raucous duo will be joined by special guests State Champs, The Wonder Years, Boundaries and Dinosaur Pile-Up. This run comes on the heels of the release of A Day To Remember's eighth studio album 'Big Ole Album Vol. 1,' which hit shelves earlier this year. As for Yellowcard, their first record in a decade, the Travis Barker-produced 'Better Days' allegedly drops Oct. 10. In addition to the tour and new output, both acts also have Vans Warped Tour dates lined up this summer and fall. Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming A Day To Remember shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 'Maximum Fun Tour' is Friday, June 6. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. Vans Warped Tour On top of the co-headlining jaunt, both ADTR and Yellowcard will take part in the recently-resurrected Vans Warped Tour. If you want to be there, here's where the action is going down at the three-part festival these next few months. A Day To Remember set list Ahead of the North American tour, A Day To Remember has been performing all over the UK and Europe. Based on our findings at Set List FM, here's what they performed at a recent gig in Paris. 01.) 'The Downfall of Us All' 02.) 'I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?' 03.) '2nd Sucks' 04.) 'Ocean Avenue' A Day To Remember new music Just a few months ahead of the tour announcement, A Day To Remember unveiled their eighth studio album 'Big Ole Album Vol. 1.' As always, the group oscillates between melodic pop, angsty punk and full-on metal, which creates a sense of whiplash while listening. There's little room to breathe but that's not necessary when a record is as much of a shot of adrenaline as 'Big Ole Album Vol. 1' is. Highlights here include the fist-pumping rocker 'Feedback,' melodic country-esque ode to buddies 'All My Friends' and invigorating 'LeBron.' All that being said, others may have a totally different interpretation of the record depending on taste. Our favorites here lean punk- some listeners may prefer the heavy metal. ADTR really caters to totally different audiences and that's part of what makes them so special. Want to give the album a spin? Click here to rock out to 'Big Ole Album Vol. 1.' Yellowcard new music Ahead of the release of 'Better Days,' Yellowcard has dropped a pair of hard-charging singles. The title track 'Better Days' kicks things off with a bit of feedback before launching into the group's anthemic sound — soaring vocals and rockin' guitar — and hit overdrive. It's a delight. Up next, 'honestly i' is a bit more unconventional with its shaky accordian-like sound off the top. Speedy percussions steady the operation and by a minute in, the song returns to classic Yellowcard territory. To hear for yourself, you can find both tracks here. 'Maximum Fun Tour' special guests In the off chance you need to brush up on the opening acts' respective sounds, here's each artist's most-streamed song on Spotify. State Champs: 'Secrets' The Wonder Years: 'Came Out Swinging' Boundaries: 'Easily Erased' Dinosaur Pile-Up: 'Back Foot' Huge acts on tour in 2025 Need more genre-bending punk and metal in your life?
