MAFS' Carina defends Adrian and Sierah amid 'cheating scandal'
Married At First Sight's Carina Mirabile has defended Adrian Araouzou and Sierah Swepstone following Wednesday night's episode and argued that it doesn't appear they did anything wrong. The duo, who are rumoured to be involved in this season's 'cheating scandal', copped backlash on social media when they sat next to each other at the dinner party and were filmed secretly playing footsies under the table.
Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle following the episode, Carina admits she is surprised that Adrian and Sierah's interaction has been interpreted as 'cheating'. In fact, she believes they were just friends and the camera didn't actually capture anything suspicious under the table.
'I never had any indication that there was more than a friendship between Adrian and Sierah and that little footsie thing last night, that was the first time I've seen it,' she says.
'Was it really footsies? I don't think it was. I went back and re-watched it, I had to rewind, and I was like, wait what? What is going on? That zoom-in was not close enough, I need to see some more evidence.'

Carina went on to explain that the entire cast became friends while filming the show because it was a 'pressure cooker environment'.
'I think maybe it was a friendship to them and they were both able to feel comfortable to converse with one another on a banter level,' she adds.
Adrian has since broken his silence about the 'footsie scandal' with Sierah and asserted that nothing was going on between them at the dinner party.
'If touching feet is cheating then I definitely would have cheated on Awhina [Rutene] with Ryan [Donnelly], Jacqui [Burfoot], Jeff [Gobbels] and Rhi [Disljenkovic] because they were sitting across from me – and Tony [Mojanovski] at one point,' he told 9Entertainment.
'If you're sitting at a table and you stretch your legs you end up accidentally touching people's feet. For me watching that back, I was so unaware that her feet even bumped my feet.
He added: 'On my mum's life I didn't know she bumped my feet. There was nothing more to it.'
Daily Mail reported last week that Adrian and Sierah formed an 'unexpected bond' after a night out during their first weekend in Sydney and 'stayed up late getting to know each other'.
Their close bond eventuated in an 'alleged indiscretion at a dinner party' - which we now know was the 'footsie scandal' - and their respective partners were left feeling 'humiliated' and 'betrayed' when it emerged at the commitment ceremony.
The publication also claims that Sierah and Adrian had an 'intimate dinner date' a few days later behind their partner's backs, and Billy felt 'completely blindsided' when the truth eventually emerged.
An insider tells Yahoo Lifestyle that while Adrian and Sierah maintain nothing inappropriate happened between them, she is later accused of trying to continually pursue him after their initial flirtation.

'The most devastating thing for Billy was the fact Sierah was the first girl he's ever opened up to about his family and father leaving,' they add. 'It's hard for him to be that vulnerable but he really wanted to let all his walls down and give their marriage everything.'

The shady way Adrian from MAFS Australia responded to ex Awhina's relationship with Billy
Married At First Sight Australia might be over, but drama from the most recent season still lingers. For those who followed series nine, you'll remember Adrian Araouzo and Awhina Rutene were initially paired together, as were Billy Belcher and Sierah Swepstone. However, you'll also know that neither relationship lasted, and both couples went their separate ways. (Billy felt betrayed when Sierah attended an evening meal with Adrian and fellow MAFS contestant Tony Mojanovski behind his back, while Awhina and Adrian had a commitment ceremony, but broke up before their Final Vows.) And to ramp up the drama even more, MAFS sleuths will be aware of the dating rumours between Awhina and Billy that have been flying around for months. While we can now report that the pair are official, after claiming they were "just friends" the entire time, Adrian has since entered the chat with a shady response to the relationship. Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, he said he had "no clue" what Billy and Awhina are doing. But if their relationship is serious, "good luck to them." Adrian then said he "hopes it's legit," because otherwise it would be "a bit embarrassing to act like a couple just for likes and attention." He continued: "I don't understand all these games certain couples are playing. If you're with someone and happy, put it out to the world [and] be proud you guys are together. Otherwise, keep it private until it's official." He then followed up by wishing them both "nothing but happiness and a healthy, successful relationship." As it stands, Awhina and Billy look super loved up. And from their joint Instagram official post, they seem to be in it for the long haul. On Friday, they shared a carousel of some recent moments, from a sweet mirror selfie to a romantic date night. The pair captioned the post: "I'll keep this one 🤭." Err, cute.

