
UAE President awards Jordanian Ambassador First Class Order of Independence
ABU DHABI (WAM)President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the Order of Independence (First Class) to Nassar Ibrahim Al Habashneh, Ambassador of Jordan to the UAE, in appreciation of his efforts in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, presented the medal to the Jordanian ambassador during a reception held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Dubai. During the meeting, Al Marar said the UAE is keen to strengthen relations with Jordan in all fields. He praised the ambassador's contribution to consolidating these relations and advancing bilateral cooperation during his tenure. For his part, Al Habashneh expressed his sincere gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. The ambassador praised the growing bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels, and the progress and achievements made by the UAE, which reflect the leadership's vision and its commitment to strengthening the country's position on the international stage.
The ambassador also expressed his thanks and appreciation to all government agencies in the UAE for the cooperation he received, which had a positive impact on the success of his mission to consolidate relations between the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has praised the discipline and readiness of UAE National Service recruits. "This exceptional performance embodies the vision of our wise leadership to equip individuals with the capabilities needed to safeguard the nation's achievements, protect its security, and contribute to its continued prosperity," Sheikh Hamdan said. He highlighted the UAE National Service Programme's success after witnessing military demonstrations of the 22nd cohort at Dubai's Seih Hafeer training centre. "Preparing national personnel requires strategic investment in training that integrates advanced military knowledge, physical readiness, and tactical precision. What we witnessed today reflects a high level of professionalism and clearly demonstrates the capabilities acquired by National Service Programme recruits, qualifying them to carry out defence duties with full competence." The event featured tactical and combat exercises, infantry formations and field manoeuvres designed to demonstrate the recruits' readiness and discipline.
