Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7's main competitor will be hard to outclass
At first glance, it might not seem incredible that the Mix Flip 2 is powered by a 5,165 mAh battery, but that's actually the biggest battery of any clamshell foldable available on the market. Not to be confused with regular foldables like Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Pixel Fold, which feature a different form factor. Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to come with a 4,100 mAh battery. Despite the fact that both clamshell foldables are nearly similar in size, Xiaomi managed to fit a bigger battery inside its flagship.

Lithium batteries are bigger than those that use silicon carbon technology. But that's not the only advantage of owning a Mix Flip 2 over Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7. The former has a stunning 6.86-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display with 1224 x 2912 pixels resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 3200 nits peak brightness. In comparison, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is said to feature a 6.85-inch foldable dynamic LTPO AMOLED display with 1080 x 2640 pixels resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Also, Xiaomi's Mix Flip 2 features a second 4-inch external AMOLED display with 1392 x 1208 pixels resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits peak brightness. To top it all off, Xiaomi announced that its next-generation 'Dragon Bone' hinge seriously improved flatness when opened and durability when folded. The Chinese company explains that the hinge features an innovative three-link and four-floating-plate design, and it uses ultra-flexible 50μm glass.
Another important aspect where Xiaomi's flagship doesn't disappoint is the camera. Even though it only features minor upgrades over the Mix Flip, the new model beats the Galaxy Z Flip 7 's camera system in every way.

Although we don't know the details, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to feature a dual camera that includes a 50 MP main camera (f/1.8, 23 mm, 1/1.57-inch) and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (f/2.2, 13 mm, 1/3.2-inch).
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has a 50 MP main camera (f/1.7, 23 mm, 1/1.55-inch) and a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor (f/2.2, 14 mm). Both cameras are co-engineered with Leica. Besides that, Xiaomi's flagship boasts a massive 32-megapixel selfie snapper, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is believed to pack a 10-megapixel selfie camera. While it's been confirmed that the Mix Flip 2 uses Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite, we're still waiting for Samsung to reveal the chipset inside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 . Rumor has it that the South Korean company might use its own Exynos 2500 chip instead of Qualcomm's flagship SoC.Either way, it's important to mention that Mix Flip 2 is the world's first clamshell foldable to use a dual vapor chamber cooling system. This means that Xiaomi's flagship has thermal modules on the motherboard and lower half of the body. It's something worth having especially if you're a heavy user.Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 comes in four colors – Gold, Green, Purple, and White, and three storage configurations: 12/256 GB, 16/512 GB, and 16 GB / 1 TB. The foldable is available in China for the prices listed below:12/256 GB – 5.999 yuan ($835 / €715)16/512 GB – 6.499 yuan ($905 / €775)16 GB / 1 TB – 7.299 yuan ($1,015 / €870)
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 prices | Image credit: Xiaomi Xiaomi hasn't yet confirmed when/if the Mix Flip 2 will be released internationally, but considering that its predecessor is available globally, it's probably safe to say the new model will eventually be launched worldwide. Just don't expect the prices above.
Unfortunately, despite being better than the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 in almost every way, Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will not be launched in the United States, which means Samsung's supremacy will not be contested, at least in this very important market. Secure your connection now at a bargain price!

Poco M7 Pro 5G review
The Redmi Note 14 models must be the most popular choice in the mid-range for their thoughtful segmentation and attractive pricing. And a while ago, Poco also launched its own interpretation of one particular Redmi - the Note 14 5G. Meet the Poco M7 Pro 5G. The Poco M7 Pro 5G is essentially identical to the Redmi Note 14 5G except for the design and the rear camera setup. Poco has always been keen on eye-catchy designs and the dual tone back panel on the back of the M7 Pro 5G is quite nice. You can get it in Lavender Frost, Lunar Dust, Olive Twilight, and there is a limited Classic Black version in some markets. The Poco is IP64-rated for dust and splash resistance. The Poco M7 Pro 5G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10+ streaming. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone runs on the Dimensity 7025 5G chip that packs decent processor power but has a rather basic GPU. The starter version of the Poco M7 Pro 5G has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The only technical differences between this Poco and its Redmi counterpart are in the camera department. The Poco has a 50MP primary with OIS, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 20MP selfie imager. The Redmi had a 108MP main camera and an additional 8MP ultrawide shooter, which is now gone. The M7 Pro is powered by a 5,110mAh with 45W fast charging. It boots Android 14 with HyperOS 1. We would have liked to see it boot Android 15 or at least get a more powerful GPU, though. Unboxing the Poco M7 Pro 5G The Poco M7 Pro has a well-stacked retail bundle. It ships together with a 45W charger, a USB cable, and a dark gray protective case. The Poco also comes with a thin protective film already atop its screen. The bundle varies by market, though, and the EU box does not contain a charger. Page 2

iPhone 17 Air makes the Galaxy S25 Edge look like a normal, boring phone, but is it actually any good?
The race for the slimmest flagship smartphone is now on, and it seems like Apple will be taking the lead with the iPhone 17 Air, at least when it comes to thickness. A physical comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and a dummy unit of the iPhone 17 Air shows a clear winner: Apple's phone is much slimmer. Of course, the iPhone 17 Air will come with its own problems, the biggest one being its battery capacity. It is all but confirmed that the Air will have a battery capacity of a measly 2,900 mAh, which pales in comparison to the 3,900 mAh found on the Galaxy S25 Edge . Apple is reportedly hoping for the AI-powered battery management on iOS 26 to do the heavy lifting here, and make the iPhone 17 Air last a reasonable amount of time. Meanwhile, our Galaxy S25 Edge battery test showed that Samsung's phone lasted way longer than expected. With the Galaxy S26 Edge reportedly getting a 4,300 mAh battery early next year, a phone just as slim and with a much larger battery will be available not long after the release of the iPhone 17 Air .But these phones aren't really being marketed to power users: we've got the thicker iPhone 17 Pro Max with its bigger battery for that purpose. No, these phones are for people who prefer form over function, and the iPhone 17 Air beats the Galaxy S25 Edge quite handily in that respect. The iPhone 17 Air is much slimmer than the Galaxy S25 Edge . | Image credit — Cid If you want the slimmest modern flagship phone that you can get your hands on this year, then the iPhone 17 Air is the device for you. While the Galaxy S25 Edge is 5.8 mm thick, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be 5.5 mm instead, which is what the dummy units are modeled after. But is the iPhone 17 Air actually worth getting this year? Unless you're strictly an iPhone user, I'd say not really. According to reports, next year's Galaxy S26 Edge will be 5.5 mm thick as well, so just as thin as the Air but with a much larger battery. If I was choosing between the two, I'd honestly wait for Samsung's phone. However, that is a trap some consumers fall into: always waiting for the next best thing. Yes, the iPhone 17 Air makes the S25 Edge look pretty thick — despite such a marginal difference — and if you don't want to wait for it, I'd say have at it.
