Actor Billy Bob Thornton, who shares screen space with Demi Moore in 'Landman', shared that his co-star Moore could not recollect working with him on the set of Indecent Proposal over 34 years ago, reported People.
The Television Academy in North Hollywood hosted a buzzworthy FYC event for 'Landman' earlier this month. The TV drama created by Taylor Sheridan exploded on Paramount+ in November 2024, becoming the platform's biggest premiere in two years. Starring Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, 'Landman' dives deep into the gritty, high-stakes world of the Texas oil industry, drawing inspiration from the acclaimed Boomtown podcast, as per the outlet.
The ensemble cast included John Hamm, Andy Garcia, Jacob Lofland, and Ali Larter. 'Landman' is quickly becoming a cornerstone of Sheridan's storytelling legacy.
Thornton revealed more about his multifaceted character, Tommy Norris, during a recent event for the program. He also discussed navigating Hollywood on his own terms, shared that Moore worked with her before reuniting for 'Landman' but she didn't remember it.

When the moderator, Stacey Wilson Hunt, asked Moore how she met Thornton, the 62-year-old actress acknowledged to being reminded by her co-star.
"She didn't remember me," Thornton revealed.
The two first met while working together on the 1993 drama directed by Adrian Lyne. However, Thornton played a small part in the film, so the two became more acquainted years later, reported People.
"We got to know each other because I did three movies with Bruce [Willis]," he added.
"And you brought the kids to set all the time. So over the years we've known each other."
Thornton and Bruce Willis' first film together was Armageddon in 1998. Since then, the duo has starred in Bandits (2001) and The Astronaut Farmer (2006).
Moore married Willis in 1987, but they ended up divorcing in 2000. The pair share three daughters together, although Willis went on to welcome two more with his current wife and model, Emma Heming.
'Landman' was primarily shot in the Fort Worth area of Texas, a location familiar to Sheridan. He's used the region as a backdrop for several of his other series as well, including 1883, Yellowstone, and Lawmen: Bass Reeves, reported People.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs criminal case: The music mogul submits a letter; demands a mistrial if the juror gets dismissal

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has submitted a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian claiming that the government wants to get rid of one of the African-American jurors only because of the race, and that he wants a mistrial if the judge bangs his gavel for the dismissal. What happened with the juror? One of the jurors in the high-profile case with sexual harassment case of Diddy is being considered to face dismissal from the court due to conflicting statements about residency, raising concerns about the safety and honesty that the jury should hold. Juror number 6, the 41-year-old African-American man, claimed he lived in a New York apartment during the weekdays. However, the statements changed to being relocated to New Jersey to stay with his girlfriend, and at other times, he claimed to have been living with his girlfriend or aunt in the Bronx. Diddy demands a mistrial... Diddy submitted a letter, stating that the court may believe the prosecutor's judgment, but the government wants 'to take advantage of an opportunity to strike yet another black male from the jury." Furthermore, he has claimed that the inconsistent answers about residency do not make the male unfit to serve on the jury, according to TMZ. While the judge had made up his mind to order the dismissal after the evidence emerged, the defendants think the decision is unjustifiable. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play Chess on Your PC, Free Play Classic Chess Install Now Undo Diddy has argued that if the court dismisses the juror, people of colour would not serve on the jury in the future. This is the third time that the Bad Boy Records founder has asked for a mistrial in the particular case. According to the various reports, out of 12 jurors, 8 are people of colour. The Daily Mail reports that 5 are African-American in the jury. In the trial, the rules would be followed as given by the New York State, and the court has the authority to replace any juror who violates the rules.
