Pamela Anderson just copied Kate Middleton's style with her go-to handbag

Daily Mirror22-07-2025
Both Pamela Anderson and Princess Kate have been spotted with this chic white handbag, and the versatile bag is surprisingly affordable considering its A-list fan base
They might not have been a fashion pairing we'd expect, but it turns out that both Pamela Anderson and Kate Middleton have more in common than it first appears. Whilst out and about in New York last week, Pamela was spotted carrying Strathberry's Mosaic Bag, which just so happens to be a firm favourite of the Princess of Wales.
Whilst Pamela styled hers with a metallic turquoise midi skirt and voluminous pale blue top, Princess Kate paired hers with a tonal all-white outfit whilst at the 'Together At Christmas ' Carol Service at Westminster Abbey in 2023. Both women opted for the vanilla shade of the handbag, showing just how versatile and easy to style it is.
Despite its decidedly A-list fanbase, the bag is actually reasonably priced compared to some other designer totes carried by famous faces. You can pick up the regular Mosaic Bag for £485, or you can choose the smaller Nano Mosaic Bag for £395 if you want an even more affordable option.
We also spotted some great alternatives, such as Kate Spade's Madison Small Dolly Duffle Crossbody Bag which currently has a huge discount that sees the price slashed from £349 to £99. Alternatively, Aldo's Cocktailchic Bag is now £66.50 down from £99, whilst the Aubrielle Metallic-Buckle Top Handle Bag from Charles & Keith is priced at £75.
However, all of the Mosaic Bags are made from 100% calf leather and are handmade in Spain which gives them that luxury edge and justifies the slightly higher price tag. The geometric design was inspired by Scottish artists working with mosaics, and features carefully placed leather panels to create the shape.
If Pamela and Princess Kate's vanilla shade isn't for you, there are a huge 12 different shades to pick from, not to mention different textures such as croc effect, suede and grained leather. The bag also comes with a detachable leather strap, which allows you to carry it either as a top-handle bag or as a crossbody, making it versatile.
Gold hardware details add to the high-end look, whilst a soft microfibre lining stops your belongings getting scuffed and scratched whilst inside. There's also a zipped internal pocket to safely store valuables.
For a truly unique look, you can also opt for personalisation on the Mosaic Bags, including adding additional straps, bag tags, and even getting your initials embossed into the leather. With a 4.9 out of 5 star rating, it's also clearly a hit with shoppers.
One said: 'I was a little worried it would be too dark for summer. But I love the Khaki colour. The size is really good, it could fit more than just a wallet and phone. Quality is beautifully made. I would love to own a sky blue for a Mosaic bag too. Would go with all my colourful summer dresses and jeans.'
Another agreed: 'Timeless! I am absolutely in-love with my new mosaic bag in brown chocolate with vanilla stitch. It's very versatile & functional for my everyday use & the quality is top notch. It's worth it & such a classic investment. Thank you Strathberry.'
Some found a little inconsistency with the stitching, with one writing: 'The stiching in the corners were uneven. One corner had a wide gap.'
However, the reviews have all been overwhelmingly positive, with another saying: 'I think this bag is extremely elegant. Finishing of this bag was perfect with quality. The bag is spacious and practical.'
Shop the Mosaic Bag for £485 now.

Pamela Anderson breaks silence on Meghan Markle's 'rip off' Netflix cooking show

Pamela Anderson has finally spoken out on viral claims Meghan Markle 'ripped off' her cooking show with Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. Fans of the Baywatch bombshell, 58, were left incensed when the former working Royal, 44, debuted her latest TV venture - which bore eerie similarities to Pamela's Cooking With Love, which premiered earlier this year on Prime Video. The Naked Gun star Anderson opened up on Sunday's Watch What Happens Live! with host Andy Cohen asking her: 'On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show, Pamela's Cooking with Love?' Anderson, who was appearing alongside new love and co-star Liam Neeson responded: 'One. I didn't - I didn't really look, but I mean, I didn't invent cooking shows' adding that Markle 'is just doing her thing.' The drama erupted when Prince Harry 's wife gave People magazine some of her top domestic tips ahead of the release of With Love, Meghan, in March. These included how to 'elevate' a normal dinner – such as after ordering a takeaway. Citing Chinese as a favorite delivery option, Markle told the US magazine: 'I like being able to do a hybrid, but even when I get a takeout I will try to plate it beautifully.' And discussing her new trademark As Ever – after she failed to secure copyright branding for her original name, American Riviera Orchard – she insisted: 'It's a learning curve. 'I appreciate everyone who gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out and also be forgiving with myself through that.' The two former TV stars live more than a thousand miles apart, yet both were smiling and giggling in brightly lit country kitchens, filming aspirational cooking with photogenic friends and famous celebrities. Both are seen carrying wicker baskets of fruit and vegetables picked from their gardens, dancing with joy, and gleefully high-fiving their celebrity guests. Both series are even the same length: eight episodes. When Meghan's first episode was shown, it prompted withering complaints that she had copied Pamela's winning formula. 'So similar it's freaky,' said one reviewer, while others branded Meghan's series 'inauthentic' and 'copycat'. More charitable observers might put this down to coincidence, as neither show seems to deviate from the wholesome template of many an aspirational cookery program. However, while Markle filmed her series last summer, with the first trailer making its debut in January, Anderson's was commissioned back in February 2023 by Canadian broadcaster Flavour Network. And its trailer has been available for all to see since last October. Last month it was claimed Markle and Prince Harry's hopes of a new Netflix deal are 'dead' after their two most recent shows flopped, Meghan's lifestyle show failed to break into Netflix 's top 300 programs for the first half of 2025 and was even thrashed by multiple seasons of Suits. A second season of With Love, Meghan, was announced by the Duchess herself as the first season came out in March this year as part of the couple's $100million deal with the streaming giant, which expires this year

