Lake Victoria back to her brilliant best in Irish 1,000 Guineas
That run clearly brought her along perfectly for the Irish equivalent, and after racing happily on the rail she accelerated away neatly when asked at the two-furlong pole and was a comfortable two-and-a-quarter-length winner from Adrian Murray's 50-1 shot California Dreamer.

'All the people around her have done an incredible job with her. She was only ready to start going to Newmarket. We were going to come here first time, but the way it worked she went there,' said O'Brien.
'We thought she ran an incredible race (at Newmarket) in the circumstances. Ryan looked after her and was over the moon with her.
'Everything went well (from there), it doesn't always go right but everything went great since Newmarket and her work was out of this world.
'We never had a filly that could win a Group One over six, seven and a mile before as a two-year-old.
'She went to Newmarket getting ready for a racecourse gallop and was beaten only a length or two in the Guineas. She has all the speed in the world, she travels and does everything.
'Ryan gave her an incredible ride. He had her in a perfect position and when he had to make a gap he was able to make a gap. When he asked her to quicken the last furlong she really did for him.'
A big thumbs up from Aidan O'Brien (Niall Carson/PA)
It is likely the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot now awaits the filly.
'The plan was to come here and go to the Coronation, that's always been the plan for her. Obviously the lads will decide that, but I'd imagine if everything is well and everyone is happy that's where she will go.
'Ryan had a big smile, I haven't seen him smile like that for a long time! He had her in the perfect position, but he still had to make a hole. We couldn't be happier with her. The ground was beautiful and everything worked lovely for her.'
Paddy Power and Betfair went 13-8 for the Coronation Stakes, with Coral 5-4.

What could the planned UFC fight at the White House look like?
It's a seismic moment in a sporting promotion that has had a stratospheric rise since its inception three decades ago. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to be staged at The White House next year, when longtime fan Donald Trump is likely to be in the front row as the fighters battle it out on the lawn. Marking the July 4 celebrations, 250 years on from the founding of the United States, it promises to be quite a spectacle. And British and Irish MMA fighters will almost certainly be entering the Octagon if the history-making event goes ahead. UFC boss Dana White, whose friendship with Trump stretches back to the early 2000s, said: 'It is definitely going to happen.' White explained that he plans to finalise the plans with the US president and his daughter Ivanka at the end of the month. While the UFC has been staged all over the world, it would be the first time that it has been hosted in the seat of power. The main fight events are large arena shows drawing tens of thousands of people, and it's unclear where exactly where the show would take place, but it's thought it would be staged on the lawn. 'When he called me and asked me to do it, he said, 'I want Ivanka in the middle of this,'' White told CBS Mornings of his discussions with Trump. 'So Ivanka reached out to me and her and I started talking about the possibilities, where it would be and, you know, I put together all the renderings.' Trump previously said that a UFC event will take place 'on the grounds of the White House' on Independence Day. 'We have a lot of land there,' he added. The president, speaking at a rally in Iowa last month, said the event could be staged in front of between 20,000 and 25,000 people. An AI image produced by a picture agency shows the eight-sided cage in front of the presidential building in Washington DC. In real life, the arena would likely be comprised of thousands of seats, with room for light shows and performers. What is clear is that the UFC can put on extravagant shows, best exemplified by the dazzling spectacle at the Las Vegas Sphere for Mexican Independence Weekend in September 2024. British undisputed UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall is the most obvious pick for a UK fighter to feature on the White House card. However, in conversation with combat sports broadcaster Ariel Helwani, it became clear that he is concentrating on his upcoming fight with Frenchman Ciryl Gane in October. Aspinall said the thought of a White House fight with Jon 'Bones' Jones, widely regarded as having ducked the Brit before leaving retiring, had occupied 'zero seconds in my mind.' The champion, from Wigan, explained: 'Not interested, and the world shouldn't be interested, because what's the point? It's false hope.' Asked if he would still be interested in fighting at the White House without Jones making an unlikely comeback, he replied: 'Not particularly, it doesn't not interest me, but it doesn't really interest me to be honest. I'm not really fussed by it, I'll fight anywhere, it doesn't really bother me. 'It would be a cool experience but I'm not like…I feel like the Americans should get the shot at the White House, I'm not American, Trump and the political stance in America doesn't really bother me. 'I'm not really a big Trump supporter or against that stuff is just irrelevant to me.' Also speaking to Helwani, UFC fighter Michael Chandler, who was soundly beaten by Scouser Paddy Pimblett in April, said he would 'love' to fight the Irish former two-times champion at the venue. More Trending 'That's the one everyone wants, that's the pinnacle,' he said of the yet to be announced White House card. 'As a fighter you want the biggest stages the brightest lights the biggest money you possibly can with the shortest window of opportunity you have in the sport and fighting on the White House lawn with the president of the United States… 'I was just with someone else from his team and he said people from England will be coming to pay their respects, it's going to be special.' Aidan O'Brien ‘very sweet' on little-known horse who's halved in price for £500,000 Ebor at York
