
Realme P4 series launch on August 20: Display, camera, battery and other key specs teased

– is going to launch in India on August 20. Ahead of the smartphone series' launch, the company has teased – and confirmed – a bunch of key specifications as well as features, providing an idea what customers can expect from the phones. Notably, Realme P series is aimed at offering a flagship-level experience, particularly for young, online-focused consumers, with a focus on performance.

P4 series will launch in India on August 20 at 12pm (noon). These phones will be available for purchase on Flipkart and the official Realme website. We expect the company to offer the smartphone in at least three colour options and multiple variants. The company is teasing '5 things to explore' in the upcoming smartphone series.
Realme P4 series specs and features
Both phones in the P4 series – Realme P4 and Realme P4 Pro – are expected to feature a high-end display. According to a landing page on Flipkart, the Realme P4 Pro 5G will sport a HyperGlow AMOLED 4D Curve+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification and a peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits. It also comes with advanced eye protection features certified by TÜV Rheinland.
The Realme P4 5G is expected to come with a similar 6.77-inch HyperGlow AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution. This screen also supports a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ but with a slight watered down with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits in certain scenarios.
Under the hood, the Realme P4 Pro 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC and a HyperVision AI GPU, cooled by a 7,000 sq mm AirFlow VC system. The standard Realme P4 5G, meanwhile, is expected to sport a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset.
The Realme P4 Pro 5G will come with a dual rear camera system with 50Mp main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The front camera will also have a 50MP sensor. The Pro model will offer advanced video capabilities, including 4K recording at 60 FPS and 4K HDR recording at 30 FPS, enhanced by features like Hypershot Architecture and AI motion stabilization.
The standard Realme P4 5G will also pack a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens on the back. Its front camera is expected to be a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls. Both the phones will come with 7,000mAh batteries with 80W fast charging,

The phone may be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging. There could be support for LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, similar to the recently launched Vivo V60. As for optics, the Vivo T4 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP primary shooter with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. On the front, it could carry a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is likely to be available in two colour options in India: Nitro Blue and Blaze Gold.
