NVDA: Nvidia to Power Europe's First AI Factory With 10,000 GPUs

Yahoo11-06-2025
June 12 - Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) is setting up Europe's first industrial AI cloud, a large-scale project aimed at modernizing the region's manufacturing sector.
The facility, described as an AI factory, will house 10,000 GPUs, including Nvidia DGX B200 systems and RTX PRO Servers. It will run on the company's CUDA-X libraries, RTX, and Omniverse platforms, supporting AI-accelerated workloads from major software firms such as Siemens (SIEGY), Ansys (ANSS), Cadence (NASDAQ:CDNS), and Rescale.
The cloud platform is expected to help European manufacturers streamline operations across product design, simulation, robotics, and digital twin technology. Companies like BMW Group, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and Schaeffler will use Nvidia-powered applications to overhaul processes from concept design to logistics.
Nvidia said the site will follow its Omniverse Blueprint for AI factory design. Cadence's Reality Digital Twin Platform will be used to simulate and optimize the facility, helping engineers create a smarter, more efficient build.
Speaking at the GTC Paris event during VivaTech, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the move will support simulation-first, AI-driven manufacturing across Europe.
Also at GTC Paris, Ansys, Cadence, and Siemens announced they are scaling their portfolios using Nvidia's AI-physics tools, CUDA-X libraries, and Grace Blackwell systems.

Prediction: 2 Stocks That'll Be Worth More Than Palantir 3 Years From Now

Key Points Palantir's valuation has risen much higher than Nvidia's. ASML and AMD just have to continue being themselves to be larger than Palantir if a correction comes. 10 stocks we like better than Palantir Technologies › Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) is one of the hottest stocks in the market. It has delivered explosive returns for shareholders this year and is rapidly growing from a business standpoint, too. There's nothing to dislike about Palantir's business from an investing standpoint (you may have qualms about what its software is used for in government, but that's beside the point), but there is a lot to dislike about the stock. Alongside Palantir's rapid rise has been a massive expansion in valuation, and it has become the most expensive stock on the market. I think that this is unsustainable and could lead to some lackluster stock performance over the next few years. Although Palantir has a market cap of over $425 billion, I think ASML (NASDAQ: ASML) and AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) could surpass it over the next three years, despite each being worth around $275 billion. The case against Palantir As mentioned above, Palantir's business is phenomenal. Its software is becoming the building blocks for deploying AI in business and government, and it has the growth to show for it. In the second quarter, Palantir's revenue rose 48% year over year to more than $1 billion. That blew away expectations and showcases the unstoppable demand Palantir is experiencing. The problem is that the growth rate is already baked into the stock. One of the premier AI stocks over the past few years has been Nvidia. Nvidia posted growth rates of more than 200% during its run, yet never traded for more than 46 times sales or 51 times forward earnings. Palantir has far exceeded those levels despite much slower growth. Let's break down what growth it would take for Palantir to trade at a reasonable level. If Palantir can sustain a 50% revenue growth rate over the next three years, it would increase its revenue from today's $3.44 billion total to $11.6 billion. If we give Palantir a 30% profit margin (its profit margin was 22% over the past 12 months), that would indicate Palantir would generate $3.5 billion in profits. At today's $425 billion market cap, that would still price Palantir's stock at 122 times three-year forward earnings. This showcases how expensive Palantir's stock is, and indicates it could be ripe for a pullback. As a result, I think it's possible that ASML and AMD could be larger than Palantir in three years by doing nothing different. ASML and AMD don't have to do anything special to be worth more than Palantir Both ASML and AMD are reasonably priced for their current business, and each is expected to put up respectable growth figures over the next few years, although still far slower than Palantir. Using Nvidia's max valuation of about 50 times forward earnings as the high point for Palantir's earnings in three years ($3.5 billion), that would indicate the stock should be worth around $175 billion. As mentioned before, Palantir trades at around a $425 billion market cap right now, so this would indicate a substantial drop. Both ASML and AMD are valued at around $275 billion, so Palantir's potential drop would cause these two to be worth more. Palantir is an incredibly overvalued stock, but it has a strong and devoted following, and it may continue to defy traditional valuation metrics, similar to Tesla. Investors are more than capable of holding onto Palantir stock at elevated prices, so the correction to its price may never come, despite all factors indicating that it should. I still think AMD and ASML will (and should) be valued higher than Palantir's stock, but investors will have to wait and find out if that turns out to be true. Which Stock Will Win the Race to $5 Trillion: Microsoft or Nvidia?

