Next week on the ITV soap, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) risks it all as she faints behind the wheel of a car - but who is in the passenger seat?
Determined to drop a few pounds before her big engagement bash, Gabby's all smug as the early days of her risky diet seem to pay off.
But as the week goes on, the hunger games catch up - leaving her tired, cranky, and totally wiped out.
In the run-up to her engagement party, Gabby ditches proper food and downs a mega quadruple black coffee - buzzing on caffeine but starving for real fuel.
Later, she drags herself to the garage to check on her dodgy motor.
Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) - who is recovering from major surgery - offers to join her for a spin to spot the fault.
But, neither has a clue the terrifying drama that's about to hit the road.
Actress Rosie teased: "Gabby wants this picture-perfect day, and her insecurities are coming out.
"She starts crash dieting and drinking a hell of a lot of coffee, and putting exercise at the front of her mind. She takes things drastically.
"It's a recipe for disaster. Gabby hasn't been eating so feels very tired and dizzy, and faints behind the wheel – which causes her to swerve."
Sarah is forced to slam on the brakes and pull over quick, even though it could rip open her fresh stitches from her surgery.
With both women in a bad way, they head to A&E - will they be okay?
Rosie shared: "At the hospital Gabby is diagnosed with low blood sugar.
"The women in her life tell her how ridiculous it is she's risking her health and her life for one day, one dress.
Soap's most harrowing teen storylines
We take a look at other harrowing teen soap storylines from soaps Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.
Belle Dingle's schizophrenia in Emmerdale - Belle's (Eden Taylor-Draper) traumatic journey in Emmerdale took a dark turn when, after accidentally killing her best friend Gemma at just 16, her mental health began to spiral.
The storyline, which saw Belle struggling with her grief and guilt, showcased her battle with hearing Gemma's voice inside her head, leading to a dramatic decline in her well-being.
Hannah Ashworth's anorexia in Hollyoaks - Viewers were horrified as they watched Hannah (Emma Rigby), a seemingly innocent teen, spiral into dangerous behavior, starving herself in an attempt to achieve what she thought was the ideal body.
As Hannah's condition worsened, the storyline became more intense, culminating in her being hospitalised for two months as she fought for her life.
Bethany Platt's grooming ordeal in Coronation Street - Vulnerable schoolgirl, played by Lucy Fallon, was at the centre of one of Corrie's darkest storylines to date when she fell under the spell of her older boyfriend and sexual predator.
The controversial scenes saw Nathan groom and manipulate the 16-year-old before coercing her into sleeping with his friends, with one of them raping her.
Whitney Dean's abuse from Tony in EastEnders - Since the age of 12, she had been in a twisted relationship with her stepmum Bianca's boyfriend, Tony King. The predator had groomed young Whit (Shona McGarty), making her believe she was in love and planning to run away with him.
On her 16th birthday, the traumatised teen finally revealed the years of abuse to Bianca. Tony was swiftly sent to prison sentenced for 13 years.
"Then Vinny comes in and talks some sense into her.
"It solidifies their desire to get married and put their priorities right."
Will Gabby stop her irresponsible diet?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, or stream from 7am on ITVX and YouTube.

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has paid tribute to a 'much-loved' colleague following his death. Matthew Owens worked behind the scenes on several stunt blocks for the ITV soap as a fire safety advisor, where he and Antony met in 2013. The Sean Tully actor took to Instagram to share a picture of the order of service from the funeral, alongside an emotional caption. 'Today was a very hard day for so many people, especially Matt's family,' he wrote. 'I still can't quite get my head round it, to be honest. Matt was just a really, really nice lad. 'We met when he did the fire safety for a stunt block at Coronation Street, 13 years ago and we've been friends ever since. 'He was a much loved son, brother, dad, colleague and partner. He was also a quiet and humble, solid friend. 'I'll miss hearing from you Matt, out of the blue sometimes, but always with a smile. You are at rest now, no more worries Matty Boy.' Alongside his work as a firefighter, Matt worked on numerous high-profile TV series, including other soaps like Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. He began working on Emmerdale in 2011, and was involved in some huge stunts, including the helicopter crash and the Hotten bypass crash. Rosallion a massive drifter for the Sussex as Field Of Gold jockey confirmed with Colin Keane banned from Goodwood
SUPERSTAR miler Rosallion is a big drifter for next week's Sussex Stakes at Goodwood - as Field Of Gold's jockey was finally confirmed. Richard Hannon's multiple Group 1 winner has gone right out on the Betfair Exchange. 1 He was second-fav for the £1million contest next Wednesday but has been usurped by Aidan O'Brien's Henri Matisse. Rosallion's price on the Exchange has ballooned from 5 (4-1) to 9 (8-1). Hannon had said the 7f City Of York at next month's Ebor Festival could be on the cards. But he also said the 1m Prix Jacques Le Marois (worth around £200,000 more than the City Of York) is a strong possibility too. It's very unlikely he would do both given they are less than a week apart, with the French race on August 17 and City Of York August 23. Rosallion's drift came as William Buick was confirmed for the ride on Field Of Gold, who is already as short as 4-9 for the Sussex. Juddmonte's retained rider Colin Keane - who would have been on the top three-year-old - is banned from Goodwood after breaking whip rules. More to follow.
