Sean Kingston Released From Custody After Paying $100,000 Bond
This past Tuesday (April 15), the 'Beautiful Girls' singer was brought back into custody at the Federal Detention Center in Miami for not paying the fee, according to Local10.com. He was previously ordered to home detention while they waited for sentencing, provided he did not pay the $100,000. However, his lawyer confirmed that he has paid the amount in full. 'Mr. Kingston's bond has been posted, and he is in the process of being released,' Zeljka Bozanic told TMZ.
Now that Kingston is home, home detention continues, and he is being monitored via GPS. He has also handed over his passport. Last month, the Jamaican rapper and his mother, Janice Turner, were convicted of all charges in their federal wire fraud case. They were found guilty of stealing over one million dollars in jewelry, cars, and more in what was called an elaborate ploy.
Federal agents raided Sean Kingston's home in May 2024 and arrested both him and Turner. They received their official indictment in July 2024. During the trial, the Image Award nominee reportedly cried when hearing the guilty verdict and expressed concern for his mother; Turner was labeled a flight risk and the 'nerve center' of their fraud scheme.
In his defense, his attorneys called him a 'child' who was not aware of how his finances were being operated. Sentencing for Kingston and his mother is set to occur on July 11, and they are facing up to 20 years in prison for all counts.
Kingston burst onto the music scene in 2007 with 'Beautiful Girls,' which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. He followed that with 'Take You There,' the second single from his eponymous debut album, which went No. 6 on the Billboard 200. His career declined shortly after his 2009 hit 'Fire Burning.'

Everything we know about Taylor Swift's album The Life of a Showgirl
Taylor Swift makes huge album announcement with boyfriend Travis Kelce Taylor Swift has unveiled the cover and tracklist for her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. The American pop star, 35, announced her 12th album with her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason on his New Heights podcast on Wednesday. Her album cover is perhaps her most daring as she is submerged in a bathtub. "My day ends with me in a bathtub — not usually in a bedazzled dress — but we try to keep it decent," she joked on the podcast. "I wanted to glamorise all the different aspects of [The Eras Tour]." The album cover was captured by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who worked with her on Reputation in 2017. It was written behind the scenes of her incredible The Eras Tour, hence its name. Swift was literally living the Life of a Showgirl. "This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and and vibrant," she said on the podcast. "It just comes from like the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life. That effervescence has come through on this record." What is The Life of a Showgirl track list? The Fate of Ophelia Elizabeth Taylor Opalite Father Figure Eldest Daughter Ruin the Friendship Actually Romantic Wi$h Li$t Wood Cancelled! Honey The Life of a Showgirl (featuring Sabrina Carpenter) There will only be 12 songs on the upcoming album. When releasing The Tortured Poets Department, the songwriter had an "anthology" edition which had 35 songs. However, the singer promised it would be more "upbeat" than her last album which is a reflection of her current life situation. When is The Life of a Showgirl out? It is just weeks away from the release of The Life of a Showgirl as it comes out on 3 October. Max Martin and Shellback are producing the album Swift has been dropping Easter eggs about her latest album but did you spot them all? The songwiter has confirmed the album producers are Max Martin and Shellback (AKA Karl Johan Schuster). An Easter egg gave a big clue to their identities. Swift's latest Spotify playlist — titled "And, baby, that's show business for you" — has 22 songs. There are songs from Red, Reputation, 1989 and Red (Taylor's Version), and they all have one thing in common. Max Martin and Shellback (AKA Karl Johan Schuster) were behind all of the songs that are produced on the Spotify list. TMZ reported Swift has not been seen with Martin or Shellback in the last year but she also hadn't been photographed near a recording studio since December 2023 (before The Tortured Poets Department was released). Swift is collaborating with Sabrina Carpenter Swift is also going to be collaborating with Sabrina Carpenter for the twelfth song on the album, The Life of a Showgirl. Social media account Taylor Nation had planted this Easter egg about Swift's new album ahead of the big reveal. The account posted 12 images, marking it being her 12th album, of the singer wearing orange. In the last picture, Swift could be seen performing with Sabrina Carpenter during The Eras Tour. As the only person to be pictured alongside Swift, it raised questions about whether The Life of a Showgirl will feature a collaboration from the two artists. Swift and Carpenter have a history of friendship after they met for the first time in 2017. Carpenter described Swift as one of her best friends. "Well, Taylor is a rock star," she told Variety in 2024. "She's just such a gangster with all of it. No matter what people are saying, everything that I've ever seen her tackle, she's done so with grace. The posts about me having to 'ask for her permission' — no. She's one of my best, best friends, and we grab dinner or text and catch up like you would with your best friend." Orange One of the first clues about the 12th album was planted during The Eras Tour. Swift sashayed through an orange tunnel, closing her performances. Swifties also noticed that the songwriter wore orange on the 12th night of her European tour leg for The Eras Tour. Orange is the colour of her album, with a hint of mint green. Coinciding with the announcement of her album, the Empire State Building was illuminated with orange lights as seen in the official Instagram post. "Onto the next era," it teased.

