Vivek Suhag first made headlines as a national wrestling champion from Delhi's Najafgarh, but his life took a turn when he met Commonwealth Games gold medallist Babita Phogat at a 2014 tournament. Six years later, their friendship turned into a lifelong commitment, and in 2019 they got married in Balali, Haryana. Today, Vivek takes up the responsibilities of fatherhood. He continues to remain a dedicated supporter beside Babita after she transitioned from sports to politics.
From wrestling roots to Babita Phogat's extra phera
Growing up in Delhi's suburbs, Vivek found wrestling to be his forte. He is known to have won the Bharat Kesari title in 2018. As per TFIPost, he drove home a prize motorcycle from the win. Rather than chase fleeting fame, he began work for the Indian Railways.
As per the publication, Vivek and Babita had first crossed paths before these events, at a 2014 tournament in Delhi. Years later, in June 2019, the couple announced their engagement. The two then got married on December 1, 2019, at Balali, Haryana.
During the wedding, Babita took an 8th phera to advocate for girls' education under 'Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao.' Several close friends and family were present, such as Geeta Phogat and Bajrang Punia. As per The Indian Express, even Aamir Khan (via tweet) sent his blessings.

In the months just before and after their engagement, the former wrestling duo also tested their dance moves on Nach Baliye 9. They charmed audiences even as judges noted their average footwork, having gotten elimination-saving 'Hi5's during the course of the season as well. However, they were eventually eliminated.
Then in January 2021, they had a son, Yuvraaj Suhag, who she introduced to world via tweet. 'Meet our little SONshine,' Babita shared. Today, when Vivek isn't visiting training halls or cheering at Babita's political rallies, he's at home guiding their young boy.

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya in Bigg Boss 19? Actress says, ‘Such…'

Bigg Boss 19 is just around the corner, and the suspense is already building. With Salman Khan returning as host, fans are eagerly waiting to see which celebs will enter the house. One name that keeps popping up is Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya. Her entry has sparked major curiosity — but is she really going in? Divyanka Tripathi finally broke her silence. In a short and sharp reply to Telly Talk, she said, 'Fake, they spread such news every year.' And with that one line, the speculation around her stepping into the Bigg Boss house seemed to collapse. But if the rumour was fake, why are whispers refusing to die down? So, was she even approached? According to Bigg Boss Tak on X (formerly Twitter), Divyanka was approached. Not just her — her ex, actor Sharad Malhotra, was apparently on the list too. The post read, 'EXCLUSIVE: Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Sharad Malhotra have been approached for Bigg Boss 19. Likely to be confirmed.' 🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Sharad Malhotra have been approached for Bigg Boss 19. Likely to be confirmed. #BiggBoss_Tak — #BiggBoss_Tak👁 (@BiggBoss_Tak) August 6, 2025 And that one post was enough to send fans into a spiral — especially those who remember the past. What's the story with Sharad and Divyanka? Their story goes way back — the Banoo Main Teri Dulhann days. The co-stars were a couple for nearly eight years before calling it quits in 2015. Both are now married to different partners — Sharad to Ripci Bhatia, and Divyanka to Vivek Dahiya. But the idea of both of them under the same roof? That's Bigg Boss gold. Who else is in the mix this season? Fan pages have thrown up a wide net of names: Rati Pandey, Hunar Hali, Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid, Dhanashree Verma, Mr. Faisu, Bhavika Sharma, Meera Deosthale, and Sreeram Chandra. And then there's the Taarak Mehta squad: Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh, and Jennifer Mistry. Yes, you read that right. There was a bizarre buzz that a UAE-based robot named Habubu might enter the house. But a report by The Indian Express hinted that the makers might've scrapped the idea altogether. So, what's the truth? In the world of Bigg Boss, nothing's real until it's on screen. Divyanka might've said 'Fake,' but reality TV has its own rules — and sometimes, they bend the truth just right.

