Who is Norme? Kick streamer goes viral after setting his room on fire during livestream
Kick streamer Norme is once again in the spotlight, but this time, for all the wrong reasons. Known for pushing limits with outrageous stunts, the viral internet personality accidentally set his room ablaze live on stream after pouring Coca-Cola on his overheating laptop, which was a dare from his chat that quickly turned into a fiery disaster.

The Stream That Went Up in Flames
On June 22, Norme was mid-broadcast playing
Roblox
when he complained about his gaming laptop overheating. That's when viewers, jokingly or not, dared him to pour Coca-Cola over it to cool it down. In true Norme fashion, he went through with it.
Almost instantly, the laptop began to spark and smoke. 'It's making a bunch of weird noises. Did y'all lie to me?' he asked, clearly alarmed as the situation escalated.
From Overheating to Fire Hazard
Things took a dangerous turn when flames broke out.
Norme picked up the burning laptop to show his viewers the damage, then — in a panic — tried smothering it by flipping it onto his bed. Big mistake.
His bed caught fire, and what followed was a frantic attempt to douse the blaze using the rest of his soda. When that didn't work, he grabbed a fire extinguisher — but by then, it was already too late. The fire had spread.
Moments later, the livestream abruptly ended.
Kick Responds With a Ban
Shortly after the incident, Norme was banned from Kick.
Furious, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his frustration.
'NO WAY I GOT BANNED AGAIN. BRO WHAT THE F ??????? I NEARLY DIED WAHT IS YOUR GODAM PROBLEM KICKKK'
At the time of writing, the length of the ban remains unclear. However, this isn't Norme's first brush with platform rules — and definitely not his first viral stunt.
This Streamer Stayed Up For 11 Days Straight...This Is Why That's Bad
Norme's History of Risky Streams
Fans may remember Norme's 2024 viral stunt, where he unofficially broke the world record for going the longest time without sleep: a mind-bending 11 days straight. That marathon stream got him suspended from multiple platforms due to health risks and guideline violations.

He eventually finished it on Rumble, pulling in over 9,000 live viewers.
Though he was later medically evaluated, experts believed he wouldn't suffer any long-term damage. Still, it marked him as one of the most unpredictable faces in live streaming.
What's Next for Norme?
Norme has built his brand around shock value, high-risk stunts, and unpredictable content. But with repeated bans and increasingly dangerous behavior, questions are swirling about how far he's willing to go — and whether platforms will continue to tolerate it.
For now, one thing's clear: Norme's fire fiasco has sparked more than just flames — it's reignited the debate around streamer responsibility and platform moderation in the age of viral content.

Tu Trishul leke aa aur main Maa ka aashirwad…Good luck to us both 🙏 — Ajay Devgn (@ajaydevgn) June 24, 2025 Akshay Kumar will be seen in an extended cameo in Kannappa, a Telugu-origin mythological epic that stars Vishnu Manchu in the titular role. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film features a powerful ensemble including Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Madhoo, Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi, and Brahmaji. Akshay plays none other than Lord Shiva, with fellow superstars Prabhas and Mohanlal also appearing in key cameos. Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn's MAA is a spin-off of sorts from the hit 2024 supernatural thriller Shaitaan, which starred Devgn and R Madhavan. Directed by Vishal Furia and backed by Devgn Films and Panorama Studios, MAA is a mytho-horror fronted by Kajol. The film is said to further expand the horror thriller cinematic universe that Devgn is building. Both films are slated for release on June 27, and fans are eager to see how the clash pans out at the box office. With Akshay and Ajay's bromance and public support for one another, audiences may end up supporting both films, turning the weekend into a celebration of friendship as much as cinema. Akshay and Ajay have previously worked together in successful films like Suhaag, Insan, and most recently, Singham Again. First Published:

Bizarre social media stunt: British man arrested over Disneyland ‘wedding' with 9-year-old Ukrainian girl; guests were hired
Representative image (X@franceinfo) French prosecutors on Tuesday charged a British man with crimes including money laundering and identity theft, following his alleged involvement in a disturbing event at Disneyland Paris, where he reportedly staged a fake wedding ceremony, acting as the groom to a nine-year-old Ukrainian girl. Prosecutors stated that the 39-year-old man, whose name has not been disclosed, is a convicted sex offender and is currently wanted by authorities in the UK. He allegedly staged it for some sick social media stunt. According to Meaux prosecutor Jean-Baptiste Bladier, the British citizen is currently wanted in the UK for failing to meet the requirements of the country's sex offenders register. He was taken into custody early Saturday morning after police were called to the theme park by a 'guest' who said that the man had hired him to portray the bride's father in the staged ceremony, reported BBC. The man said he had been paid €12,000 to play the role and that he only realised at the last minute that the "bride" was a child, according to a statement by Meaux prosecutor Jean-Baptiste Bladier. The New York Post reported that the venue had been privately booked for the event, at an estimated cost of $150,000, but Disneyland Paris staff intervened and halted the ceremony after realizing the 'bride' was a 9-year old girl. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 90s Icon: A Look at Her Today I Am Famous Undo Authorities said the British man was arrested along with three others: a 24-year-old Latvian woman pretending to be the bride's sister, the 9-year-old girl's 41-year-old mother, and a 55-year-old Latvian man who had been brought in to take part in the ceremony. 'We all thought we were going to attend a wedding … Everyone was stunned, no one expected it,' one of the hired extras told. The guests who were hired were reportedly told they were being paid to participate in an upscale wedding rehearsal. The 'scared and confused' little girl was spotted wearing a wedding dress and 5-inch heels 'taped to her feet' when she showed up to the park, Le Parisien reported. The statement put out by authorities also noted that the Ukrainian girl, who had arrived in France two days prior, had not been subjected to physical or sexual abuse and was not "forced to act" as the bride. 'The investigations, including the medical examination of the minor, a Ukrainian national, showed that she had not been subjected to any violence or coercive acts,' the prosecutor's office said. Approximately 100 French extras were brought in to participate in the staged ceremony, which was planned to be filmed privately. The British man reportedly rented Disneyland Paris for several hours to play the groom. Preliminary findings said he had allegedly been "made-up professionally so that his face appeared totally different from his own," according to the prosecutor, reported BBC.