Key Points Microsoft's blowout Q4 propelled it over the $4 trillion threshold. Demand for Nvidia's GPUs is expected to last for many years. 10 stocks we like better than Nvidia › Microsoft's (NASDAQ: MSFT) blowout quarter briefly propelled the stock across the $4 trillion threshold, allowing the tech giant to join Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) as the only companies ever to achieve this feat. Now that two competitors have broken the $4 trillion threshold, the question shifts to which company will reach $5 trillion first. Climbing from $4 trillion to $5 trillion is much easier than going from $3 trillion to $4 trillion, as it only requires a 25% rise versus a 33% rise. As a result, these companies are going to continue breaking these market cap barriers more quickly, but when can we expect these two to hit that mark? Microsoft and Nvidia are succeeding thanks to a few shared tailwinds Microsoft has become one of the most prominent tech giants, and offers a wide variety of products ranging from business software to cloud computing to gaming devices. However, the show's focus is clearly on its Intelligent Cloud division, led by Azure, its cloud computing service. Azure is seeing massive growth as Microsoft has become the top platform for building cloud workloads. Cloud computing can run traditional business workloads like data processing, information storage, or website hosting, but it's also useful for running AI workloads. The dual tailwind that cloud computing is receiving is impressive and will likely be around for many more years. When a company like Microsoft builds new cloud servers to meet demand, they're often filled with computing hardware from Nvidia. Nvidia's graphics processing units (GPUs) are best in class and are extremely flexible for running various workloads. This flexibility makes them ideal for data centers, as the same computing units can run various workloads when needed. Nvidia has GPUs for multiple use cases, but its biggest by far is data centers. Thanks to the same tailwinds that are increasing demand for cloud computing and AI, Nvidia expects data center capital expenditures to rise from $400 billion in 2024 to $1 trillion by 2028. This bodes well for Nvidia's growth story and shows that it can continue rising at its rapid pace. Both Nvidia and Microsoft have solid growth stories, but what do the numbers say? Microsoft appears to produce more profits than Nvidia If you look at how much income each company is generating, it's clear that Microsoft has a head start over Nvidia. However, a few factors are holding Nvidia back. First, Q1 had poor net income numbers because the U.S. revoked its export license to China. Nvidia has reapplied for that license with assurances that it will be approved. Still, the lost sales of Nvidia's H20 chips will harm its net income figures in both Q1 and Q2. Second, Nvidia hasn't reported Q2 results yet (it's due to report them later this month), so Microsoft has a bit of a head start that way. Last, and likely the most important, Nvidia is growing much faster than Microsoft. In Q4 of fiscal 2025 (ending June 30), Microsoft's net income rose 24%. Considering Microsoft's size and maturity, that's impressive growth, and investors shouldn't have any qualms with the results Microsoft delivered. However, Nvidia's net income increased by 26% in Q1 fiscal year 2025 (ending April 27), despite being severely hampered by a write-off of H20 chips. With Nvidia expected to grow earnings faster than Microsoft, it has a slight premium to Microsoft. This premium is why Nvidia is worth more than Microsoft despite having a smaller net income. Because of Nvidia's faster growth rate and premium valuation, I think it will likely beat Microsoft to the $5 trillion mark. While Microsoft's growth is impressive, it's still slower than Nvidia's, despite Nvidia's results being hampered. I think both stocks are excellent companies to own at these points, but Nvidia still has the edge. Do the experts think Nvidia is a buy right now? The Motley Fool's expert analyst team, drawing on years of investing experience and deep analysis of thousands of stocks, leverages our proprietary Moneyball AI investing database to uncover top opportunities. They've just revealed their to buy now — did Nvidia make the list? When our Stock Advisor analyst team has a stock recommendation, it can pay to listen.