Uttarkashi Cloudburst: Vivek Oberoi Expresses Shock, Prays For Victims Safety

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who was last seen in the OTT series 'Indian Police Force', has expressed concern on the recent cloudburst that has swept away several villages in Uttarakhand. On Tuesday, Vivek took to his X, formerly Twitter, and shared a note, in which he spoke about the natural calamity. He wrote, 'Shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic cloudburst in Uttarakhand. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Dharali, Uttarkashi, who are battling its devastating aftermath. May the rescue and relief efforts bring hope and safety to all those affected'. Shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic cloudburst in Uttarakhand. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Dharali, Uttarkashi, who are battling its devastating aftermath. May the rescue and relief efforts bring hope and safety to all those affected. — Vivek Anand Oberoi (@vivekoberoi) August 5, 2025 The massive cloudburst triggered heavy rains and flash floods in Uttarakhand. As per media reports, so far, 5 people have died in the cloudburst. Teams, including army and paramilitaries, have reached Dharali village in Uttarkashi district, which is believed to have borne the brunt of the floods. At least 8 Army soldiers are reportedly missing from the camp in lower Harsil, and more than 50 civilians have been missing. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Indo Tibetan Border Patrol (ITBP) have been deployed for rescue operations. A team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is also at the site. Given the state lies on terrain, the risk of landslides also prevails. Earlier, Vivek took to his Instagram, and shared a video of himself in which he could be seen talking about the importance of friends from different walks of life, who have immensely contributed to his success and social capital. He said in the video, 'They say life's a grand, fun-filled adventure. And I've certainly had my share of fascinating roles and incredible journeys. But the real treasures, they're always the amazing people I've shared the path with. Because let's be real, who wants to face the horizon alone? From co-stars who became partners in crime to business partners, who've dared to dream bigger than balance sheets, trusting the vision and joining the madness, you know who you are. To the little humans who fill my home and my heart with boundless energy, endless questions and unconditional love, yes, my amazing bachchas'.

Rajesh Khanna once revealed the REAL REASON he didn't let Dimple Kapadia act in films after marriage: ‘Wanted a mother for my children'

Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia 's marriage was one of the most talked-about unions in Bollywood. When the two tied the knot in 1973, Dimple was just 16 years old and on the brink of stardom, having just finished filming her debut film, 'Bobby', directed by Raj Kapoor . However, shortly after the wedding, she stepped away from the limelight, putting her acting career on hold. It would be years before she returned to the big screen. Past interviews and reports reveal how Rajesh Khanna played a key role in Dimple's decision to quit acting soon after their marriage. Left acting right after 'Bobby' release 'Bobby' was released in 1973 and turned out to be a blockbuster, establishing Dimple Kapadia as a promising new face in Bollywood. But rather than capitalising on that momentum, she withdrew from the industry shortly after. The actress only appeared in that single film before disappearing from the screen for more than a decade. She chose instead to focus on her home life with Rajesh Khanna, raising their two daughters, Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna . Khanna wanted a hands-on mother As reported by The Indian Express, in a 1990 edition of Movie Magazine, Rajesh Khanna sat down with fellow superstar Amitabh Bachchan for an interview where they discussed the criticism both had faced over the years, especially the idea that they had forced their wives to give up their careers. Khanna, reflecting on the matter, admitted that he had not even seen 'Bobby' when he decided Dimple should not continue acting. 'I had no problems about my wife working. But when I married Dimple, I wanted a mother for my children. I didn't want them to be brought up by servants. And I had no idea of Dimple's talent; Bobby was still not released,' he explained. Twinkle questioned the double standard Khanna went on to share that had he seen 'Bobby' earlier and realised the extent of Dimple's talent, he may not have made the same choice. He said, 'Besides, if I knew at that moment that Bobby would prove her talent, I wouldn't have stopped her. To curb talent is cruel. By the time I saw Bobby, our first daughter was already born.' He further recalled, 'Recently, when I told one of my daughters Twinkle, that if she would like to act in a film, I would produce one for her. She said, 'You will let me act but to mummy you say no.' I said, 'For the simple reason that I am your father and not your husband.' ' Despite the challenges, Dimple stayed in the marriage for several years and devoted her time to raising Twinkle and Rinke. But eventually, the relationship crumbled, reportedly by the early 1980s, Dimple decided to walk out of the marriage. However, despite their separation, the two never officially divorced; she was by his side during tough times. Rajesh Khanna passed away in 2012, after a long battle with cancer.
