"Wind increasing through the morning with a very breezy afternoon ahead. Weekend will be breezy and cloudy with patchy spells of rain."
She said: "The weather will be fairly unsettled today and at times during the weekend, but it will improve gradually through Sunday and for the start of next week."

This morning, there will be some bright spells occurring in the East and South at first, but outbreaks of rain and drizzle are expected in the North and the West, which will spread south-easterwards through the day.
The weather expert revealed that the rain "will turn heavy" in the west, and it will become quite windy with a moderate to fresh, occasionally strong and gusty south-westerly wind developing.
Temperatures will reach the highs of 14C to 20C, with the south being the warmest spot across the country.
Linda added: "Tonight will be cloudy and misty with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. There'll be some hill and coastal fog too.

Tomorrow is set to be a "mostly dull day" with patchy light rain and drizzle on the cards for the country.
Linda revealed that the south and east will be the best areas to get sunny spells, where it "will be warm and humid" tomorrow amid the unsettled weather conditions, with cloudy conditions forecasted.
Highest temperatures will range between 14C in the north-west and 22C in the south-east in a moderate westerly breeze.
Sunday will be cloudy to begin with, some scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle, before it brightens up through the afternoon and evening with sunny spells and scattered showers.
It will reach the highs of 14C to 20C before dropping down to temperatures of 9C to 13C.
WEATHER SHAKE-UP
In a major weather shake-up, nearly dry conditions are expected on Sunday night and will remain throughout the beginning of the week, with some isolated showers.
Most places will stay dry on Monday, but it'll be rather cloudy with occasional sunny intervals.
The highest temperatures range from 14 to 20 degrees before dropping to 9 to 12 degrees.
And Tuesday is expected to be another dry day with cloudy conditions, with Linda warning there may be a "few isolated showers".
Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees with a light to moderate west to southwest breeze.

A prolonged period of blistering sunshine and blue skies is on the cards for this week, Met Éireann predicts. The forecaster is predicting temperatures will reach a sweltering 26C. Met Éireann defines a heatwave as 'five consecutive days of temperatures above 25C' – and it looks like we could hit that mark, or surpass it, this week, according to the latest weather charts. Current forecasts, which are subject to change, indicate a gradual rise from the low 20s at the start of this week to much hotter temperatures. Today, we will see spells of sunshine, though it will be cloudier in north Connacht and Ulster with isolated showers. Met Éireann said this week 'is showing a slight signal for high-pressure building', which indicates more settled weather. It added: 'Temperatures are indicating to be above average for this time of year. Precipitation is likely to be below average, especially in parts of the southwest and west.'
