2025 PGA Championship prop bets, odds and PGA Tour predictions
The world's best players are in Charlotte, North Carolina, this week for the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. It's the year's second major, coming just a month after Rory McIlroy took home the green jacket at the Masters. The first round begins on Thursday morning.
Below, we search for the best value prop bets for the 107th PGA Championship from BetMGM Sportsbook's odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions.
With this being a major championship, some of LIV Golf's best players will be in the field – including Bryson DeChambeau, who's among the favorites to win. Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm will also be vying for the Wanamaker Trophy in Charlotte. Scottie Scheffler is tied with McIlroy as the co-favorites at +500, with DeChambeau third (+800). It's a loaded field with 156 total golfers, which will then be cut down to the top 70 and ties after Friday's second round.
Quail Hollow is a regular stop on the PGA Tour, hosting the Wells Fargo Championship each year. It's a long, difficult course that typically favors big hitters off the tee, creating challenging approaches into the green. This week, it will play at 7,626 yards as a par 71, making it the third-longest course on the PGA Tour schedule so far this year.

Rory McIlroy (+100)
McIlroy is the king of Quail Hollow and he has a great chance to win his second major of the year this week, which is why he's the co-favorite with Scheffler. He's a good bet to win outright, but as some insurance, take him to finish in the top 5. His length off the tee and improved approach game will keep him in contention.
Bryson DeChambeau (+188)
DeChambeau is right there with Scheffler and McIlroy as a top contender this week and for good reason, given how long he hits it off the tee and how well he's been putting. His irons were off at Augusta and he still tied for fifth after a terrible Sunday. If his approach game is dialed in, he'll be tough to beat.
Ludvig Aberg (+500)
Aberg is almost on the verge of winning his first major and this could be the week where he gets it done. He's long and accurate off the tee, which will keep him in the fairways and out of the long rough. There are still some questions about his closing ability on Sundays and he hasn't played Quail Hollow before, but he's a fit for any course.

PGA Championship – Top-10 picks
Justin Thomas (+160)
Thomas won the 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow so naturally, he's going to be a popular pick. Beyond that bit of history, he's playing extremely well this year, winning the RBC Heritage in a playoff and finishing second 3 other times in 2025 alone. He's ready to get back in the major championship circle.
Hideki Matsuyama (+320)
Matsuyama finished fifth at the 2017 PGA Championship here, showing he has what it takes to contend at this beast of a course. He's coming off a T-17 finish at the Truist Championship despite struggling on Sunday and is entering the week in good form.
Xander Schauffele (+188)
The reigning PGA champion may not be as sharp as he was this time last year, but he's been the runner-up at Quail Hollow in the Wells Fargo Championship each of the last 2 years after also finishing 14th in 2021. Plus, he's a top-10 machine in U.S. Opens and PGA Championships, coming in the top 10 nine times in his last 16 starts in those 2 events.
PGA Championship – Top-20 picks
Patrick Reed (+225)
Reed tied for second in the 2017 PGA Championship and finished eighth and sixth in the Wells Fargo Championship in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He knows this course well and has had success this season, coming in third at the Masters in April.
Brooks Koepka (+175)
Koepka's odds have gotten long in majors due to his recent strugg, les but he's won the PGA Championship 3 times, as recently as 2023 at Oak Hill. He excels at difficult courses and Quail Hollow fits the bill.
Min Woo Lee (+260)
Lee's distance is going to give him a fighting chance to contend, as will his short game around the greens. He's never played Quail Hollow, but it should fit his game well.
PGA Championship – Matchups
Suggested play is golfer in bold.
Ludvig Aberg (+105) vs. Collin Morikawa (-135)
Quail Hollow is a course that favors long hitters, which Morikawa is not. As good as his irons are, he'll have some longer shots into these firm greens, putting him at a slight disadvantage compared to someone like Aberg.
Hideki Matsuyama (+120) vs. Tommy Fleetwood (-150)
Fleetwood shouldn't be this heavily favored over Matsuyama, who came in fifth at this event in 2017 when it was played at Quail Hollow. He's a good driver of the ball and has one of the best short games around.
Sepp Straka (+100) vs. Corey Conners (-125)
Straka is fresh off a win at the Truist Championship where he edged out Shane Lowry. He's riding momentum into Charlotte and could legitimately contend again this week with the way he's been driving the ball.
PGA Championship – Top English
Tyrrell Hatton (+300)
Fleetwood is the favorite at +250, but Hatton has a good chance to not only be the top Englishman in the field, but potentially even winning. He just needs to avoid blow-up holes and keep his cool.
PGA Championship – Top Spanish
Jon Rahm (-160)
It's a heavily juiced line but you could argue Rahm should be an even bigger favorite. The only other Spaniards in the field are David Puig (+450), Sergio Garcia (+450) and Eugenio Chacarra (+700). Rahm may not be in the form he was during his prime, but he's still by far the best player of this group.
PGA Championship – First-round leader
Bryson DeChambeau (+2000)
DeChambeau led the PGA Championshio in 2023 after shooting 66 in the opening round. He was also the first-round leader at the 2024 Masters and was tied for fifth after Round 1 at Augusta this year. He can go really low when the driver is working.
Keith Mitchell (+6600)
Mitchell can't be the first-round leader again ... can he? He's already done it 3 times this year, including last week at the Truist Championship. He also finished in the top 10 at Quail Hollow in 2019 and 2021 when playing the Wells Fargo Championship, so his course history is encouraging.

