Allowed to work home last in her two recent trials. PATISSIER (3) ended his first campaign with a second to Strawberry Impact over this track and distance. Hit the line strongly from last when third to Ridgeback in his Hawkesbury trial on July 7. HAMMOON HEROINE (4) is a debutant by Zoustar. Nice trial behind Miracle Spin at Randwick.

CINSAULT (1) gets her chance to break through for her maiden win. Placed in metropolitan company in her first seven starts. Sat outside the leader when runner-up to Cross Tasman over this trip at Hawkesbury last start. GYRA (2) ran a handy race on debut when second to Atomic Clock on the Beaumont last December before finishing sixth at her next two runs twice in town. ENTRAPMENT (8) is a first starter by Star Witness. Tracked the leader came along the fence for a three-quarter length second to Savvy Hallie in her Rosehill trial.

RACE 3: Win Corporation Mdn Plate 1300m
VALEDICTORIAN (8) was given a shot at some the top two-year-old races in his three starts. He finished seventh in the Breeders Plate on debut and returned his next prep with a three-quarter length fourth to Rivellino in the Skyline. Closed smartly to win his latest Randwick trial. KARMARDO (2) was good in both start when second to Exclusive Artist here on Feb 9 and fourth to Jacob's Ladder a month later. Trialling well including a win in his July 11 Randwick heat. TONG HO (7) has place claims.

ZOUSTRONG (2) took improvement from his debut run at Moruya and finished third to stablemate Commanding Belle over 1300m here last start. Can improve again and extra trip will suit. WILD THOUGHTS (1) was spelled after a debut third to Modella here in January. Returned with safely held second to Cold Brew over 1300m at Hawkesbury. By So You Think from a Pierro mare, he will keep improving as he gets out over ground. AUTUMN HEIR (7) has finished fourth at his past two runs over 1650m and 1600m.

COMMANDING BELLE (4) was good in her first four starts with varying degrees of luck including a third to Rivellino on debut at Randwick. Broke her maiden with a smart win this track and distance last start and can go back-to-back. VETWELVE (1) had also shown handy ability including a couple of placings in midweek company. Sat outside the leader at Wyong and raced away to beat Justice Warrior who won his next start. Drops back from a Randwick Midway. MONTIGO BAY (5) and AFFERMATO (2) have place claims.

JAMARNI (4) was held up in the straight never tested when ninth to Autumn Dream last start. Tracked the leader and took and inside run on straightening to score a nice win at Hawkesbury before that. Drawn ideally and can bounce back. SAN GIOVANNI (5) was specked on debut at Newcastle where settled back third last before closing strongly to beat Bella Wahine over 1200m. From a 1400m stakes winner so he should appreciate the extra trip. SWEXAN (3) led and held on for a narrow win over 1450m at Muswellbrook last start.
TWILIGHT ELEGANCE (4) stepped up to 2100m for the first time when a closing third to Malbork Castle at Hawkesbury after being held up between the 400m and 300m. Raced outside the leader when a nice winner over 2100m at Gosford. Up to 2400m and should handle it. LENNOX (1) was third over 1600m at Gosford and fifth over 1900m at Canterbury before stepping up to 2100m when second to Twilight Elegance. Was fourth over this trip in his last run in England. STYLEBENDER (2) was beaten a nose at Grafton last start when shooting for the hat-trick.

BEV'S NINE (6) started favourite on debut at Wyong and got the job done nicely with a length-and-a-quarter win from Gamp. Good chance to back-to-back. DUKE OF BRONTE (1) was an easing favourite when he resumed with a third to the in-form Mal Coupe after racing keenly on Hawkesbury on July 3. He is a 68 rater and the 3kg gets him into this race nicely. WAVE BREAKER (5) raced on speed in her first two runs back in metropolitan company. Came from near last when third to Prima Bella at Newcastle last start.

SUBSCRIBE NOW! FIVE TO FOLLOW KOIBITO (race 1, 4th) The winner Nashville Jack is a horse you will see in better races but this filly did a terrific job on debut, doing her best work late. She might be a prep away but has potential. SO YOU ARE (race 3, 2nd) This lightly-raced son of So You Think is still learning his craft and hit the line nicely over 1800m in the Highway. He will come into his own over 2000m plus. GLORIOUS MOMENTS (race 4, 1st) It was only a Benchmark 72 but it's easy to see the son of Brutal landing in better races soon. He's got stakes quality and will go through his grades quickly. SLINKY (race 7, 3rd) Put a line through her run two starts ago when she landed too close, she produced a far better run ridden cold. If she finds herself in a race with speed on next start she's worth backing. TRAVOLTA (race 10, 1st) He's won two of his three starts this preparation and can steadily go through his grades in his second preparation in Australia. Back him with confidence if the track is wet. STEWARDS SAY Open Secret (race 1): Did not feel comfortable on the soft track. Was found to be coughing post-race and will undergo further veterinary checks, including an endoscopic examination. Forecaster (race 2): Apprentice William Stanley was fined $500 for striking the gelding nine times before the 100m, four more than permitted. In Summer (race 3): Jockey Jason Collett felt the prevailing racing surface hampered her ability to close off as expected. Ruby Flyer (race 5): Did not travel comfortably on the soft track and failed to fire. Was found to be slow to recover post-race. Storm The Ramparts (race 8): A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding was slow to recover and lost his off-fore plate. He will be spelled. The Black Cloud (race 8): Did not let down under pressure and weakened in the straight. Another horse that was slow to recover post-race. Kazalark (race 10): Late scratching at 9.55am on vets advice after being found lame in the off-foreleg. CRUNCH TIME Nashville Jack (race 1): Surged home along the inside to finish his last 600m in 36.09 seconds. Wisnierska (36.08) and Koibito (36.03) both got home well in behind. Investment (race 6): She was last at one stage but relished the conditions as she was a race best split for every furlong from the 1000m to the finish. Her last 600m of 38.90 seconds was a clear best. Cigar Flick (race 8): Only had a couple of runners behind her in the run before doing her best work down the outside to finish her last 600m in 35.45 seconds. Her last 200m of 12.45 was the best of the race. Regimental Colours (race 9): Showed a terrific finishing burst, running the best final three furlongs of the race to win with splits of 11.62, 11.71 and 12.61 seconds. Her last 600m totally 35.94. TRACK TALK 'He is a nice horse, he has a bit of substance to him.' - Jockey Jason Collett on Nashville Jack. 'I was actually watching the race with Charlie (Duckworth) and said 'I don't know what this Tommy is doing, we said we were going to come through them and have the last crack at them'. Then I said after the race 'that's why Tommy is a jockey and I am a trainer'. - Chris Waller after Cigar Flick's win. 'He's a lovely horse. It's taken a fair while for us to get to this point but finally he's starting to show what we've known he has.' - Stable rep Keith Lam on Glorious Moments. 'If I get offered the chance I'll jump on a plane to come back and ride this horse. I'd go anywhere to ride him.' - Jockey Heavelon Van Der Hoven, who moved to Brisbane on Sunday, on Glorious Moments. 'I thought she could improve a bit today. Pinstriped on course for another memorable Memsie tilt

