After A Bitter Zionist Morning… Ceasefire Agreement Marks a Historic Victory for Tehran
The ceasefire agreement between the Israeli entity and Iran marks an extraordinary victory for Tehran and affirms that military power alone can bring victory, dwarf the enemy, and force it into retreat—after once presenting itself as an invincible army.
Before the ceasefire announcement, Iran launched successive rocket barrages toward the occupied Palestinian territories, causing dozens of deaths, injuries, and disappearances, as well as widespread destruction over a large area. Meanwhile, the Israeli enemy had targeted residential homes and civilian areas in the capital Tehran, where several martyrs and injuries were reported.
The best description of the fierce Iranian missile attacks and the extensive devastation in the occupied territories this morning came from Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who said: 'This morning undoubtedly left bitterness in the hearts of Israelis.'
Earlier on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that 'a ceasefire agreement has been reached between the Israeli entity and Iran,' as he put it.
Israeli enemy radio reported that Netanyahu informed his extremist cabinet ministers of the ceasefire agreement with Iran and instructed them not to make any public statements.
A statement from Iran's Supreme National Security Council described this as a 'divine victory, the result of popular awareness, the jihad of the mujahideen, and the wise leadership of the Imam,' which forced the enemy to retreat, admit defeat, and unilaterally halt its attacks.
The statement added:
'In this context, the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council informs the brave and great Iranian people that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran remain on full alert, with their fingers on the trigger, ready to deliver a decisive and painful response to any possible act of aggression.'
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed via his account on the platform 'X' that 'the operations of the powerful Iranian armed forces continued punishing the Israeli entity for its aggression until the last moment—until 4:00 a.m.'
Reuters reported that Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani secured Iran's approval for the U.S.-proposed ceasefire during a phone call with President Trump.
As part of 'Operation Bushra al-Fath' (Good News of Victory), the Iranian Revolutionary Guard targeted the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with a powerful missile strike in response to American airstrikes early Sunday on three American nuclear sites.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that if 'Israel' and Iran have indeed reached a ceasefire agreement, it is a welcome development. He expressed hope it would be a lasting truce.
In a press statement commenting on the ceasefire, Peskov said:
'This is what Russia has been calling for since the beginning of the conflict. Therefore, this development should be welcomed, and we hope it marks a permanent ceasefire. From the start, we have urged for military solutions to be ruled out, and for unwarranted attacks against sovereign states such as Iran to be avoided. Issues should be resolved politically and diplomatically.'
Responding to a journalist's question, Peskov confirmed that no discussion took place regarding any potential Iranian military retaliation to U.S. strikes during the meeting between President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. He said:
'Araghchi did not inform Putin of any plans for Iranian attacks on U.S. bases.'
Peskov also clarified that the Reuters report claiming Araghchi delivered a message from Supreme Leader Khamenei to Putin was fundamentally inaccurate and inconsistent with reality.
He affirmed that Russia supports Iran's clear stance on the Middle East situation and intends to continue developing its relationship with Tehran.
Mohammed Abdul Salam, spokesman for Ansar Allah, stated:
'We salute Iran—its leadership, people, and army—for waging the 12-day war with strength, courage, and determination, with great sacrifices. That is the price of independence, freedom, and principled positions on the Palestinian cause.'
He added:
'Iran, among the first Islamic countries and with its own arsenal, faced off against an enemy armed with the latest Western weaponry. The battle was not only with Israel, which serves as an advanced American outpost, but also with the United States and other Western nations that stood by the aggressors.'
He continued:
'Iran's steadfast commitment to its peaceful nuclear rights and principled stances proves the enemy has failed to achieve its declared goals. Its crimes against scientific and military personnel and attacks on various facilities will not deter Iran from claiming its legitimate rights.'
He concluded:
'What can protect the sovereignty of the region's states and restore their dignity is for them to move beyond internal disputes, unite on common ground, and realize that they are all threatened by an entity America uses as a blunt instrument to strike any nation that seeks power, dignity, and independence.'