2025 Tour Championship prop bet picks and PGA Tour predictions
A FedExCup champion will be crowned this week at the 2025 Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. It's the final leg of the playoffs, putting a bow on the PGA Tour season. The first round of this playoff finale begins on Thursday morning. Below, we search for the best value prop bets for the Tour Championship from BetMGM Sportsbook's odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions. The FedExCup Playoffs are down to just 30 players after last week's BMW Championship knocked 20 players out of the mix. Scottie Scheffler is still No. 1 in the standings by a mile, but with the format changing this year, he won't have the advantage of starting at 10-under par like in years past. Instead, everyone in the field starts at even par. He's predictably still the heavy favorite at +170, though. East Lake underwent a massive restoration project following the 2023 Tour Championship, creating a completely different layout and feel to the course. Holes were rerouted and changed, while green complexes and grasses were also replaced. This will be the second year of the new design, which is a par 70 and 7,490 yards. Tour Championship – Top-5 picks Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Tuesday at 7:46 p.m. ET. McIlroy excels at East Lake and now that there are no starting strokes, his odds for a top-5 are more reasonable than in years past. He won in 2022 and has never finished worse than 16th in his career at the Tour Championship. Burns had a top 5 last week in a 50-player field at the BMW Championship and is now heading to the 30-player Tour Championship, where he finished 12th last year, eighth in 2023 and 18th in 2021. It'd be safer to take him for a top 10 at -118, but +250 for a top 5 is worth taking. Hovland was the 2023 champion at East Lake, showing that his ball striking can be a difference-maker in Atlanta. He bounced back from a disappointing showing at the FedEx St. Jude Championship (T-32) by finishing T-7 at the BMW last week, getting back on track before the playoff finale. Tour Championship – Top-10 picks Bradley didn't make the top 6 as an automatic Ryder Cup selection but he can make it a no-brainer to pick himself by winning this week – or even finishing near the top of the leaderboard. He did that last year when he finished ninth and given the way he drives the ball, he's a real contender this week. Hall has a Ryder Cup statement to make himself, getting little attention from the European side thus far. He's finished 28th or better in 11 straight starts, a remarkable stretch for the overlooked Englishman. He doesn't necessarily thrive at tougher courses, but he avoids bogeys, which is a key metric at East Lake. Im has finished between second place and 24th in each of his last 5 appearances at East Lake, which is impressive no matter the Tour Championship's format. He's among the biggest long shots this week but all it takes is a top 10 for this bet to cash. That means he only has to beat 20 players. WATCH: PGA Tour is live on ESPN+! Get ESPN+ Tour Championship – Matchups Suggested play is golfer in bold. Ludvig Aberg (-105) vs. Russell Henley (-118) Henley isn't very long off the tee, which can put him at a disadvantage at a longer course like East Lake. Aberg, on the other hand, hits it long and straight off the tee and just finished T-7 at the BMW despite a 3-over final round. Viktor Hovland (-125) vs. Collin Morikawa (+100) Hovland has already won here once and he's up against Morikawa, who has been trending down for weeks. Cameron Young (-110) vs. J.J. Spaun (-110) Spaun is a steady player, but Young has a higher ceiling, especially after he broke through with his first win recently. Tour Championship – Top Asian It's Hideki Matsuyama and Im going head-to-head in this market and given Im's impressive track record here, he's the better value over Matsuyama, who's -175. Matsuyama hasn't had a top-10 since winning The Sentry in his first start of the year. Tour Championship – Top English It's risky to bet against Tommy Fleetwood (-140) and Justin Rose (+300) at a course where Hall has never played, but he's been too consistent and impressive in the last 2 months to ignore. Hall may not win the tournament but he can very easily finish higher than Fleetwood and Rose. Tour Championship – First-round leader Burns shot 4-under par in the first round last year, which didn't put him anywhere close to the top of the leaderboard thanks to the starting strokes, but it was one of the lowest rounds of the day. He's riding momentum after a T-4 last week, too. Play our free daily Pick'em Challenge and win! Play now! For more sports betting picks and tips, check out and BetFTW.
