Love Island star, and mum-to-be, Sammy May James shows off her blossoming baby bump in a black bikini in Dubai with her boyfriend, as she shares the gender of her first baby
Love Island star Sammy May James, who appeared as one of the stunning Casa Amor bombshells in 2023, is pregnant with her first baby and showed off her bump as she sweetly announced the gender.

The reality star, 29, shared a carousel of images in a black bikini with her bump clearly on show while on holiday in Dubai. In one snap, she is seen sweetly cradling her bump, and in another, she has her hands on her hips and is grinning from ear to ear.

Sammy couldn't look happier as she cosied up to her partner, Jamie Hannon and announced the gender of their bundle of joy. The former TV star captioned the post: "Halfway to holding her,' revealing that she is going to be a girl mom. It comes after Katie releases a statement after Alex Reid leaks bombshell cash counting video

Last month, Sammy sent her followers into a frenzy when she shared the announcement on social media that she was pregnant. She shared a sweet clip of her ultrasound along with a picture of the scan. She captioned the announcement: "Half of me, half of you - due January 2026."
Friends and fans rushed to send their congratulatory messages as fellow Love Island star Rosie Seabrook wrote: "Omg so happy for you girly', while Brad Howard commented: "Beautiful mate," with a red heart emoji.
A third follower wrote: 'Huge congratulations, Sammy, such amazing news!' while a fourth said: 'Amazing news both. Sending love and hugs and can't wait to see you xxx'.
While Sammy failed to find love in the villa, she did find it in the real world as she met Jamie shortly after leaving the show. She keeps her followers updated on their life together on Instagram and often shares snaps of her holidays.

In 2023, after she appeared on the popular ITV show, Sammy hit out at Love Island bosses for "editing" her out of the series as she opened up in a juicy Instagram Q&A.
In response to a fan asking her if anything 'surprised her' about going into the villa, she said: "Omg yes! Just how highly produced and edited the show is. I mean I wasn't naive going in, I'm a switched on girl. I knew this was the case, but I guess you never fully understand until you see yourself. Unfortunately, I can't talk about this until my contract ends after June.'
Warning viewers, she added: 'Just take everything with a pinch of salt when watching."
She also cleared up the rumours that the Casa girls were 'nasty' as another follower asked: "Why were the Casa girls so nasty about the OG girls?".
Sammy set the record straight and said: "No one was nasty. In fact we all spoke highly about the OG girls but it was all edited out so we came across like mean girls."

Jay Cutler denies Kristin Cavallari didn't receive money in divorce

During the June 18 episode of "Honestly Cavallari," the "Laguna Beach" alum, 38, reportedly debunked speculation that Cutler funded her beauty and apparel brand Uncommon James. "People love to say that everything I have in my life is because of my ex-husband," she said, per People magazine and NBC News affiliate KRNV. "I have never gotten a penny from my ex-husband," Cavallari added. "I didn't get any money from our divorce, so let's just clear that up." Cutler, 42, pushed back against his ex-wife's comments on the Aug. 15 episode of his podcast, "Take it Outside with Jay Cutler and Sam Mackey," joking: "Yeah, she didn't get a penny. She got a lot, a lot, a lot of (dollar) bills." "It's irresponsible. I think it's reckless," Cutler continued. "It's borderline slander to insinuate that there was zero dollars split during the marriage that each side got." USA TODAY has reached out to Cavallari's representative for comment. In April 2020, Cavallari announced her split from Cutler in an Instagram post, writing, "With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce." According to People magazine and the former couple later reached a child custody agreement, which allowed Cavallari to use "marital funds" to purchase a home for herself. Kristin Cavallari interview: 'Laguna Beach' alum is open to talking about anything, except her ex-husband. How much money did Kristin Cavallari receive from Jay Cutler divorce? While Cutler didn't go into details about how much money was allotted to Cavallari in their divorce settlement, the Chicago Bears alum said, "I can guarantee you it's definitely not zero dollars." "You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It's online," said Cutler, who reportedly earned $122.2 million across 12 seasons. "If we would have went to the judge and been like, 'Hey, he's going to keep every single dollar over the past seven years, and you're going to get nothing,' ... they would have been like, 'No, this isn't right. This isn't legal. Not happening.' " Kristin Cavallari talks Jay Cutler: TV personality says she was 'skin and bones' during 'unhappy' marriage When asked by cohost Sam Mackey if the settlement money is enough to live "comfortably" on, Cutler replied, "without a doubt." "It's insanity. It's completely false, completely untrue. It just is. I've got a divorce decree," Cutler said. "(I) hate that I even have to address it, honestly, but it gets to a point where it's just untrue." Contributing: Jay Stahl, USA TODAY

Novice NI beautician hoping to nail top prize at international awards: ‘It feels bizarre but amazing'

Trudy Sloan (37) runs La Rose Nails from her home in Comber. She is now in with a chance of bagging a gong at the Beauty Full Awards on September 25. She said: 'I have painted my own press-on nails since I was a teenager. I always wanted to get into it properly but never really had the confidence. 'I did a course in 2023, and then my New Year's resolution for 2024 was to put myself out there. 'I just do it part-time from the house, so I feel like I've got total 'imposter syndrome' being shortlisted for this.' Organisers of the competition, which highlight the best in global hair, beauty and aesthetics, contacted Trudy after seeing her social media. Trudy explained: 'I don't even have that many followers, so I don't know how they found me. 'When they reached out, I didn't know if I should enter or not, but then I just thought to myself: 'Let's just do it. What's the worst that can happen'?' She was selected out of thousands of applicants from across the world to be nominated in the newcomer of the year category. 'I thought it was just Northern Ireland or maybe the UK, but they told me they had thousands of entries and it wasn't just regional or national, it was global,' she said. 'They had UK, USA, Australia, Iceland, Finland — I nearly fell off my chair. 'I could get bronze, silver or gold, so I have three chances to win… I actually don't care if I win or not, I'm just delighted with this.' Celebrity nail artist Jenny Bui, best known for working with Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, is on the judging panel. Trudy added: 'It feels bizarre, somebody like her judging a wee woman from Comber, someone on such a big stage judging somebody that just does it from their house. 'It's just the weirdest feeling in the world, it feels amazing, but as I say, I feel total imposter syndrome; it doesn't feel real.' Trudy hopes to use the competition to boost her business profile and promote her Instagram and TikTok accounts. She said: 'It's just a hobby and a passion project and something that I went for and just thought: 'The only thing they can say to me is no'. 'From someone that was very reluctant to do anything, to be a finalist is something like this, it's incredible. 'I just want to get my name out here a wee bit more and I'd love to make this my full-time job. 'I've got about a month to go, but I don't know what I'm going to do until then.' The awards ceremony will take place online and is free of charge to watch for all entrants.