How Kevin O'Leary landed a role in the Timothée Chalamet movie 'Marty Supreme'
Kevin O'Leary's casting in Timothée Chalamet's new movie may have come as a surprise, but he's playing a familiar role. The "Shark Tank" alum is set to star in "Marty Supreme" as Milton Rockwell, "one of the wealthiest men" in 1950s America, who is married to Gwyneth Paltrow's character, he explained to TMZ. O'Leary joked that director Josh Safdie and writer Ronald Bronstein came to him for the role because they were looking for quite the jerk (though the businessman's language was more explicit). "They're huge 'Shark Tank' fans, and this story is really about the American dream anyway," said O'Leary, 71. O'Leary said it was "a remarkable experience working with Timmy" and said the actor, 29, was "just full of electricity." "Timmy's all over the place. He's out of his mind in this movie," he said. "I think he'll get nominated for an Oscar in this one. This is his movie." Is 'Marty Supreme' based on a true story? Watch the trailer While "Marty Supreme" is not a biopic, it is a fictionalized story loosely based on the life of professional table tennis player Marty Reisman, who died in 2012. Watch O'Leary in the trailer below. The film also stars Odessa A'zion, Fran Drescher and rapper Tyler, the Creator in his big screen debut, credited as Tyler Okonma. O'Leary said he didn't take any acting lessons and was just encouraged to "be yourself, and let's see what happens." "I've always said, if you want to keep yourself sharp, you've got to spend 30% of your day outside of your comfort zone." O'Leary has made some television appearances over the years, each time as himself. The businessman has starred in episodes of "The Neighbors," "Dr. Ken," "Grace and Frankie" and "Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series." "Marty Supreme" is set for a Christmas Day 2025 release.

Vince McMahon Claims N-Word Abuser Hulk Hogan 'Wasn't A Racist,' X Says That's Cap Brother
Source: Getty Images / Vince McMahon / Hulk Hogan Vince McMahon has come out of his cave to put on his cape for the late Hulk Hogan, whose racist past continues to haunt him after his death. In a recent interview with TMZ's Harvey Levin, former WWE CEO Vince McMahon claimed that the late Hulk Hogan 'wasn't a racist,' even though he described himself once on tape as 'racist to a point' and used the N-word. He also admitted that Hogan 'said some racist things.' McMahon, who has been off the radar and out of the spotlight since he was aired out for his abhorrent behavior, did admit that Hogan's past remarks were 'racist,' while adding they were 'unforgivable,' but said in his opinion that it was 'not like him.' We care about your data. See our privacy policy. Levin also pressed McMahon about welcoming Hogan back into the WWE fold after previously distancing away from him, going as far as removing him from the WWE Hall of Fame. Hogan did apologize for his remarks, but pretty much doubled down after aligning himself with the MAGA movement, which doesn't hide its white pride bullsh*t disguised as an 'America first' agenda when he proudly stumped for the Racist-In-Chief, Donald Trump, showing up at one of Felon 47's rallies. 'I knew he wasn't a racist,' McMahon said. 'I'd been with him for so many years. He wasn't a racist. He said some racist things, and he should pay for that, and he did. But in the end, I think that everyone saw the real Hulk Hogan, Terry Bollea, and they felt [like] 'Now, wait a minute. This guy, he doesn't act like a racist.' He's not a racist. We all make mistakes. That was a big on,e but he wasn't a racist.' The conversation with McMahon is part of TMZ's The Real Hulk Hogan special that also features appearances from Sylvester Stallone, Mick Foley, and others. Following Hogan's death as a result of a heart attack, his 'complicated' legacy became a topic of discussion, with many body slamming him for being a racist. Still, that didn't stop people from somehow managing to separate the man from his racism, and celebrating him for being an influential figure and icon in the world of professional wrestling. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was one of the many paying their respects to the disgraced wrestler, calling him his 'childhood hero.' In response to the clip featuring McMahon, users on X have been calling C A P, while wondering what the hell is going on with his physical appearance. ' I was watching the TMZ special on Hulk Hogan. Vince McMahon looks like he's embalmed,' one post on X, formerly Twitter, read. Others electronically rolled their eyes at McMahon's claims that while Hogan said racist things, he wasn't a racist. Well, there ain't a damn thing complicated over here, we're just saying. You can see more reactions in the gallery below.
