The Su-57E and Su-35M proposed by Russia can give a new dimension to this effort of India. Su-57E is a 5th generation stealth multirole fighter jet, while Su-35M is an advanced 4.5 generation fighter aircraft.
The proposal sent to India by Russia's state company Rostec and Sukhoi includes the export version of Su-57E, which includes stealth technology, supersonic speed and multirole operation. What will be the benefit to Indian Air Force?
Russia's state company can also provide source code and manufacturing rights. With its help, India will be able to make technical improvements as per its convenience. It has been proposed to give immediate delivery of Su-35M, which will give immediate operational edge to the Indian Air Force.
Su-57E fighter jet has been specially designed for stealth operation, internal weapon way and 3D thrust vectoring. It can maintain a speed of up to Mach 1.6 (1975 km/h) without afterburner and the maximum speed can go up to Mach 2 (2450 km/h). Which weapons can be fitted on these jets?
The Su-57E fighter jet has R-77M air-to-air missile, Kh-69 cruise missile and GROM glide bomb as its main weapons. The Russian fighter jet can also be integrated with Indian missile systems like BrahMos, Rudram and Astra. Real time communication with other aircraft and control room is also possible through its data link system. The biggest advantage for India with the Su-57E is that it can incorporate its own software and missile systems, which gives strategic independence.

'We were able to win the following concession: that the United States could offer Article 5-like protection, which is one of the real reasons Ukraine wants to be in NATO,' he said.

United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday appeared to rule out additional sanctions on Russia, days after a summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This comes after Trump on Sunday said that 'big progress' had been made regarding Russia, without providing any details.(AFP) 'The problem is this – let's use our heads here. The problem is this: The minute you levy additional sanctions, strong additional sanctions, the talking stops. Talking stops. And at that point, the war just continues,' Rubio said. 'You've probably just added six, eight, nine, 12 more months to the war, if not longer. More people dead, more people killed, more people maimed, more families destroyed, okay? That's what happens if you do that,' the US Secretary of State added. Rubio clarified that Trump would take 'further action' if a peace agreement cannot be reached between Russia and Ukraine. 'Now, we may end up being at a point where we have to do that, where there is no other recourse and that's the end,' Rubio said, adding that the US Had already imposed 'severe sanctions' on Russia. So we may very well reach a point where everyone concludes no peace is going to happen here, we're going to have to do more sanctions,' Rubio said. However, he said that imposing sanctions at present would imply 'walking away from any prospect of a negotiated settlement'.