His last run was an eyecatcher LONDON CALLING Aidan O'Brien 'very sweet' on little-known horse who's halved in price for £500,000 Ebor at York Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AIDAN O'BRIEN is 'very sweet' on a little-known horse who's halved in price for the £500,000 Ebor at York. The blockbuster 1m6f handicap is the feature race of the Ebor meeting and will be run live on ITV1 on Saturday week. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 London City, the grey in the blue and orange silks seen here finishing behind Group 1 winner Al Riffa, has halved in price for the Ebor and Aidan O'Brien is said to be 'very sweet' on the four-year-old's chances in the big York handicap worth £500,000 Credit: Inpho Willie Mullins currently has the 7-2 favourite in the shape of recent Galway winner Hipop De Loire. But as good as Mullins is at targeting Flat races with his dual purpose stars, no one can match O'Brien. That being said, it's the Group races he gobbles up. O'Brien has won the Ebor only once, when three-year-old Mediterranean held on under Mick Kinane to win at 16-1 24 years ago. He's drawn a blank since then, with Mullins winning it twice and fellow Irish jumps trainers Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead getting involved too. Mullins has a strong hand this year with Ethical Diamond also short in the betting. But one who is continually being clipped is O'Brien's London City, who has been slashed from 20-1 to as short as 10s. A son of Justify, the four-year-old colt is out of O'Brien's multiple Group 1-winning mare Winter. He already has a win at York to his name, winning a Class 3 handicap over 1m4f on the Knavesmire in May last year. A disappointing run at Listed level the following month came before a 372-day break. London City was again down the field in a big handicap at the Curragh in June but caught the eye at Group 2 level when last seen. In the rear throughout under Ronan Whelan, the 33-1 grey was miles out of it at the weights but gained some ground late on to finish sixth in a 1m6f race won by Group 1 winner Al Riffa. London City is set to carry 9st8lb in the Ebor - 2lb less than Hipop De Loire - and looks open to any amount of improvement. Indeed, a recent Sporting Life article said O'Brien was 'very sweet' on his chances during a recent yard visit. Ex-Celtic star reveals his hack for getting FREE Oasis tickets after blagging last-minute brief from Liam Gallagher
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) EVERY one of the 200,000 Scots who were lucky enough to attend one of the Oasis comeback gigs in Edinburgh this summer will have their own story as to how they got their hands on tickets. Some fought through tooth and nail when the general sale went live. Others rushed to the pre-sale. Plenty paid hundreds of pounds for second-hand briefs. Cillian Sheridan's footie career has taken him all around the world... and he's now here to spread the word on how he blagged a brief completely scot-free. The 36-year-old started his pro career in Glasgow's east end but has since played in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Poland, Australia and Israel. In addition to the Hoops, he has starred in Scotland for Motherwell, St Johnstone, Kilmarnock, Dundee, Inverness and Queen's Park and is currently at Brechin City. Now as a part-time footballer, Sheridan was able to slide away during the week to attend the legendary Manchester group's third and final comeback concert at Murrayfield Stadium. The capital venue hosted around 70,000 fans each night, including two former Celtic heroes in Neil Lennon and Simon Donnelly. Joining them was Sheridan - but his route to the capital was rather different. He revealed that he met frontman Liam Gallagher at his hotel after playing a round of golf. Sheridan teed it up at the famous Gleneagles and on the way back to his car after his round, he bumped into the singer - and crucially he DIDN'T ask for a photo. He said: "Here's my hack to Oasis tickets. Ex-Celtic star goes wild as he does the huddle at Oasis gig with 70,000 fans "Go for a round of golf in the morning, on your way back to your car bump into Liam Gallagher at his hotel. "Here's the important bit. DON'T ask for a photo, instead chance your arm & ask for a ticket! "Not how I thought my day would pan out! Legend!" Sheridan included the words alongside a picture of his view at the gig, revelling with the other fans in the Scottish sunshine. Given Sheridan's heritage, one fan posited one theory as to how he ended up with a free ticket. They said: "Luck of the Irish." 3 Cillian Sheridan in action for Brechin City Credit: SNS Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
