TheNike SBteam has achieved ample success with theSB Dunk Lowover the years, however, it remains reliant on the silhouette as a significant sales contributor. While new models from the skate division have offered fresh energy at times, its biggest footwear breakthrough in recent times is its ownNike SB x Air Jordan 4sneaker, reimagining the legendary sneaker with a skate-oriented build. Introduced in 2023, it earned many nods as one of the year's best releases, leading to asecond colorwaythat dropped this March.
It's become apparent that Nike SB looks to replicate this success with other models as, after all, it's how the SB Dunk Low was created in the first place. We know that Nike SB-designed versions of both theAir Max 95andAir Force 1 Loware on the way. Now, a newrumor reportfrom Sneaker Files indicates that it also has its own take on Charles Barkley'sAir Max2 CB 94 Lowbeing prepared for next year. Its high-top counterpart has been spotted several times in recent years, however, the low-top version has been absent from shelves. While we lack a first look at the pair, you can expect it to sport a 'Varsity Red' color scheme that may be similar to theF&F-exclusive AJ4that the SB team created. It's also likely to feature a new construction that better supports skaters.
At the time of writing, the Nike SB team has not yet confirmed that it has its own version of the Air Max2 CB 94 Low coming out next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at this rumored 'Varsity Red' colorway, and be ready for it to arrive early next year via Nike SNKRS and select skate shop, likely above the model's previous $140 USD price point.

USC Coach Eric Musselman's Wife Danyelle Turns Heads on Social Media Saturday
USC Coach Eric Musselman's Wife Danyelle Turns Heads on Social Media Saturday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The USC Trojans entered the Big Ten Conference last season and failed to make the NCAA Tournament one year after the departure of Bronny James from their hoops program. Advertisement It was a disappointing season for Trojans head coach Eric Musselman, whose team struggled for most of the season and failed to recapture their past glory in a new conference. On Saturday, a picture of Musselman and his wife Danyelle Sargent began turning heads on social media as Musselman shared a photo of the couple preparing to head out for the night. The late night date (by East Coast standards) included a photo of Musselman and his wife cleaning up for a night on the town. The couple wed in 2009 and have a daughter named Mariah Musselman. Advertisement The Musselmans' date night had fans reacting on X with joy and excitement. "Awesome," one fan said with a thumbs up. "Nice @Nike gear, coach," they added with a thumbs up emoji. "You 2 look great coach!" another fan said. "Couple of teenagers having a date night at the beach," another fan added. "Y'all clean up nice coach," another said with a 'fire' emoji. The Trojans' Class of 2025 will be led by Alijah Arenas, a five-star shooting guard and son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, and four star shooting guard Jerry Easter. The Trojans will look to improve on a 17-18 season last year which included a 7-13 Big Ten Conference record. HBCU Honored With Exclusive Player Edition Jordan
HBCU Honored With Exclusive Player Edition Jordan originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Jordan Brand has rolled out a truly impressive Player Edition Jordan 4 made specifically for the Bison basketball team. This player edition model represents a few current Nike staples that have performed very well in recent memory. Namely, dark tones of the same color with a white sole and white laces, along with gold trim. The decision to utilize the Jordan 4 would be enough to move the needle, but the colorway treatment applied ensures consumer envy. Advertisement Player Editions are exactly what that implies. A model and colorway made exclusively for players that will not be made available to a wide consumer release. Virtually any PE typically creates a huge demand and an even higher resale value that most any wide release could hope for. View the 9 images of this gallery on the original article Due to such a low volume of pairs that will be circulated within the Howard University program, the Howard Jordan 4 PE could fetch a significant markup down the road when any pairs surface. The design itself needs no real explanation if set within a wide consumer release. The white outsole, white laces, paired with a dark upper that is 3 different shades of navy blue, with gold logos and a specialty 'Howard Bison' gold tag to replace the typical Nike tag sells itself. However, there has been some concern voiced by the Howard University fanbase suggesting the design is more understated than it should've been. Claiming there could have been more done to highlight the culture of Howard University. Advertisement While the two-tone navy blue does fit with the program's logo branding, the absence of red beyond being hidden on the underside of the tongue is noteworthy. Many PE's over the years have had heel logos, tongue logos or even specialty insoles that allow for more freedom with logos and messaging. A logo, whether readily seen or strategically hidden involving some details that are specific to Howard University or HBCUs in general would have been an interesting tribute. This exclusive Howard release has been widely reported as 'Spring 2025' and most likely intended for the 2025-26 College Basketball season.
