A stunning holiday property has just hit the market, perfectly timed for a new owner to soak up the glorious Welsh sunshine in one of the country's most historic seaside towns - but it's probably not what you think it is.

This luxurious glamping pod, nestled in the heart of Pembrokeshire, offers all the modern comforts of a sea holiday with a traditional twist. For more property stories sent to your inbox twice a week sign up to the property newsletter here

Jill Scott's sad wedding admission, forcing Soccer Aid apology, millionaire net worth

Jill Scott's sad wedding admission, forcing Soccer Aid apology, millionaire net worth Jill Scott has become one of the most beloved figures in the UK since calling time on her football career, leading a hectic life that means she's often away from her home in Manchester Jill Scott is engaged to Shelly Unitt, the sister of her former team-mate Rachel (Image: PA ) Jill Scott returns to the football pitch as England take on the World XI for Soccer Aid 2025. The Lionesses legend became a household name when Sarina Wiegman's side won Euro 2022 on home turf at Wembley. Her profile grew further when she was crowned the Queen of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! later that year. ‌ But Jill, 38, remains grounded, telling OK!: "To be honest, I'm faking my life half of the time." When she's not feeling like a pretender, she leads a quiet and modest life in Manchester with partner Shelly. ‌ Is Jill Scott married? Scott and partner Shelly are believed to have first met through Jill's former England and Everton team-mate Rachel Unitt, who is Shelly's older sister. They've been together for nearly a decade and got engaged in 2020. However, they've not yet wed, with Jill explaining to OK! that various roadblocks have got in their way and they simply "haven't had the time" to organise the big day. 'It's been so busy that we're like passing ships at times," she said in October 2023. "We're definitely starting to think about what we want to do. We've been engaged for nearly four years now, but with Covid and lockdown happening, we sort of lost momentum for a while. Article continues below 'But Shelly and I have finally been making some wedding plans and we're definitely in the swing of things now.' Jill recently marked Shelly's 40th birthday with a party, helped by her partner's daughters (Image: Instagram/shellyunitt ) What does Jill Scott do now? It's no surprise that Jill and Shelly have struggled to squeeze in a wedding when taking into account all of their commitments. Shelly has balanced her career as a community health officer while running the coffee shop they own, Boxx2Boxx. ‌ Jill chips in with the hard graft at the shop when she's not appearing on our TV screens. She's moved into punditry for both men's and women's football since hanging up her boots, as well as being a captain on Sky's game show A League of Their Own. And she's a regular on the weekly Stick to Football podcast, joining co-hosts Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane and Ian Wright. On Sunday, she'll return for her third Soccer Aid appearance. Their coffee shop frequently has famous visitors like Jill's Sky colleague Jamie Redknapp (Image: Instagram/boxx2boxxcoffee ) ‌ Why did Jill Scott swear? Jill delivered one of the most memorable moments of the Euro 2022 final after being fouled by Germany's Sydney Lohmann, with cameras catching her fuming: "F*** off you f*****g p****." She doesn't look back on it as her finest hour, telling FourFourTwo how she's quick to encourage Shelly's two children, Evie and Hattie, not to follow suit. "I must say I don't like swearing, if I ever hear kids swear I pull them up on it. But I didn't have a leg to stand on in that moment, but we won and hopefully people remember the football rather than what I might have accidentally said," she said. Sydney Lohmann quickly found out not to mess with Jill (Image: UEFA via Getty Images ) ‌ However, it seems Jill hasn't learnt her lesson, because she was caught dropping another F-bomb at last year's Soccer Aid. Overhitting a pass was the reason for her frustration on this occasion, forcing ITV to issue an apology live on air. Commentator Sam Matterface told viewers: 'I don't know if you noticed it, I certainly didn't, but there may have been, just may have been, some rather industrial language that emanated from Jill Scott's mouth when she missed the chance. If that was the case, we do apologise!' Co-commentator Iain Stirling then joked: 'We'll apologise on Jill Scott's behalf, just in case. I'm actually getting fed up apologising on Jill Scott's behalf. She needs to wash her mouth out with soap quite frankly!' ‌ Swearing on camera has become a bit of a habit for the former midfielder (Image: ITV ) What is Jill Scott's net worth? After a football career spanning nearly two decades, Jill was estimated to be a millionaire, with various reports valuing her between £1.3million and £3.4m. That was before her stint on I'm A Celeb, which is said to have banked her a six-figure fee, albeit telling Good Morning Britain it was "a lot lower" than Matt Hancock's £320k payday. As per The Sun, she went on to make £720k in 2023, with equity in her company, Jill Scott 8 Ltd, rising to £1.2m. She also made two payments of £50k and £300k to herself. Article continues below With her media work showing no sign of slowing down, her net worth is set to continue rising in the seven figures for the foreseeable future. Although Sunday's action at Old Trafford is all about raising money for UNICEF's projects to help vulnerable children around the world.

The alpine 'dupe' in Wales that could save on expensive travel costs

A holiday giant has created a list of UK 'dupes' for famous international destinations. Self-catering accommodation specialists Hoseasons has compiled the list of the best spots in the UK that mimic some of the most unique holiday destinations worldwide. They say these places offer similar views, activities and experiences, but without the hefty travel price tag. It is seven strong list with one part of Wales in the mix. Hoseasons said: "We all have those bucket-list destinations that we hope to finally visit someday, whether it's to experience a new culture, take in the natural wonders or even just relax on the beach. Unfortunately, it can take some time before we're able to jet off to these locales, but sometimes you're able to get a taste of them, without even leaving the UK." The Welsh destination picked is Eryri National Park. Hoseasons say it is a dupe for Savoie in the French Alps. Sign up for the North Wales Live newsletter sent twice daily to your inbox Other dupes include Bath for Rome, and Buxton in place of Bad Staffelstein in Bavaria. On the Eryri/Savoie match-up, they said: "Savoie, located in the French Alps, is renowned for breathtaking landscapes and top-notch ski resorts, attracting outdoor enthusiasts with its snow-capped mountains, clear lakes, forests, and charming alpine villages. "As well as being home to celebrated resorts like Courchevel, Méribel and Val d'Isère, the region is well-loved for its incredible hiking trails and exhilarating outdoor activities like paragliding and white-water rafting. Iconic landmarks like Aiguille du Midi provide breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, Europe's highest peak. "The UK dupe for Savoie is Eryri (Snowdonia)Wales's renowned national park which is also blessed with a variety of adrenaline-pumping activities, not to mention a pretty impressive mountain of its own. Climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) the highest peak in Wales, is no mean feat. "Some of the views from Eryri's hiking trails of the lakes and mountains are reminiscent of those in Savoie, and, just like the French department, Eryri is synonymous with outdoor adventure, with zip-lining, white-water rafting, rock climbing and mountain biking all on offer."