Zionist enemy forces penetrate al-Quneitra countryside, move between Syrian positions
London - Saba: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Tuesday that an Israeli enemy forces patrol penetrated the town of Taranja, north of al-Quneitra, Syria, stopping in the town square and then continuing towards the town of Hadar. The Observatory also stated that an Israeli patrol moved from Tal al-Ahmar and headed towards the outskirts of the village of al-Asbah, without any clashes with residents. It indicated that enemy forces penetrated after midnight last night into the villages of al-Arda and Maariyah in the western Daraa countryside, within al-Yarmouk Basin area, using approximately 12 military vehicles. World Elders Council: Israel deliberately blocking aid from entering Gaza
London - Saba: The World Elders Council, which includes prominent world leaders, confirmed that Israel is deliberately blocking aid from entering the Gaza Strip, warning that the Strip faces the risk of genocide as a result of obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid, which is exacerbating the famine crisis. The group said in a statement on Tuesday that a delegation from the group visited the border crossings with Egypt and witnessed firsthand the deliberate prevention of life-saving aid from entering the Strip, according to Quds Press. Former New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark explained after visiting Rafah crossing that "many mothers are unable to provide food for themselves or their newborns, in light of the collapse of the health system," calling on Israel to open the crossing urgently. The statement indicated that the delegation saw evidence of the prevention of food and medical aid from entering and heard testimonies of the killing of Palestinian civilians, including children, while trying to obtain aid inside Gaza. The London-based council, founded by former South African President Nelson Mandela in 2007, called for the recognition of the State of Palestine, an immediate suspension of arms transfers and their components to Israel, and the imposition of sanctions on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court. The statement emphasized that recognition of the State of Palestine "will not alone be sufficient to halt the impending genocide and famine" in the Gaza Strip.

Foreign Affairs: Decision to announce termination of UN envoy to Yemen possible if agenda of aggressor countries continues to be implemented
Sana'a - Saba: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed on Tuesday regret over the contents of the briefing of Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Hans Grundberg before the Security Council session held Tuesday. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that it followed, as usual, the briefing of the UN envoy to Yemen before the Security Council on August 12, 2025 AD. Unfortunately, his briefing continues to revolve around a vicious circle and steers clear of the root causes of the crisis in Yemen. The Ministry indicated that talk of peace and stability remains incomplete without a clear reference to the ongoing Saudi-Emirati military aggression, the American, British, and Israeli aggression, as well as the comprehensive and unjust blockade imposed on the Yemeni people for years. The statement noted that the briefing did not provide an accurate and impartial description of the reality on the ground, which undermines its credibility and makes it appear as if it is settling the victim and the perpetrator. Regarding the UN envoy's reference to escalation on the front lines, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that any military actions by the Yemeni armed forces are part of a legitimate response to the ongoing violations by the mercenary side, which has not committed to a genuine and comprehensive ceasefire. The Ministry also emphasized that strengthening defensive positions in areas in Hodeida is a natural measure and a sovereign right to protect Yemeni territory and vital infrastructure, especially with the ongoing threats of aggression. It expressed surprise that Sana'a was held responsible for the fragmentation of the Yemeni economy, when the real cause lies in the unilateral decisions taken by the "Central Bank in Aden," affiliated with the coalition's mercenary government. The statement emphasized that these decisions, which led to the collapse of the currency, were made under the direction and direct support of the aggressor states. The statement explained that the measures taken by the Government of Change and Construction, including the issuance of currency, are necessary measures aimed at protecting the national economy and maintaining currency stability in areas controlled by the Supreme Political Council, ensuring the continued provision of services to citizens. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the UN envoy to assume his responsibility impartially and speak frankly about the unilateral measures taken by mercenaries that threaten the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen. These measures include the issuance of new identity cards, a move aimed at perpetuating political separation and undermining the Yemeni social fabric. These measures also include unilateral measures aimed at restricting citizens by obstructing the process of authenticating educational documents, criminal records, and medical professional licenses, among other things. The statement reiterated that the support and backup operations for the Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab are in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza, and are not part of the internal conflict, as the UN envoy is promoting. The statement pointed out that these operations will not cease until the aggression stops and the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted. It noted the UN envoy's attempts to link the operations to the aggression and blockade on Yemen and to discuss the damage to ports, while deliberately ignoring the direct attacks carried out by the aggression on Yemeni ports and airports since the beginning of the war. The statement also ignores its responsibility to alleviate the suffering of special humanitarian cases requiring travel for medical treatment, which has resulted in the deaths of some of them. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates also renewed its call for the UN envoy and the Security Council to adopt a more neutral and objective position, based on serious efforts to halt the aggression and fully lift the blockade, and to stop using humanitarian and economic issues as a tool of political pressure. The Ministry's statement emphasized that the decision to announce the termination of the UN envoy's mandate is possible if he continues to represent one party and implement the agenda of the countries aggressing against the Yemeni people.