I went on a £11,000 desert orgasm retreat — this is everything that happened

If you ever find yourself in Joshua Tree National Park in California, don't be alarmed if you hear the moans and groans of women at the height of orgasm. The Back to Body Sex Retreat takes place among the wilderness, which aims to teach women how to reach climax. The X-rated retreats are hosted at a variety of beautiful locations and range in cost — typically guests pay around £11,000, but Jana Hocking, this week's Just Between Us podcast guest, went along to the three-day retreat, priced at just under £1,000. Hosted by founder Pamela Marsden and her team of helpers, there's a packed timetable — from bondage classes during which guests are stimulated to orgasm, to real-life anatomy lessons. At 40, Jana felt like she was in a 'sexual spiral' and says she had begun to perform during sex, at the expense of her own pleasure. So, keen to change her ways, she headed to Back to Body, one of 16 women (all in their 40s, apart from one 75-year-old) who were keen to change their ways. Here's how she got on… Love reading juicy stories like this? Need some tips for how to spice things up in the bedroom? 'I thought it would be full of extroverts who were outlandish and wanted to perform in front of each other, but it really wasn't,' says Jana. 'They were either getting divorced and realised they hadn't had a proper orgasm and wanted to right wrongs, while other women were dealing with trauma and needed to learn how to enjoy sex again, which was quite heartbreaking. Upon arrival, the group were presented with a charcuterie board of fruits and cheeses. As they tucked in, creator Pamela appeared. Little did they know, the women had already been taught a valuable lesson. Pamela asked if they had helped themselves to the snacks they wanted, or if they'd stood back and let others eat first. Jana initially thought she'd gone wrong when she began eating without hesitation, but Pamela insisted she'd actually got it right. Jana says: 'Pamela explained that women are brought up to believe we take the scraps. 'She told us: 'Let this cheeseboard be an example that you should put your needs first''. The first exercise involved going around in a circle, with each woman explaining why they attended the retreat — but Jana says that was pretty much the only tame thing that happened. Then, it was on to tantric meditation, guided by Pamela and the helpers. 'We had to hold our vulvas and rock back and forth, either naked or in our underwear, and speak to our vulva and tell it what we wanted, who we wanted to be and what our goals were,' Jana says. 'My goal was to take back ownership of my sexuality because I realised I was performing — I can do a Meg Ryan orgasms like the best of them — but am I having a real orgasm? Am I putting my needs first?' For the next activity, blindfolds appeared. 'We were blindfolded and laid on the ground while sexy music played,' Jana explains. 'The helpers adorned your naked body with crystals and fruit, to bring you back to your femininity. 'The older woman lying next to me looked down at her body and just lit up,' Jana adds. 'I started crying because it was beautiful to see her looking at her body like it was brand new.' It gets wilder, if that's even possible. Jana says there was a shabari workshop — a Japanese art in the use of rope with a partner. It's often considered a form of bondage, and at the retreat, it involved the helpers stimulating the women in different ways by scratching, whispering and growling. The aim was for each participant to discover which kink lit that fire inside them, and made them want to get it on. Following that, a male sex educator brought Pamela to orgasm in front of everyone. 'It was half an hour of foreplay — flirting, shibari, stroking, lathering up with lube — then the climax was him fingering her,' Jana says. 'I thought I'd feel uncomfortable but apart from being nervous, it just went on so long I got bored.' There was even a demonstration from a urologist who got naked and pointed at her private parts, so all the women knew every part of their anatomy. Sadly, Janna was the only one at the retreat who didn't reach orgasm, but she's now well-equipped to climax in the comfort of her own bed. 'I got close with the shibari ropes,' she says. 'I think my brain was just too on during the whole thing. 'A lot of women got really good at letting go and being touched consensually, but all I kept thinking was 'who's doing this?' because you've got a blindfold on. More Trending 'The women around me were experiencing the most amazing orgasms, but I couldn't switch off, unfortunately.' Upon leaving though, she hooked up with an ex-boyfriend and had an amazing time. View More » 'I had the best sex I've ever had,' Jana says. 'I'd spend a grand to do that again.'
