
Al-Jarallah meets Kyrgyz envoy, ex-army officials, Kuwaiti lawyer Dalal Al-Mullah
KUWAIT CITY, May 26: Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism and Editor-in-Chief of the Arab Times and Al-Seyassah newspapers Ahmed Al-Jarallah held several meetings at his office in Dar Al-Seyassah on Sunday. He first met with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Kuwait Dr. Nurlan Tokobaev. Their discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between the two nations in media, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields to enhance friendly relations. Tokobaev commended the collaboration between his embassy and the Arab Times and Al- Seyassah newspapers, acknowledging the vital role of Kuwaiti media in fostering international understanding.
Al-Jarallah welcomed the ambassador, highlighting the strong ties between Kuwait and Kyrgyzstan. He affirmed the dedication of the Kuwaiti media in supporting international cooperation through ethical and responsible reporting. Also present at the meeting were Secretary of the Kyrgyz Embassy Tilek Esen Uulu and Managing Editor of the Arab Times Marlon Aquino Malinao. Subsequently, Al-Jarallah received retired Major General Mohammad Al-Mubarak, accompanied by media personality Dr. Hamid Abdullah and retired Major General Faisal Al-Jazzaf. Their conversation centered on Al-Mubarak's distinguished career; specifically his heroic acts and capture during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
Al-Jarallah lauded Al-Mubarak's bravery and patriotism, stressing the importance of documenting the achievements of national heroes for the future generations. Al-Mubarak expressed his gratitude for the visit and recognized the role of the Kuwaiti press in recording national heroism. Later, Al-Jarallah met with Kuwaiti lawyer Dalal Al- Mullah to discuss legal and public matters. He stressed the significance of upholding justice and promoting legal awareness in society. He praised the contributions of Kuwaiti women in the legal profession, acknowledging Al-Mullah's efforts in defending rights and advancing legal literacy. Director of Legal Affairs Hamada Al-Amir also attended the meeting. He contributed to the discussion regarding the legal framework for media and its function in serving in the interest of the public

Al-Tijaria, CSCEC sign strategic MOU with to collaborate on govt-tendered projects

KUWAIT: The Commercial Real Estate Company (Al-Tijaria), one of Kuwait's leading real estate companies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd (CSCEC), a global construction giant based in China, to jointly explore and collaborate on a range of strategically selected development projects tendered by governmental authorities in Kuwait. This agreement establishes the framework for collaborative efforts in conducting technical and financial feasibility studies during the bidding phase with CSCEC, who will perform these services in the capacity of the prospective construction contractor, subject to the viability of the project and the successful award of the contract.