Pinstriped provided Jusufovic with his greatest high in racing when he won last year's Group 1 Memsie Stakes at Caulfield after a solid second in the Group 2 PB Lawrence Stakes a fortnight earlier. Pinstriped beat a strong field fair and square in the Memsie Stakes but Jusufovic was keen for more attempts at Group 1 level with the exciting galloper this time in. Pinstriped has scored important victories at his last two second-up appearances in the spring. 'History will show that he seems to go well in the spring at his first two runs and his form sort of tapers off a bit but I'm hoping this time in that I can get more than two decent runs,' Jusufovic said. 'There will be good horses in the Memsie Stakes, like there always is in Group 1 races, but it's a feather in his cap that he was able to beat the two highlight horses, Mr Brightside and Pride Of Jenni, and the new kid on the block Antino.' The son of Street Boss ran in last year's Makybe Diva Stakes but pulled up with a problem before unplaced runs in the Cantala Stakes and Cranbourne Cup to round out 2024. 'He should be cherry ripe for the Memsie,' Jusufovic said. 'Hopefully he'll go to the Makybe Diva after that. 'Last year, I thought I had him right but he pulled a muscle or something after that. 'I think that was the end of his campaign.' READ: Big bets review: Bookies clean up as shorties go under Pinstriped had two unplaced autumn runs but Jusufovic quickly identified a back issue as the course of irritation for the rising seven-year-old. He said he abandoned Pinstriped's autumn campaign to give him ample time to spell before his latest preparation, which has moved into the jumpout phase. 'We identified that his back was playing up and it was hurting a bit,' Jusufovic said. 'For that reason, we pulled the pin and he was able to have a really good break. 'He's come back well. He'll have a jumpout on Monday at Cranbourne but we're happy with the way he's progressing. 'His back is great at the moment.' $51 roughie Investment shocks rivals at Randwick but trainer Joe Pride gave her a ‘sneaky chance'

Investment was a genuine roughie starting at $51 but trainer Joe Pride gave the mare a 'sneaky chance' before she caused a huge boilover at Royal Randwick on Saturday. The four-year-old was her sire So You Think's third winner of the day, following on from Glad You Think So and Oh Diamond Lil, when taking out the TAB F&M Benchmark 78 Handicap (1800m). 'I thought she could improve a bit today. SUBSCRIBE NOW! 'She was fitter, she looked really healthy and a bit of cut in the ground were all pointers to a better performance.' Pride rated Andrew Atkins steer aboard Investment as a '10 out of 10 ride' praising the jockey's boldness during the middle stages of the race as the key to victory. 'Plan A was to be midfield or forward but that was short lived as there was quite a bit of pressure early but she adapted to Plan B which was to get back and let her settle,' Adkins said. 'I thought if I could make a move at a point of the race when they were not making ground it would be to her advantage and that point was at about the 600m when I got on my bike and my the time we got into the straight I'd passed half of the field and we had a bit of momentum up. 'I was able to idle up, she was more than willing to do it and it saved us about five lengths. 'In the straight she really wanted to do it, she tried really hard and we just got the better of the other horse late in the piece.' • 'Very exciting' Glorious Moments can end trainers' black-type wait Investment ($51) defeated the Brad Widdup-trained Hasty Honey ($10) by a long head with Nana's Wish ($5.50) three-and-a-quarter lengths back in third. Pride has no ambitious plans lined up for Investment this preparation but he hopes the mare can continue to strengthen and improve over the next year and when winter roles around again in 2026, he may have his sights on bigger targets. 'She's always been a reasonably promising staying type of mare so it's nice to get a Saturday win with her,' he said. 'You'll see her at her best over 2400 metres and this was only her 18th start so I still don't think we've seen the best of her. 'Maybe this time next year is when she'll be at the absolute top of her game. 'While ever the tracks remain wet, she should continue to race well now as she appreciates these types of track.' The $2.60 favourite in the race She's Unusual struggled in the testing conditions, one of the first runners beaten when weakening in the straight to finish seventh.