Chelsea roar back to beat Real Betis in UEFA Conference League final
Chelsea roared back to beat Real Betis 4-1 in the UEFA Conference League final in Wroclaw on Wednesday, becoming the first club to claim all four major European trophies. Manuel Pellegrini's enterprising Betis caught the favourites cold in Poland through an early goal from Abde Ezzalzouli but Enzo Maresca's team were a changed side in the second half. Two goals in five minutes changed the complexion of the game, with man-of-the-match Cole Palmer creating both openings for Enzo Fernandez and Nicolas Jackson. Substitute Jadon Sancho made the game safe in the 83rd minute, finishing from an tight angle and Moises Caicedo added gloss to the scoreline. It means Chelsea become the first club to win the full set of Champions League, Europa League, Conference League and the now-defunct Cup Winners' Cup. It is also the first silverware for the club since Todd Boehly's consortium took over from former owner Roman Abramovich in 2022, following an era of unprecedented success for the club. After a bright start from both sides, Betis broke the deadlock in the ninth minute through Ezzalzouli, who scored the goal against Fiorentina that took his side to the final. Malo Gusto lost the ball in midfield and Betis surged forward. Captain Isco produced a clever pass to find Ezzalzouli on the edge of the box and the Moroccan drilled a left-footed shot across Filip Jorgensen. Minutes later Marc Bartra tried his luck from distance as Betis pressed for a second, but this time Jorgensen was equal to the task, producing a flying save. Urged on by their massed ranks of fans at Wroclaw stadium, Betis went close again when Johnny Cardoso's shot from inside the box was deflected behind by Benoit Badiashile, with Chelsea clinging on. The Premier League side were enjoying the bulk of possession but struggling to create meaningful chances, with Betis defending well and Isco, a five-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid, pulling the strings. As half-time approached Betis goalkeeper Adrian raced off his line to deny Enzo Fernandez but Chelsea went in at half-time goalless. - Palmer magic - Maresca brought on Chelsea captain Reece James for the struggling Gusto at the break. The Betis boss was forced a change when goalscorer Ezzalzouli was forced off, with Jesus Rodriguez coming on to replace him. Chelsea were level in the 65th minute following a fine move down the right after Cole Palmer produced a fine cross to pick out Fernandez. The midfielder got between two defenders to head the ball down and past Adrian. Suddenly Chelsea's tails were up and the fans behind the goal were in full voice. In the 70th minute Palmer produced some magic on the edge of the box before producing a delightful cross which hit Jackson's chest and went in. Jackson should have scored a second goal but a heavy touch allowed Adrian to gather. But Sancho made it 3-1 when he combined with fellow substitute Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Caicedo added a fourth. Victory for Chelsea breaks an astonishing cycle of wins for Spanish teams. Taking into account World Cups, European Championships, Champions League and the UEFA Cup/Europa League, of the previous 27 men's finals involving Spanish teams, all 27 had had Spanish winners. Four Spanish club sides had been defeated in that time, but in all cases by fellow La Liga sides. Earlier, the centre of Wroclaw was packed with fans from both clubs, with green-and-white clad Betis fans outnumbering their English rivals. Poland's interior minister said police made 28 arrests after supporters clashed in the city's market square. jw/lp

The 4 things MAFSAU left out from Paul's shocking wall punch, as Carina reveals his "swinger past"
Married At First Sight Australia bride Carina Mirabile has revealed the full story behind the shocking moment that led to her then-hubby Paul Antoine punching a wall. About halfway through the experiment, things went left for the former power couple, as Paul revealed at a dinner party that he'd lost his temper and punched a wall after Carina admitted to sleeping with a rapper. The moment came as a shock to the other MAFSAU cast members and viewers alike, as the duo seemed super loved up and on the way to building a successful marriage. It turns out... a lot was actually left out of that moment. Here's everything that happened leading up to the moment that Paul punched the wall on MAFSAU. Carina and Paul told the other cast members that Paul had punched the wall because Carina revealed that she'd slept with a well-known rapper. However, the rapper's name wasn't disclosed on the show. Speaking about the incident on her new podcast with celebrity hairstylist Jacob Mueller, This Is Chaos, Carina claimed that the rapper she was intimate with is US star Quavo - who is best known as the frontman of the now-defunct hip-hop group, Migos. While we know that the incident took place after a double date with Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, during which Carina revealed that she'd been intimate with a rapper, we didn't hear the exact details on MAFS. Carina has now opened up about the incident, saying: "We were taking turns putting on a song [in an Uber]. I put on a song and it was one with Quavo in it. I said, 'I slept with him' as it was funny and stupid, we all laughed about it. Paul laughed as well." She continued: "Then when we get back to the apartment and Paul was so furious. He was frustrated, I could see he was upset. He was pacing, he had to go the balcony, I was thinking, 'Okay this isn't normal, something is up.'" Carina thought that her comment would be unimportant given a previous confession from Paul. According to Carina, Paul revealed that he was into swinging in his previous relationship. Despite her initial reservations, Carina says she put it behind her, so she expected the same grace when it came to her revelation. She said: "When Paul and I were doing Confessions Week at the start of the experiment, he openly said that he was into swinging with his ex-partner. "I was like, 'Are you for real? Does your family know about this?' Then he told me all about his past dating life and I just let it go." She continued: "He was just so upset and dramatic about the whole Quavo situation. I kept apologising, he kept saying he was embarrassed that I openly said that. I kept saying sorry, sorry, sorry. I didn't feel unsafe, it was just us having a fight. "I said, 'But you openly said, on camera, for a national television show, that you had slept with swingers and did swinging with your ex so I didn't think [me sharing that story] that was a bad thing.'" Before Paul punched the wall, Carina says a producer who had overheard their argument, tried to diffuse the situation, asking Paul to go for a walk to cool down. However, this didn't help and when Paul returned from his walk he was still angry. "He was angry, pacing and breathing heavily. I just said, 'Let's go to bed, let's go to bed.' So we're laying in bed, I could hear him panting and I asked, 'what's going on? Are you okay?' He got up and said 'No, I'm not okay.' "He got up and bang, bang. I was like, 'Holy s**t this has now gotten so much serious.' I was freaking out, thinking how did it get from that comment to this situation?'
